Well done sir.
Do u even know intimidation is part of the army way of life.
There is even a course given to cadet in the NDA. Where they re taught to intimidate.
I have 4gotten the name of the course.
After completing it, they will be sent to intimidate civilian and record it to show it to their superior as evidence.
Failing to do it, they will be punished.

In this age of smart phones, Bluetooth, remote control, miniaturisation and all sorts of automation, you’d think majority of rifles would by now be able to use attachments such as “Vid-periscope” so that in the event of situations like the Nigerian soldiers found themselves, on their stomachs under cover, they could leave their tripod mounted rifle over the top and still be able to fire them while viewing what they were shooting at on their mobile phones.
All of that could be mitigated if they had a definitive IFV.

Considering the kind of attrition warfare we are fighting, it's rather strange that we do not have any definitive IFV.

On the other a RWS mounted on a fit for purpose armoured vehicle should suffice in this situation.

Agreed without reservation.

However, he has had to work HARD for it, the Iwobi of Arsenal who was not hard working and inconsistent is very different.

His current manager will not tolerate what he used to do at Arsenal. Look at the WORK RATE of Iwobi now totally different.

Are u saying Agbo's 10 goals in Belgium are worth more that Chuba's 4 in the championship?
Is that what I saidhuh You can read.

I used the bar that brought Iwobi into the SE when he had not played one game in the EPL for Arsenal. Or the bar that brought Osimhen, Chukwueze, Nwakali, Maja, etc when they had done little or nothing in thier careers.

That's the unit of comparison and measurement.

You cannot have one standard for some players and a different one for others.

What do terrorists do:

They shoot at unarmed civilians- Lekki tollgate massacre comes to mind.

They inject fear into the consciousness of the vulnerable - Go talk to a Nigerian who witnessed the oyigbo massacre, or a shiite who witnessed the massacre bequeathed on Shiites, and you see how terrified and angered they are at the mention of the Nigerian Army.

They terrorise the weak - You see this; in how they whip Nigerians in this 21st century; in how they extra judicially murder Nigerians with impunity; in how they order Nigerians to swim in drainages and gutters; in how they badly torture Nigerians for daring to state their rights as human beings.

They are very invested in the business of propaganda - You saw this in how the Army denied being involved in the Lekki massacre, then later, made a u-turn, stating they were involved, but shot blanks at protesters, then provided them with food and water thereafter. Or in how they pay propagandists to do image wash up for them on social media sites. If you read this thread carefully, you'd identify the Army Propagandists.

They are very much involved in violent crackdowns on dissenters. You just need to be a Nigerian in the bad books of some higher-up Nigerian politician, and the soldiers (zombies) would be dispatched to go pick you up, without a court order. Yet the zombies claim they are a professional fighting force. They are just tools in the hands of the ruling political class.

These are the things terrorists do. The day the Nigerian Army stops being a terrorist organization, Nigeria begins her journey to economic and political emancipation.
Agreed very painfully without question ❓ ❓ ❓

You want to see action Op TURA TAKAIBANGO is ur ticket that's if you've been following from day one
It really depends on what you understand by professionalism. But I picked up this definition online to give us some context.

Commitment and confidence, responsibility and dependability, honesty and ethics, and appearance and professional presence are central professional characteristics.

"The key to quality and efficiency is professionalism"

Let me explain further, your own personal experiences, understanding and knowledge will shape your expectations.

In this regard I do not expect to see trained combatants, abandoning a Vickers MBT in the face of a hostile engagement few rag tag gun trucks from Boko.

The incidents of dereliction of duty and outright cowardice over the years in the NE are too numerous to count.

I dont expect to see professional soldiers stripping women naked because they take exception to thier choice of attire.

Or decide to shave off the hair amidst horse whipping young men because they choose to have their hair in dread locks.

Or decide to drive against the flow of traffic because the military is exempt from traffic laws and run off anybody in their way.

Or decide as a means of entertainment to beat up people because they are army officer cadets in training and block the main road.

Burning down whole villages because a few militants are alleged or indeed come from that village in the Nigerian Delta.

Numerous incidents of the NA visiting murderous mayhem on other security department like the police when in dispute. That's not a professional approach.

I will not go into the corruption of the senior brass of the NA over many decades. Or in particular Burutai and his many million $ assets acquired as a public servant.

Finally, we saw the professional approach of the NA in shooting at defenceless citizens at Lekki tollgate.

The list is literally ENDLESS of deranged murderous violent behaviour and total lack of accountability by the NA.

That's not my PERSONAL experience of PROFESSIONALISM. We have very different EXPECTATIONS.

Nonetheless, l commend you for your optimism and hero worshiping of the NA, it's really. Misguided patriotism.

If you don't address the problem it continues, without admitting our FAILURES we cannot proceed to SUCCESS and VICTORY by wishful thinking.

If l was to describe the Nigerian military some of the words I would not use are ; Highly professional, highly disciplined, modern and technologically superior, very effective, infrastructurally competent with the best up to date fit for purpose modern cutting edge equipment in Africa.

I would also not say they are tactically astute with superior battlefield field management and strategy.

Amazing. You get keyboard warriors telling hardened soldiers what they require or don't require on the battlefield. Soldiers need to be mobile so having LAVs is preferable to Hilux technicals. Not every scenario requires MRAPs. Besides, we don't know all the equipment being used and what is expected.

Additional notes. It is always when progress is being made they appear. Never well done soldiers, always criticism to put a dampener on everything.

The 5th columnists on this thread enh!
Imagine a rag tag bunch of illiterate rudimentary drug addicted fanatics armed with improvised weaponry holding the whole of a nation to ransome. With its HARDENED SOLDIERS.

A situation where the Governor and elected representatives for years do not have full access to the state and all spatial infrastructure of government.

Keyboard warriors who are educated knowledgeable, innovative and informed have a lot more to offer than you may imagine or cannot imagine.

In modern warfare it is not brawn over brains. But Intelligence and Innovation.

Maja 2 goals in 17 games this season
Dessers 4 goals in 15 matches
Onuachu 19 goals in 19 matches
Osimhen 2 goals in 6 matches
Ugbo 10 goals in 17 matches

Ugbo is clearly doing better than Maja, Iheanacho and Dessers even Osimhen at the moment based on the above stats.
If for instance 4 strikers are called up to the eagles I don't see a reason why he shouldn't be in contention for a place in the team.

So you would be deceiving yourself if you think there is a no bar for SE invitation or that Ugbo has gotten anywhere near it grin

Troop captured 1 guntruck & some weapons, destroyed 2 VBIED & 2 guntrucks, while 5 soldiers paid supreme price & some injured. https:///HCwz0XLWTu

Can anyone I.D the APC?
First of all the structural integrity of the vehicle remain and what we have is limited blast and fire damage.

I would expect combatants to come out with just superficial burns and light injuries. Particularly if they were properly attired.

Nonetheless, for this vehicle which seems to be the STREIT Spartan APC, this is a light armoured vehicle. It has limited protection and it's mine protection inadequate simply not fit for purpose. It is not a MRAP, IFV, and the term APC in its description open to debate.

My assumptive deductions are also that it is over priced, probably cost more than $ 350k per unit, does anybody know❓ Look at marketing strategy of STREIT and the are very open to sharp practises.

It's not BEST VALUE and the best use of very scarce resources.

My criticism is based on better and far more cost effective alternatives as well as fit for purpose armoured vehicles. Our procurement lacks innovation and ingenuity.

Including our own locally sourced and manufactured MRAP's

Some of the pictures seen here show an array of weaponry, that presents the impression that we are fighting a conventional enemy that is static and not fluid.

To what degree this weaponry is effective and fit for purpose becomes a debate and a reflection of strategy and tactics.

My question is assumptive because I really do not know the specifics and numbers of the equipment but looking at past procurement they have fallen way below required needs.

Where are the VBIEDs emanating from?? A question that needs to be answered immediately so the location can be destroyed.
Where they are emanating from is not vital. These types of SVBIED can easily be equipped on the battlefield in a matter of minutes and used to murderous effect.

But most vital is the contingency plan to deal with it, that means fit for purpose armoured vehicles as well as mitigation battlefield tactics.

RIP to our fallen heroes.

Scottish premier league now rated by UEFA as the number 11 in Europe. Thats a meteoric rise from somewhere around 30 in the space of one season.

That rise is anchored entirely on the exploits of Celtic and Rangers in European tournaments.
HealthRe: Quality Body Building Supplements, Where To Get Them by komekn(m): 4:14pm On Jan 05, 2021
okay, if you are certain about working out then look for casilan 90,it's a high protein supplement that would both improve your appetite and help provide the amino acids your body needs to build muscle. Alternatively, You can look for creatine capsules, it's also a muscle builder and if you are dedicated to your workout, you will notice difference in as little as 2-3 weeks. Any good pharmacy store should have either one of them.
Actually improving appetite to eat and add weight could be required if a person is underweight/malnourished, that's why I asked the question first.
From an elite sports perspective there are dangers long term and short term with the use of cretin and other synthetic based protein.

My preference has always been NATURAL at all times.

Is this FLIR not clear enough for you?

The Nigerian military did all in it's powers to deny the bandits any freedom of action.

They deserve to be commended for quick action, professionalism and bravery.

They all deserve medals for the actions taken to rescue these boys.

Helicopters with FLIR, Special Forces, ground troops, heavy weapons they deployed with speed!!!

This is by far more impressive than the rescue the Americans were praised all over for recently.

The Troops and commanders deserve more than just praise.
Be honourable.

The first picture which was posted was completely devoid of any FLIR pod. What was shown was just the search light.

You then present a new TOTALLY DIFFERENT picture in which the FLIR pod is seen at the nose of the helicopter. And you then ask the question ❓ Thats dishonourable and a lack of integrity.

I see nothing to commend the NA for the entire exercise is steeped in subterfuge with claims and counter claims by different government bodies.

This was not a RESCUE but a RELEASE after cloak and dagger negotiations that included Miyatte Allah.

There is plenty to be ashamed about and nothing to commend.
