But there is such thing as goal per min ratio. You choose your narrative based on what side of the fence you want to be.
Thee is no side of the fence. There is just the facts of number of games. It's the same standard l use for all players l talk about. I don't change the yardstick to suit a particular player l like.

If you want to bring into the discussion goal per minute played. Then to be substantive, show the detail and how it brings a better understanding of the situation. So your position can be appreciated and critiqued as well. That's what is called an intelligent discourse fact and objective based.

But the core issue here is the general methodology of football. If you do well in one game you are likely to play in the next game and have more game time . And if you don't do well it's vice versa.

the bone of contention was your assertion that Solanke was better than Osimhen at the time when there was no basis yet for such comparisons let alone saying one was better than the other. reason why i put up your quote apart from bants was to show how premature your conclusions on Osimhen were at the time using drawing unfair parallels with Solanke at the time. you judged Osimhen harshly without appreciating that the boy was coming back from a serious knee injury which affects the performances of the best of footballers. you were expecting a young man from africa to come to a tough german league to start performing immediately whether he was settled in or not. even when he went to belgium you mocked him because of his failed trails without appreciating that he was recovering from malaria at the time.

why I'm particular in calling you out on this is because when it comes to your favourite players you are understanding and become their voltron. the ones you don't like wahala. examples of this are too numerous. with Onyedinma he was too loyal to his club, with iorfa the portuguese mafia and wolves had bad belle for him, with chuks aneke injuries, with solanke you stylishly denied backing him saying he was never interested in Nigeria but you mentioned his name then when he seemed on the up and up.

sometimes as a man you can put your hands and say my opinions about this or that player at the time may have been too hasty. unfortunately your ego and desperation not to lose face won't allow you do that. TheGoodjoe backs Iheanacho 100% but was cool when some posters would tease him with his "drills" and "soaking" comments. you are 100% entitled to your opinions but I'm also equally entitled to disagree especially when your assertions contain obvious contradictions.
First of all the quote is taken out of context without the date.

If you wanted to be balanced you should have considered the post l was responding too.

What you have practiced is what charlatans pastor do to deceive the mob. Taking one verse out of context and then using it as a stand alone to present thier opinion. It's DECEPTION.

The very least you should have done was to show the date in the post.

You are now in isolation trying to justify your position. Moving from one topic to another creating correlation when there isn't any whatsoever. Mixing the cake with everu Ingredients that you can muster.

Again you are MISLEADING

In my constructive criticism l said that Osimhen should drop to Bundesliga 2 and or another League less competitive. Get game time reinvent himself. It seems he read my post and duwd EXACTLY THAT. Bwur of course you would not find that post. And that was over two seasons ago.

You are playing to the gallery of misrepresentations and misdirection.

Then you jump to multifaceted conclusion based on your own perception and opinion.

If l make a position it's substantive not emotive Balderdash.

U just predicted doom for Osimhen because u didn't like u him..same way u don't like Iheanacho. Now the are proving u wrong and U are trying to evade...

Shame on u
I am no longer PERPLEXED this is the level of your understanding.

Solid evidence of what

That over two years ago l said that Osimhen was not good enough. Thats absolutely correct two years plus ago he was VERY POOR. He could not cut it at a struggling Wolfsburg and was a essentially a youth player. And unjustifiably selected and given a invitation to the SE.

Again l use the phrase "AT THAT TIME"

Just as l said two years ago that Fikayo Tomori, Eberechi Eze, Josh Maja , Chuba Akpom were not good enough.

Two years plus and he has improved so also has Eberechi Eze and Fikayo Tomori. I have serious doubts about Chuba Akpom though.

So what's the EVIDENCE let me give you the dictionary meaning because you seem not to know. "The available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid"

From that you have concluded that l HATE the fans favourite here KC and also Osimhen.

So where are the LIES please.

Forget all these English, how can you say he won't make the academy of any EPL club? A player who scored 10 goals at the U-17 WC, no be English academy all these Chong, Saka and other bang average players we dey dey see for EPL graduate from?
This is where we have double standard or maybe we lack understanding.

One iwf my friends came from Nigeria he had played football in Nigeria and national youth level.

I brought him to an EPL academy he chose to watch the U12's not the U23's he was shocked at the level of touch at that age and the training facilities and coaching.

The top academies have players start at age 5/6 by age 9/10 they are training 4/5 times a week including games. Each session is at least 2 hours plus.

"At that time" l watched him play and my opinion was based on comparative standard.

By now you should have noticed a lot of our youth players have deficiencies in thier game when they get to Europe. Not thier fault they did not have the same level of training

Natural ability unquestionably AHEAD but technical ability spatial awareness even touch are questionable. They then have to learn very quickly.

First touch is sometimes everything it's the difference between the best and very good.

This is the season for TRANSFER SPECULATION l expect to see all kinds of crazy stories.

Chuba Akpom to West Ham seems very unlike to me. West Ham need a a good quality striker that will help turn thier season around not Chuba Akpom.

Unfortunately stranger things have happened. I for NEVER believed that Bournemouth would pay £20 million for Solanke. A player that excelled at youth level but has done nothing in the game.

I know his coaches at Liverpool were even suprised.

I do expect too see some serious bids my multiple clubs for Eberechi Eze outside speculation as well as Oviemuno.

Two media stories of interest with regards to Victor and Tega.

Meanwhile l haven't seen any player do this kind of roundabout on the field of play in a long time.

We should have an award for the most disgraceful skill against a players. This by Ovie is my first selection.

You can argue and disagree and not without credence. That's a perfectly justified argument.

I am not giving moral justification for the FIFA definition of " Homegrown "

But it's the legal irrefutable fact.

This is football do you remember when TPI was rife across Europe but now unlawful. But still very much in practice in Africa and Nigeria.

Yes KC has been given lots of minutes in 50 games, is that not similar to posting a story without revealing the date?

There is no correlation what so ever in any way.

One is a self generated statement view point linked to time and not neccesarily a matter of fact but an observation with deduction.

The other i.e. the 50 games is an open irrefutable MATTER of FACT not opinion.

So explain how in your opinion the two totally different subjects have a correlation. Because I see absolutely none.

The number of games you play is factual it's not qualified by how many minutes you played.

For example another perspective, the term supersub is coined from players coming on as sub and consistently having impact whether that's for 5 minutes or for 45.

If you get 5 minutes and you perform you'll get 10 minutes and if you perform again next time you'll get 30 minutes and if you have been outstanding and consistent.

You may become the first name on the team sheet. That's what having impact on the game irrespective of the time does for you. You then become a first team regular. This is very common established practice in football irrespective of location.

But the operative word used maybe you did not see it is RUMOURED.

How many of our players are rumoured not too long ago it was Simon Moses going to Liverpool.

In my experience when it's getting close to January don't take newspaper reports too seriously.

I have also used the media to put reports about a player it's all part of the game.

January is next month.

Lille can not afford to loose Osimhen if he goes thier season is literally over. Unless someone pays crazy money like £50 million plus or thereabouts. Lille will not sell him.

In the Summer a very big probable yes.

Nope. Not at all. Like I had said several times, KC should find a way out of Leicester City ASAP or else they would destroy his career. That dude has not really been given any opportunities to jell with Leicester City team. Once he didn't score in a couple of matches, then it's straight down to the bench! Compare the way LC treated Kelechi with the way Newcastle treats Miguel Almiron. That dude didn't score or have an assist in 25 games but they the team kept faith with him and keep giving him opportunities to change his fortune.

In fact, his assist on Saturday was his first assist for Newcastle since his big money move. Would an African be given such many opportunities to turn things aroundhuh

O pari
Two different clubs with different standards and expectations. You can not compare the two.

Atsu is an African player who hasn't done much in quite a few seasons in Newcastle was literally benched at Everton. But has been given a lot of time infact too much time and he still isn't that great.

KC has had 50 games in the EPL for Leicester and he hasn't performed. That's the cold hard truth there are no excuses or special considerations because he is KC from Nigeria.

Now you probably call that view biased prejudiced and unbalanced. Just call a spade a spade.

He had a good game yesterday is it enough not yet. But he's got a chance to make a claim.

But please remove the idea that he's not been given chances or not treated fairly he has had too many. This is the EPL you don't get many chances.

The very allegation you make you are the chief protagonist of double standard and bigotry.

I don't create an exclusive standard for a player because he is Nigerian therefore his case is different.

It's one standard for all players.

Oh but when KC comes along it is a different standard there are multiple Nigerian players doing good things in thier league.

But l don't see anybody celebrating one goal in a a whole year in their league as if he has just won the Bal on Dor.

That's just blatant favoritism and double standard.

When a text is taken out of context it becomes a CON.

Context is very much time linked. I stand 100% with my view point at that time. That time was over two seasons ago. When Victor was essentially an academy player at Wolfsburg doing NUTTIN.

At that same time l said Chuba Akpom, Tomori Fikayo, Josh Maja and Eberechi Eze were not good enough for the SE. And the latter two unjustified in thier invitation to the SE.

For those of you blinded with negative bias and prejudice. All the players above are what many of you class here as FB. In your attempts to create the principles of tribalism in exclusion of players because they were not born in Nigerian and therefore less NIGERIAN.

They same criticism given to those players l.gave to Osimhen. And it seems he took my advice.

And the COMPLETELY DELUSIONAL HATE MISINFORMATION TAG that l hate all players born in Nigeria and like those born in Europe is a nonsensical proposition with zero substance.

I have said upteen times here, a season is a long time in football and two is history and three is for the archives.

Two seasons ago did anybody believe that Tomori would be a first team player for Chelsea and playing for England ❓ . But that's happened essentially in one good season. Or that Eberechi Eze would be the best player in the Championship ❓ Or that Josh would be the hottest striker in league one ❓

And to think Blueelf announced that we've got him almost with euphoric celebrations simply DELUSIONAL..

That moniker blueeelf has too much excess negative prejudice based baggage to be new here.

Iheanacho has scored whenever he has been involved this season. He is definitely showing signs of a resurgence. He looked very sharp today.
Watched the highlights.

He's been learning to play differently from waiting he is pro actively participating.

He looked faster, sharper his spatial awareness far better and team linkage completely on point. His whole movement very different.

He was VERY GOOD today.

If he continues he will get more game time. However, he can't play as a lone striker that's not his skill set, but when Leicester changed the structure going to a back three.

This give more fluidity to the midfield and the wing backs moved right up playing with two upfront this enabled KC to link up with Vardy. Essentially it was always one or the other Vardy or KC.

I can definitely see him getting more games it's taken him a very long time to get there. He had a good game today he better be consistent and maintain that level of performance. It cannot be a flash in the pan. He has to even improve to claim position.

Because it essentially means Leicester changing thier structure. Going for a back three leaves you somewhat vulnerable. That's why the change came much later in the game.

His next game very crucial.

But call up back to the SE is a long way to go but he's on THE WAY.

In my opinion, the player who should be second to Osimhen at the moment is Dessers. It is an easy choice. Much better than Onuachu and offers a lot of similar strengths to Osimhen.

If Iheanacho starts to get more minutes, he is back in the picture.

I agree with Chriskels, Osimhen, Dessers and Iheanacho
To quote,
Prior to today's game against the Toffees, Iheanacho had not scored in the Premier League since September 22, 2018.

Over one year ago and that's your basis for saying a player has returned to form one goal in the EPL over a year ago.

He has to be playing regularly and showing consistency. And if can't get game he should move to where he can play.

January transfer window is coming good and cunning move by Leicester to get him in the shop window.

but komekn said playing for the super eagles does nothing and will do nothing positive to the careers of those innit guyshuh
but if a German Nigeria can experience some positives how come those borough guys won't see samehuh
Before you use conjecture to mislead and misrepresent my position.

First of all, if a pkayers is doing good things in the Championship and EPL and is outstanding. He absolutely does not need the SE to booster his career.

Playing for England youth and or senior team will add mucch value and bring in very lucrative endorsements from multiple sources in £ millions.

However, if you are unknown and not making any waves in your league and club. Then playing for the SE will get you noticed and give you a possible career boost. For example Iwobi never played one game for Arsenal first team before he was capped for the SE.

On the other hand if you are in Nigeria you ABSOLUTELY NEED the SE to give you access to Europe and the top leagues. Whether that's through the national youth teams or the SE.

In this regard players born and or with nationality status in Europe making waves in thier careers . Will play for thier national team out of desire and honour to thier Father land.

Players like Adekanya, Oviemuno, Ojo, Iorfa, Eberechi, do it out of love for the nation. And have made that very clear.

ok but nacho is better and will do more if he plays in the eirdivisie
It's an assumption not a fact.

Football us not like that.

Consider KC cup games and his goals scored against much lower level opposition. He did not score a hat trick or dominate as a striker.

Look at Slimani almost dead at Leicester goes to Turkey still dead. Then goes to Monaco now being celebrated in French league even rated at one stage more than Osimhen.

Football is not so simplistic or mathematics.

how well did dessers fare in the colors of utrecht? that your dessers no fit measure up with the best in top leagues and i am not wowed with his performance so far.

no disrespect to him and i must confess his stats are mind blowing this season but he is doing that in a mickey mouse league and club. i will only take him serious if he joins one of the big teams in dutch football or any team in one of the top leagues and sustain his form.

heracles abi na wetin na club?
If the Eredivisie is a mickey mouse league and his club. Then what on earth is the Serbian league and Partizan who are about 10 places belowhuhhuh

JUST CURIOUS yet they are so many calling for Sadiq Umar.

Until KC can score at least 10 goals a season on near to that he's not ready for the SE in the EPL. He was poor in his last few games for the SE but that's conveniently forgotten by his fanatical supporters.

I would like to see Dessers at a higher level but hes done enough for an invitation getting selected is another issue. But if he performs you never know.

But you have to show improved form to get called up. I think Rodgers saw his improvement and knew he will come handy. The coach still gets the praise. He's been doing everything right so far this season.
First EPL game of the season and watch how the fans go delirious here.

Is that not double standard too much favoritism for certain players.
