charlesemeka85:I will be shocked if thats true, l very strongly doubt it. |
darkelf:Clearly you are not Nigerian. The small reverse Warri comedic expression make you deh vex. My comments is an indictment of the Superdelusuional group who the minute you give constructive criticism of thier favoured players. You are labelled HATER. |
ChrisKels:First of all show that your educated i.e. u go school. You jumped before you comprehended the detail in my submission. No lies, l qualified my statement with the phrase " l am not sure" and with a Question if you had. So there is no lie. But because l am not like you, l apologise for winding you up. |
andrewbaba44:Eéeeeeee be like say U wan turn comedian. Where is Paderborn ❓ Bottom of the BUNDESLIGA. They played 11 games and lost 9 drawn one and had won just one game. This is not relegation form, but a club waiting to be relegated. So his good for his club is effectively VERY POOR. |
andrewbaba44:The question is the Criticism fair and balanced and most of all TRUTHFUL. Tell me something he does that's outstanding. He has been anonymous for club and league and far from outstanding add to that performances for the SE. And it's a no brainer. |
ChrisKels:See Camelion in the daylight. I am not sure but aren't you a member of the Hallelujah group that labelled me a HATER when l said he was a WEAK LINK ❓ |
darkelf:You cannot be Nigerian, the Chukwueze who is speculatively wanted by Barcelona, Liverpool, etc. How can you say that. You must HATE everything that home made Nigerian players have to offer, this is naked prejudice and negative sentiment based bias against Nigerian home grown players. |
andrewbaba44:I know Bournemouth fc very well indeed. They have already wasted money on an over priced essentially youth player from Liverpool in the name of Solanke.Without any commensurate return so far. They will go for tried and tested and or a proven player from the Championship that can fit in seamlessly. So I very much doubt the story. In addition l don't think Chukwueze is a good fit for thier particular hard working style of football. |
charlesemeka85:I have my doubts about that story. Nonetheless, don't think thier style of play will suit him and it's not a club that can afford £40 million easily so it will come with huge expectations. I still doubt the story. |
Icon4s:You are damaging the narrative with spurious presumptions based on your own perception. Because I disagree that the U23 OLYMPIC team should be the basis of selection to the SE. Because that's your core opinion. I have now discredited and denigrated the NFF youth system. My goodness what an intelligent balanced substantive deduction. Chei !!! My opposing approach is about the continued consistent top quality performances in your club and league as the basis for selection to.the SE. Actually my favoured approach is the actual approach the NFF have adopted. So how you who should know better come to make such a deduction. And don't say you know me because you don't have a single idea. |
Philosopher1979:Let me be philosophical like your name. You don't have a comprehensive understanding of the concept of OPPORTUNITY it seems. But you have opened the door on this most important component in life. In life irrespective of the endeavour the most important thing in my opinion is OPPORTUNITY. Then the next thing is what you do with that opportunity. Going to Harvard is about opportunity not neccesarily intelligence. You will need the opportunity to harness, develop, enhance the potential you have. Unfortunately a boy from a very poor background will not have private tuition the best environment and or encouragment to enable him succeed. As a consequence his potential dies almost before its even realised. This is where the issue of OPPORTUNITY must be given fairly not by favoritism but merit. But is even merit a balanced approach that ensures equity and fair play. Why is it that across the world the children of the elite continue to extend thier elitism from generation to generation. In my opinion, it is because they have caged OPPORTUNITY for themselves. They go to the best schools, have private tuition and enhance thier potential by association as well. As a result getting that opportunity for those not so well office like climbing a mountain. It's possible but far from easy. I was opportuned to have an Uncle who was a Permanent sec in the state ministry of education. Scholarships were given to the state by a number of rich donor countries. The purpose was to give those scholarships to the less privileged. Unfortunately much to my horror they gave the scholarships to thier children and the already rich and politically connected. Effectively they had denied those most deserving OPPORTUNITY. KC has been given a multitude of opportunity but has not used it. You are being emotive, 50 games in the EPL and 4 goals is simply FAILURE. There is no way it Canberra dressed up. That idea that he scores every time he plays is delusional. |
andrewbaba44:We talked about the Olympics not U21 and U17. You should understand the historical difficulties with that where England is concerned. And if you don't then remain in your lack of knowledge. |
tbaba1234:Absolutely correct. That approach is reflected in Europe where it's not taken seriously. Once again U23 football is a very low standard to gauge excellence. Most U23 teams in England will struggle with many non league clubs. And l am talking from an informed perspective not hearsay. That's why players are sent on loan and not left to stagnate in the U23's. Look at composition of U23 teams in Africa how many of them can cut it at an EPL academy ❓ How many can make it straight into English league one, etc. Because most can not walk straight into any first tier top 10 league in Europe. So if that becomes the basis of our selection to the SE. We have murdered excellence and enthroned MEDIOCRITY with all its additional sharp practices and corruption. Thankfully it's not the NFF approach. |
Icon4s:Is that your true opinion or its an attempt at surreal comedy. Nonetheless, your favoured approach is designed to enthrone MEDIOCRITY as opposed to EXCELLENCE. In addition your deduction is wrong if l had no knowledge of Nigerian football and it's administration then I could agree with you. The core of our National team emanated from progressive consistent continous top class outstanding performances at club and league. Those performances got them into national set up not thier performances in the Olympics. That effectively is the current policy strategy of the NFF. So on this occasion your deduction is not objective but misguided perception led. Check the stats they don't lie. |
Icon4s:I would say historical past. In contemporary times the national youth teams have given our youth players access and or introduction to European football. However, it is thier consistent continous top class outstanding performances in thier clubs and leagues that have maintained thier positions in the main in the national teams. Unfortunately the larger majority of our youth players have never matched thier dominance at youth level, with commensurate progression in thier professional football careers. KC, ONAZI, I. SUCCESS, have lost thier positions and very rightly so, as their performances at club level have been on a downward spiral. So my observation still stands and has more credence. Your performance at club and league level justifies and ensures your position and or continous invitation to national football teams. |
tbaba1234:You should know that there are many fans sorry fanatic supporters that want the LIE and not the objective truth. The same people will very quickly crucify him when it all goes wrong after hyping him for donkey years on historical past glories. |
ChrisKels:WHY DO YOU TELL LIES BLATANTLY WITHOUT ANY IOTA OF SHAME. You never approach a discussion with substance or objectivity. Then when you are caught out you don't even apologise. Please this is not an insult but you sound like a misguided teenager filled with youthful exuberance. |
Omooba77:But steal billions and impoverish generations of people some yet to be born. And your ok |
M7even:Bruv which link did you use plz |
tbaba1234:It's not excuses. It's downright blatant favoritism. |
Koboko99:That's not the question. Imagine more deserving players who have shown quality and consistency in thier league and clubs. How many goals might they have scored and would the team be struggling in the group or dominating the group. That's how I see it. The opportunity for potentially better players to showcase thier ability has been denied. I haven't watched the matches but l did expect more from Awoniyi although l know he is more of a business transaction for Liverpool as opposed to a major asset for thier first team. |
Icon4s:I disagree completely. U23 is still youth football. U23 can not replace club and league football, players spend night and day training in development tactical and otherwise almost the entire year with thier clubs. You cannot make assessment based on a week or two with national team coaches with the U23. European countries select players to thier U21 squads who have been outstanding in league and clubs. Most of these players have had 2/3 seasons of continous first team football. That's the basis for thier selection. Your club and league form get you selected to the national team. Anything else is an aberration of objective standards for player assessment and selection. |
Icon4s:Unable to live stream. Tried with a VPN to conceal location not having much success. |
I'm going to find the match online. |
charlesemeka85:I have not made one comment about Nwakali beyond his unjustified selection. There is no European Country where a player has not played football for near 10 months and is essentially without club that will find himself selected for national team U23. My reasons is that you will not have the fitness and add to that the match sharpness to compete. You will be a liability in many respects. However, that's speculative but still objective. Nonetheless, l haven't watched anu if the games yet. And until I do it would be unfair to comment. Cam someone please tell me the link for the live stream of the games. |
Joebie:Please tell him. Now If we consider things by comparison our best Midfielder arguably is Etebo. Meanwhile the said Etebo is way behind Eze and Ovie in terms of quality and consistency in the Championship. Imagine then if those two were in the SE. Aribo has proven it beyond all doubt because he was essentially a league one player before he came to the SE. Now he is one of the first names on the team sheet. |
andrewbaba44:I refer to my personal proposition statement for quality. "Its better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league". Nonetheless, the quality of the league and club.still matters and has an impact on players true quality, but everything in context. Did anybody believe that Rangers would beat Porto or Celtic beat Lazio. But the quality of players showed the gulf is not reflective of league. In addition the nature of some leagues means that players from those league will cope better in certain situations. For instance a player who has played in championship will not be faxewf by the physicality of AFCON. However, some players who have been pampered with pretty technical football may indeed struggle. I remember when Yobo left Fenerbache to play at Norwich. He admitted the slow pace and limited quality of the Turkish league had made his..loose his sharpness. |
charlesemeka85:Rohr sef. Did he use Edegbeline to travel the 450 miles to London from Glasgow on bad roads. It's not Abuja to Lagos Road haba. No he did not, 45 minute flight to Heathrow to from Glasgow then that same evening first class flight to Lagos. Arrives refreshed he will not flu economy. The wahala starts in Nigeria, delayed flights, bad roads, etc that's when he might get a bit fatigued. Otherwise he is good to go. |
ChrisKels:How can Edegbeline pain me. Just tongue in cheek sarcasm. |
Abusule007:Link please |
Koboko99:Misinformation. Dominic Iorfa was a playing for England U21 had been invited to England first team when he was 19. He had not at this time secured his long term contractual football future. He very wisely said he would play for Nigeria when he gets too 23. That's where the matter ended. When he had got too 21 and had secured and signed a long term contract with Wolves. In late 2016 he committed to play for Nigeria at the age of 21. He actually honoured his statement but with more honour by committing 2 years earlier. Rohr visited him in March 2017 and made commitment to him. However, for reasons unknown the NFF have been very silent. Somewhat similar to what the NFF have done with Eze. Invited him to training made promises and then forgot him for two and half years. With these events in mind, l ask you who then is lacking in INTEGRITY and HONOUR ❓ ❓ |
andrewbaba44:I talk lie or l talk any untruths or anything misleading. Please tell me. Dont forget he is now one of the best CB's in the Championship. |

No worries once we qualify for the Olympics we will invite the 'deserving ones' amongst them to boost the team
