My problem with Aunty Kemi was her NYSC certificate or lack thereof. Actually, I had called for her firing even before the entire certificate scandal.
I don't know whom she gbenshed to get there (probably Tinubu) but I think she was incompetent and totally unqualified for the job.

O pari
Is Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed the current Minister of Finance that has replaced her any more qualified than her. And if not why her❓

Please be substantive and make the comparison with objectivity please.

That's the final question on the matter from me.

If we go down that road.

What about forgery of educational certificate at all levels.

Changing thier ages officially little Egunje and you have wiped 7 years off your age. Retirement is further away.

This is just normal routine practice.

This lady exposed the fact that there were 80,000 ghost workers on the police. The IGP tried to bury the report and has essentially succeeded.

Could this be one of the reasons for her removal.

For me, no more apprentice coaches in national team. You don't start school at the university level.

O pari
Please be substantive.

Because Oliseh and his huge ego failed is not an excuse to taint everyone.

Experience in the context of the NFF means compliance with the status quo.

Now examine the multiple examples l have given of Managers not as experienced and or as qualified as Finidi who were managers of national team in Europe not even Africa.

I disagree with your proposition with objectivity and rational COMPLETELY.

I agree with you on Onnoghen. He was cleared out to make way for Buhari to install his man prior to the presidential election court challenges. Buhari and APC didn't wanna leave anything to chance.

But Kemi Adeosun ought to be fired. She was an airhead who doesn't know anything about the economy
.

O pari
That may or may not be true. Although l have my doubts she went university and is professionally qualified and don't think I would tag her an air head.

However, that's not the issue.

But the manner that she was removed from office. That's the issue. There are many air heads in government and in the NA. Infact there have been a few illiterates.

The issue is that NYSC exemption certificate is not an academic qualification. It's an administrative exercise of attestation to say you are not required to complete NYSC. That's all.

She didn't forg the certificate it was found not be valid. Do you know how many driving licences in the past issued by the official licensing office are invalid. In my estimated millions.

It's also blatant hypocrisy and selective double standard. The President to date has not been able to tender his school certificate. Pot calling the kettle black.

Only in Nigeria.

Sorry I digress but back to football.

What experience did Gareth Southgate have.

What experience dud Rudd Hullit and his good friend FRANK RIJKARD have before becoming the manager of Holland.

Knowledge and innovation are not the first borns of Experience.

Finidi is my first choice.

I don't want him to tint his character, integrity and then INNOVATION, KNOW HOW UNDERSTANDING with the experience of the NFF.

For me appoint him and watch him make Nigeria proud. A man of integrity that is not begging for money or will be influenced by that desire and or sharp under handed practices.

aigbogun who flopped with the flying eagles wasnt he trained and tutored in england before he got his badges?

sunday oliseh after getting his batches coached a third tier club in belgium where he did decently well, moved to fortuna sittard in the dutch 2nd tier and almost took them to the top flight before he left. few weeks ago he turned down an offer to coach in the belgian top flight for reasons best known to him. his CV currently is good enough to secure top jobs atleast in the african continent and the middle east if he decides to apply for jobs again.

all i am saying is that finidi should start from some where first. coaching youth sides of ajax and mallorca i doubt will entice anyone to give him a shot in mens football
I watched Gerrard coach Liverpool U18 mow he is in Rangers.

Kemi Adeosun was sacrificed totally unjustifiably for reasons unknown. NYSC exemption certificate is not a qualification. It's an administrative assessment.

I once got a Nigerian driving licence issued before me in the licensing office. I later found out it was fake. This is something that happens so often in Nigeria it's almost normal.

The vast majority of judges in Nigeria are corrupt IMO it's a question of degree. If you put a search light on all of them l don't think up to 15% will come away scot free.

Oga go and sit down. Oshimeh is a super number 9 now but when he starts underperforming now u will be the first to curse the hell out of his life.

Super talented players do emerge out of the blues in football so there is nothing special with Amunike discovering oshimeh.

The likes of Kanu, Okocha, mikel, Martins, Oliseh, taribo west and a whole lot were all discovered by someone.

Discovering a player is commendable but it doesn't stop their. Hardwork, dedication and determination is needed for a player to enhance his talent to become the best in the world.

If oshimeh remained with wolfsburg till date or maybe ended up in one of the scandanavian league will you clamor for amunike's hiring as the super eagles coach?

Or other coaches that gave the likes of Kanu, and Jay Jay a chance in our youth teams should be offered the super eagles job on a platter of gold?
The term discovered is very ambiguous.

In my opinion the best players are not discovered they perform so well that they essentially ANNOUNCE THEMSELVES and are recognised.

After the run with the youth team, he can get the crack with the senior boys. By then, he will be fully familiar with the crop of the team. From the old boys with Nacho, Success, Osimhen, Chukwueze. Keeping in mind he worked with Keshi for a brief stint (if I am correct). Coupled with the young crop he has raised.

Later Finidi gets his chance to work With Amunike and later take over the team.
I would put in Finidi as head coach immediately no question.

He has nothing to learn from anybody in the NFF or Amumeke for that matter.

Is Gareth Southgate better than him or more knowledgeable. Having Finidi who is not begging for money but wanting to create a name would be the best option.

Anybody familiar with the NFF is more likely to concede to unethical practices and dubious alliances.

Finidi is a Fresh face with no excess questionable luggage.

Story. It does not work that way. There is a lot of bias and preference that goes with the English game.

Is Maguire a better defender than Soyuncu? I doubt but see how Soyuncu was a dishwasher and towel washer last season. Is John Evans better than him? But he did not have a sniff.

What about how Albrighton kept on getting a steady run while Ahmed Musa was playing junior football at Leicester City.

Victor Moses was posting repeated man of the match performances under Conte then with the snap of the fingers he was gone. You think that happens with cutting it?

Is Tominay a better footballer than Fred? But, he will get the nod over Fred any day. What is even helping the English league is the rise of foreign coaches, if not it would have been worse.
There are a lot of English Manager who are very English biased but biased in the sense of racism and preference for a particular type of player that represents the English game.

Sol is none if these.

High altitude didn't stop us frim nearly flogging SA in their backyard , if not for the incompetence of the Linesman. Same with us flogging Lesotho.

Our players are professionals and they play in even more excruciating conditions overseas week in week out, in places with extreme cold, extreme heat and the likes and they know how to balance it.
It's quite obvious you have no idea what altitude does to your stamina.

If you haven't played at high altitude you can become fatigued within 25 minutes. You have game manage or you will simply run out of gas.

You also have not played at high altitude hence your comments.

When i saw the mention darkelf gave you i know today is a good day for you to not only take a swipe at our NFF but to remind us of how corrupt we are, i know that in fact most of us here know that. You have also share your personal experience about corruption while you were here in Nigeria.

I'm not disputing anything you put up here but my only concern is that you have never for once share corruption cases happening in the football association of the English teams is it that there are not corrupt? or they don't engage in sharp practice. If you don't mind I will appreciate it if you share one or two cases
Corruption in English football is in my opinion from experience indepth and widespread.

I will give examples in the public domain and any that has been made public. I could be suggestive without being specific.

Liverpool academy director Frank McParland and head of academy coaching Rodolfo Borrell. Were sacked in one day and told to leave by Brendan Rodgers with IMMEDIATE EFFECT about 5 years ago. For corruption and kick backs and over valuation of players.

Frank McParland got a job within days at Brentford as Sporting director, then he left to Burnley and then Glasgow Rangers and then QPR.

Rodolfo Borrell went straight to Manchester city.

In any other career if you have been caught and sacked for corruption you will definitely not get another job in that sector. At least for some years. But within days both confirmed thieves get jobs in football.

That tells you the nature of environment in which football is administered in the UK.

The only football Manager l personally know that has zero tolerance for corruption is Chris Houghton a true man of integrity . l understand that Wenger is like that but l don't know him personally although I've met him.

There are some things you should know that raises serious questions and not just conflict of interest. Sam Allardyce son is an agent so also is Alex Ferguson son, Moyes and Pep have thier brothers as football agent. Then you start to notice that a lot of Managers sign players from the same agency that represents them.

Essentially in my experience the deal is often more important than the players quality. Till tomorrow l have been baffled how Bournemouth paid essentially £20 million for Solanke a player who has shown potential but nothing more. Why I can't really say.

The corruption starts from youtj football particularly at the club's with big money. They then decide who gets the opportunity. If you are better and there is no money to be made on your transfer and not necessarily by the club then the gate keepers will be deny you opportunity.

First of all football administration in Nigeria is intrinsically POLITICAL.

It mirrors what happens in our elections when it comes to selection of the NFF President. It's just on a small-scale that's all.

There is money to be made and participanys want that money. THATS THE MOTIVATION and has been for donkey years.

Just like in our society l don't think there has ever been a free and fair elections. What we have is degrees of rigging.

So in the course of trying to get to office you sell your soul to the devil and murder all your convictions of righteousness in the process.

Honest trustworthy people may attempt but they will never succeed. IMO

The reality is that the people of a nation reflect it's leadership. We get what we deserve we are too ready to sell our birthright for a pot of porridge.

Amaju may do a few things right like all our politicians do but different degrees. But will fill.thuer very deep pockets in the process.
