I don't think I've read a write up more stupid than this in a long time.

So rangers beating Porto makes them a better team than Porto bah.

In 2011/2012 Season Bilbao defeated Man Utd(then EPL champions) home and away. Does that make Bilbao a better team quality wise than United
To the person who cannot understand French, Spanish, etc it sounds like gibberish. And may consider the language stupid.

The comparison about the UCL as a unit of measurement for quality wasn't introduced by me. But countered by me with examples of Rangers and Celtic in the Scottish Premier league not being as good as the Championship.

Not too long ago Leicester got beat by League 2 Newport in the Cup. That did not make Newport better than Leicester. So don't know how your sense of reasoning led you to that deduction.

I was having a very civil discussion with Bengine on the issue, this is something you struggle with.

The core subject of discussion was simply that Sanusi will not walk into the Fulham team, IMO.

So let me educate you. You clearly either jumped on this train of discussion without establishing where it was coming from and or its intended destination.

Fulham is a very technical ball on the deck football team with passing and ball retention intrinsic to thier style of play.

In this regard Sanusi is not technically astute or has a good passing range, speed and athleticism yes. But his skills set are not what will give him any edge in Fulham to be first choice. In comparison to all three wingbacks.

Below screen shots from whoscored stats (neutral observer) that shouldn't be considered conclusive but indicative, but shows my opinion is not exclusive to me and or prejudiced.

One proviso it's not all a level playing field, a players may get a 8.5 scoring in the Eredivisie but will find it very difficult to get the same score rating in the much faster physical and more competitive EPL.

Meanwhile let me watch Liverpool fight with Manchester United, with a very weak link at CB.

You are talking assumptive sentiment be objective.

The EPL is way higher than the Portuguese league. So you assume that the top teams in Portuguese league will automatically be better than the bottom teams of the EPL. It is not so simplistic.

in the HERE and NOW Aina is playing for a relegation threatened team. Sanusi on the other hand plays week in week out for one of Europe's most prestigious clubs Porto that has won multiple UCL titles Europe's highest prize.

Aina is talented and has time to improve but looking strictly at the HERE and NOW he has regressed club wise. Chelsea to Torino to Fulham sorry that's not great reading.

You used Lukaku as an example without giving proper background. After leaving Chelsea he worked his way up to join Manchester United a bigger club than Chelsea and Inter Milan another club bigger than the blues.

Until Aina starts kicking it with the big boys then I would qualify your assertions as personal bias based on sentiment and emotive prejudice.

Misinformation.

Lukaku did not work his way up, at age 17 he scored 17 goals in the Belguim league for Anderlecht.

His first loan move from Chelsea where he was denied opportunity, the small matter of Drogba in his way. He went to WBA and as a teenager was one of the top goal scorers in the EPL.

Lukaku is an enigma from day one he has been killing IT from age 10 where do we start. He is in Seria A and he is killing it again.

Celtic is irrespective of its exploits in the UCL not better than Fulham.

Do you watch Ebuehi at Twente?

Based on current form:

Ebuehi is faster than Aina, for a modern fullback, speed is an advantage.
Ebuehi is mom disciplined positionally and supports the attack very well. Aina appears to spend more time in the opposition's half than he does playing the role of a fullback.
Ebuehi has shown to be more astute when it comes to the defense. He has the height advantage and is more successful with aerial duels. He is more comfortable on the ball and can absorb pressure.
When it comes to making good passes, Aina has the advantage, but Ebuehi can also deliver good passes.

Those are the main reasons why i said that i prefer playing Ebuehi at the RB position than Aina.
Football is played in huge public arena for all to see globally.

So why is he still playing in the Eredivisiehuh ❓ Even at his peak not one EPL team came for him, WHY ❓ He went to Portuguese league not Seria A or La liga.

Mr. K please remind us of the league Man Utd's current best player is from. He came right from the league you have denigrated and won the EPL player of the month multiple times. Ruben dias nko? So sir, Sanusi has played against the best in Europe and came smelling like roses . When your Robinson crusoe plays in the UCLthen this will be a legit argument.
Jah bless!!
Admittance to playing in the UCL is not by merit but by European national league team selection, with a limited number of teams from each national league.

That is why we have teams like Ferencváros, Krasnodor, Maicabi Hafa, Basaksehir, etc. That doesn't make these teams automatically superior to all the team in the EPL, La Liga, Seria A, that did not qualify from there national leagues. huh Certainly not. Or make all the players immediate top quality players, it's not so simplistic.

Robinson is not the benchmark for quality, however he is a USA international and had several top teams on his radar, including AC Milan who put in a bid for him.but he failed the medical.

That also does not mean that Robinson is better than Sanusi. They are different types of players and in my opinion Sanusi attributes will not fit into the football strategy and style that Fulham have adopted at the moment.

If Sanusi has been so outstanding in the UCL and in his club and league as you claim, then that means there should be a que of clubs fighting desperately to sign him in this January window.

Let's not get emotively biased with our preferences.

Let's look at matters objectively.

Porto is in a league rated way lower than the EPL, l believe that is without dispute.

Rangers is in a league that is likened to the English league one and at the very best optimistic assessment comparable to the English Championship.

This same Rangers held Porto to a draw at home and flogged them 2-0 in Glasgow. Ranger is no where near Fulham in Quality.

And you assume that Porto has a better quality team than Fulham, I disagree.

By what unit of measurement individual value, pedigree, ratings l seen no basis.

If your ola aina was so good as u make it seem why did his career path have to go through a downward spiral from Chelsea. Why did he need to leave to Torino if he was really good he should have found a middle team in the epl. And why should his Torino stint be only good enough to bring him back to a relegation team in England.

These things you have predicted about sanusi's long stay holds no value. He played for a relegation team and now he is playing for the best team in Portugal. He came from Africa to make a mark for himself. He didn't have the privilege of growing or horning his skills in the feeders team of one of the worlds best feeder team like Chelsea, unlike aina. So the five years he took to get to that height , commensurate with the time of right exposure in European soccer. He could retire in porto which is good for him and he could move to a more competitive league which is equally nice
Your background is irrelevant you are getting sentimental and emotive. Whether your from China or Africa, that should not be an excuse.

Players have left Africa direct from local football to top 5 leagues in Europe and have excelled.

We talk about the HERE and NOW.

The reference to Chelsea is not tenable and if you had an understanding of the dynamics at play in Chelsea you would not use that example.

Lukaku who to me is one of the best, WORLD CLASS most consistent strikers in the world over the past 10 years. Did not get a look in at Chelsea.

By your unit of measurement, Lukaku is therefore mediocre.

Ola Aina chose Fulham there were other options and a big factor was the Managers and playing style.

Finally, the EPL is the most competitive league in the World.

Nigeria youth international Nnamdi Ofoborh is being linked with a move to Scottish Premiership giants Glasgow Rangers.

According to Scottish Sun, The Light Blues are closing in on a deal for Bournemouth pair Jack Simpson and Ofoborh.

The former Tottenham Hotspur youth-teamer can sign a preliminary contract with a foreign club this month as his contract with the Cherries expires in June 2021.

Aside from Rangers, Ofoborh also has suitors from the English Football League including Charlton Athletic.

Rangers have held preliminary talks with Bournemouth over a deal for the former Nigeria U20 international; the Championship promotion hopefuls would be due compensation if he moves across the border as he is under the age of 24.

Over the course of this season Ofoborh has recorded five appearances for the Cherries in all competitions.

Super Eagles stars Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo, ex-Golden Eaglets invitee Malcolm Ebiowei and Dapo Mebude are on the books of Rangers.
In my opinion in the HERE and NOW Nnamdi has a lot of development to do before he can get into the SE, there are a lot of players considerably better than him.

I have watched every Fulham game this season, I wouldn't necessarily say Robinson is exceptional at those attributes you listed. I know he is energetic and athletic but you can't say he is exceptional. I believe Sanusi would bench him... Let him start playing national team football b4 we put on the same pedestal with Sanusi..
First of all its your consistent, outstanding club and league performances that get you national team call up.

This is why when a player is in s higher and better club it gives you propulsion to the national team.

When a player does well he gets noticed.

There is a reason Sanusi is not in a top 5 league and or club. In addition we really cannot say how good he is until he plays week in and week out in a better club league against opposition players who are faster, stronger and technically better.

OGA U DON CUM AGAIN OOO. We have defenders playing for porto, hoffenham, rangers, westbrom, twente, watford. So none of them will make a team that is third from buttom in the epl. CLAP FOR YOUR SELF.
Currently Tosin Adarabioyo has improved immensely and I do not see anybody displacing him Balogun, Ekong, Omeruo, Awaziem, Ajayi in the CB position as it stands in the HERE and NOW.

Add to the fact he is much younger than all of them.

Fulham maybe third from bottom but they play a particular style of football that only technically proficient players can thrive in.

I have been immensely AMAZED at Anguissa he has been outstanding for Fulham if he could add scoring to his game he would be top class. The ball seems like it is glued to his foot. And his technical skills are sublime but he also has strength to add to it. Tega Onomah is going to find it near impossible to displace him he will have to UP his game to another Level , Anguissa is currently better.

If you see my write up, I agree that he should be our #1 at the RB infact he is our best RB currently. I was only pointing to some of the obvious lapses in his game.

Regarding the Fulham team, that Sanusi guy would be starting at Fulham..
I disagree.

If Sanusi was so outstanding he would not be playing in the Portuguese league. He has been in the Portuguese league for near 5 seasons. That's enough to generate interest from other top teams and leagues.

It's possible he is still developing and there is more to come. I have watched him a few times he is fast and athletic. But for me he is technically weak, does not have composure on the ball and has a limited passing range for a good technical team like Fulham.

The current left back Antonee Robinson (Jedi) was the subject of £10 million bid by AC Milan when he was at Wigan in League one, but failed the medical.

I don't think he can displace him or even Tete the Dutch international.

Aina is far more technical than him so considering all the different options in Fulham who is he going to displace.

Have you watched how well Fulham play with the ball on the deck❓

Injuries have been on Ebuehi's side and that has hampered his progress a lot, but i still will prefer him over Aina, any day, any time. Ebuehi is a complete fullback, Ebuehi has stability going for him, Ebuehi is a guy that handle pressure, and very good at reading his game.
I like Ebuehi but the truth must be said, he left the lower Eredivisie to go to the slightly higher rated Portuguese league.

He has been VERY GOOD for the SE but has not been outstanding at club level to engineer interest from top leagues and or clubs. Injury has not helped him.

I feel he should have made that RB his own by now.

Most here are the type to praise their governors for building a f***ing road. Others like Komekn demand more and are vilified for it. We love mediocrity a lot and differing opinions are looked upon as being hateful and bad belle. That's the tragedy of Nigeria.
