Just because of an assisthuh Are you watching the game? He is a chief carpenter, if he likes let him have 10 assists today grin
The term assist can be ambiguous it almost implies that something exceptional was done.

Collins passed the ball in his own half to his left winger. Who ran down the line beating his man then nutmegged the goal keeper straight into the net and it's a goal.

Nothing has changed in my opinion of Collins, he is still not exceptional to be diplomatic.

Collins with an assist as Paderborn are beating Borrussia Dortmund 3:0

This.is.not.a.drill
I thought it was a joke.

But it's true the bottom club Paderborn who have lost 9 out of 11 games so far. Have just ripped up the form book and are flogging the mighty Borrussia Dortmund.

I'm shocked.

I can't see Borrussia getting back into this game Paderborn off the bottom for the first time.

Amazing.

You can't compare Kane to KC come on that's not a comparison.

Bea reasonable in addition Kane may lack pace but he's more adaptable to different styles of football. And he can finish with eyes closed both feet.

Yep... Pace.
I don't think he can be a playmaking number 9 like Benzema is. The good thing is he and Benzema can both play together.
Have you noticed he isn't as mobile as before since his last injury?
I think he can in the world cup he dropped deep lack of pace couldn't keep up with Rashford and Raheem. So he played essentially as an AM creating chances for the faster forwards

This is where Tega Abrahams is going to give him some serious competition for that number 9 role.

Tega too has been consistently consistent over the last three seasons and is getting better. But Tega has pace. I don't know how fast he is because he's so tall and his stride so long. It's only when you see shorter player alongside him busting a gut to keep up that you realise how fast he is.

Only time will tell

Sorry, I used you to make a point. I have learnt my lessons:

1. You're unstable in your opinions and you use big words to cover up your lies.

2. You are so quick to defend anything English even if they aren't Nigerians or even blacks. An English man can hardly do any wrong in your eyes and you go as far as writing epistles to prove your pointless points.

This will be the first and last I will ever mention or quote you bro. You ain't worth my precious seconds. Good luck defending mediocrity. grin grin

Owen's case is a bit different. He had Raul, R9, and Morientes ahead of him yet Perez went and signed him. That move pissed Camacho off.
Owen still had the best goals per minute record in Madrid that season if I'm not mistaken.
Kane sef I'm looking at him with one eye... This last injury he had has taken something from him Sha... Can't put my finger on it.
Kane is an excellent striker.

However, you have to play a certain way too accommodate him. But when you do goals are guaranteed for sure, irrespective of the league.

Only thing he lacks is pace.

In that vein, it is also a possibility that Osimhen will flop if he comes to Tottenham . That's komekn's point. In fact, that reminds me.....Osimhen hasn't scored in his last 4 consecutive ligue 1 matches. I hope the flopping hasn't started already.

But seriously, Osimhen needs a long rest and its affecting his game a little. That's the reason we need a deputy for him in the SE. Unfortunately, even Onuachu is a Professor of Carpentry

Lille management have concerns about Tottenham's appointment of Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho is close to Lille management and there is talk of sports director Luis Campos moving to the Londoners to join the Portuguese.

And Le 10 Sport says Mourinho could well raid LOSC in 2020 to boost the squad he's inherited.

Victor Osimhen, Jonathan Ikoné, Mike Maignan and Boubakary Soumaré could all come under consideration at Spurs Lodge.

Mourinho was a regular at Lille last season and has spoken kindly of LOSC's players while working as a pundit

He will have to use existing players and youth players on the verge of the first team.

Former Tottenham defender Alan Hutton has criticized Liverpool-owned winger Sheyi Ojo over his inconsistent performances for Rangers.

Ojo has been involved in 10 goals (5 goals, 5 assists) from 23 appearances across all competitions since his arrival at Rangers in July.

Speaking to Football Insider on Thursday, Hutton who was on the books of the Gers between 2000-2008 enthused that the Nigerian has yet to truly show the qualities which pushed his manager Stephen Gerrard into bringing him to the club.

"One that springs to mind is Ojo. He's been very in and out, he came with big promise", Hutton was quoted as saying.

"I still believe that he's got all the ability. Obviously Gerrard hand-picked him, you know that he's got something and I do believe he's shown flashes of it.

"I think he needs to be more consistent, at teams like Rangers and Celtic you're a bit under the microscope, you can't just have the one or two good games, it needs to be seven or eight good games out of the ten.

''Maybe that's where he's finding a bit difficult. I'd like to see a little bit more, hopefully we can see more."

The 22-year-old who is spending the whole of the 2019/20 season at Rangers has only been afforded 13 first-team appearances at Liverpool since his debut.

He spent time out in loan with Wigan Athletic, Wolves, Fulham and French club Reims before moving to Rangers.
Agreed without reservation.

He needs to do more although his stats are good.

How can he be capped right now?

1. With the Super Eagles? Will that be possible? Maybe in the future but certainly not now

2. He is 20 years old, so, He is not qualified for the next U 17 category.

3. Still not qualified for the next U 20 category too because he would have been older yet again

4. U 23? Next edition after Tokyo 2020 ? Of course not because he would have been way way over already since the present U 23 failed with the Tokyo adventure

So, which way for him? Now that we are even talking about ABUBAKAR of the U 23 to be drafted to the SE as number 3 behind UZOHO & OKOYE, How easy would it be for him?

But he could make it to the SE though with a consistent display season in season out persistently too.

Good luck to him with the SE adventure though for the Age-grade Supposed non-qualification isn't his fault definitely.
In terms of what he is doing for club and league his quality is better than Uzoho. Who had not attained those accolades before being invited.

Invitation is not selection.

Let him come to camp and let the best goalkeeper be selected, no prejudice.

Ejimadu wins USL Save of the Year Award

https://scorenigeria.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/philip-ejimadu-diving-1140.jpg

US-born Nigerian goalkeeper Philip Ejimadu has put his name in United Soccer League (USL) record books after he won the Save of the Year Award.

The Los Angeles FC goalkeeper, who played on loan at FC Tucson, beat seven other nominees to the award which was decided by votes from fans.

Ejimadu had earlier made history as the first goalkeeper to win the first-ever Save of the Month Award in USL in April with his acrobatic save against South Georgia Tormenta FC.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper garnered 52% of the total vote of 3332 against finalist Ryan Coulter of Forward Madison FC’s 42% of the votes.

Ejimadu’s Save of the Month of August was also nominated for the award.

Other nominees were Pablo Jara, South Georgia Tormenta FC, Dallas’ Jaye, Greenville Triumph SC, Kyle Zobeck, North Texas SC and Akira Fitzgerald of Richmond Kickers

The elated Ejimadu told SCORENigeria he is delighted to win the award which will motivate him more.

“I am delighted to win this award,” he declared.

“It was not easy winning it, it was a close call, but I am happy I won at the end.

“I thank all the fans who voted for me. This will motivate me to do more and get better.”

Bottom line, most of our ex internationals are empty when it comes to game analysis, match reading, and game management.
