If he can't dribble or do that thing kalu did to that two Ukrainian defenders, then we don't want him...
There was this Ghanaian player that played for Arsenal was a bag of tricks skill highly entertaining but end product limited. He did not go far as a result.

Look at Raheem, Gabriel and Sana do you see them dribbling up and down its almost always quick pass interchange and movement at top speed and pinpoint delivery.

You can see that Mahrez had stopped all his Shakara football and dribbling for effective end product. Otherwise he will build house on the bench.

Just like Bolasie lots of trickery but not matched with end product.

How many goals and assists has Kalu got this season and or last season. That's the main koko, end product.

Ideally, a top professional side should not be losing to an academy whether regulars or B team.
Quite a few years ago l was involved with a private academy.

We played Stoke Fc U18 we beat them playing on the deck technical football. We also played several other academies and we beat them.

Incidentally the team was about 90% black and after a while no professional football academy would play us.

Komekn the CEO of double standard limited
Football is a short term career it's not long term.

All assessments will be about the HERE & NOW that is to say Current Form. It's possible form may change but until it does you should be forgotten. You are not in consideration it's simplistic.

What is double standard and bigotry is too talk about players who aren't performing based on past exploits.

For instance l haven't talked about Onyedinma for nearly two years ➕ plus. Because he is no longer perfoming it's possible he still has it. But that must be proven on the field of play not in your biased mind.

However, l talk about Tomori a lot more now since last season when he destroyed the Championship. I don't talk about Tega Onomah currently and even Chuks Aneke because they aren't being outstanding currently the may do with time.

I talk about Osimhen because he has performed but did not when he was doing nothing at Wolfsburg.

Now if that's your idea of double standard then Eéeeeeee be like say there is no light in your village and your too use too darkness.

Professionally Ojo has played 78 matches across 6 clubs bro, against Chuk's 38. Yes another left footed winger(a back up to Chuks) is needed but, Ojo should watch it, Adekanye might just knick it.
Adekanya is more like Chukwueze than Ojo, filled with trickery and a very good turn of pace the first few yards blistering . It's his end product that's very very suspect.

Aribo's case if different. Currently in the super eagles we lack good cm so that made it easy for the lad to get a look in.

In ojo's case he is way down the pecking order judging by the talents we have in the flanks.
Most people did not rate Aribo in fact dismissed hin with abuse. He also was way down the pecking order.

Now they have all done u turns, why because he performed way beyond all expectations. We are now saying he can contend with any of our midfielders including Ndidi. It was not because there was no CM in the SE.

Without opportunity you can not perfom, so l don't think anyone can conclude that any of the existing wingers are better than him comprehensively. Until he gets opportunity to play in the SE and is tested.

U didn't say this last season when he failed to make it at Reins...
Why should l he was having an abysmal season and played rubbish in France.

So there was nothing to say then now there is , you talk about players in form not failing and doing nothing.

But he is now. Bit confusing he has been consistently above average in the Championship with Fulham Wolves and a few other clubs goes to France and he just flopped.

I am also disappointed with Maja expected him to take his form from league one to the French league. But he has not been so impressive. Unlike Osimhen who has kicked off what he started at the Belguim league.

Admittedly it's early days yet let's see how things progress.

Am talking about Ojo
I think for many here top class football is about show boating and dribbling and end product not high up.the scale of expectations.

Ojo is not very skillful or filled with a lot of trickery.

However, his end product is very good his work rate is very good, he got physicality as well as blistering pace.

Is he good enough for the SE l would say yes he is left footed. Is he better than what we have, that's a never ending debate and difficult because he's never been given a chance at the SE.

Kudos for this beautiful statement bro... can you just imagine someone wishing a player from Serbia is invited just because of one good game and a goal. He's suddenly become a masterclass.
It is on the same level as someone calling for KC to be in the SE as a quality option. Which quite a few people here have said.

Particularly when you consider that he has been found wanting by three consecutive Managers at Leicester.

Yet people talk about him being off form. You can not be off form for three seasons.

If Olayinka is the stand out player in that league and for his club. Then l will rather have a confirmed consistent Lion in a lower league than an anonymous mouse in top league and club.

I have not seen Olayinka play nonetheless l have no problem with him being called up. Let him be tested and if proven to be good enough then his invitation should end in selection.

we need players who are hungry and ready to use what they've got to their own advantage
I really can't contend with your view.

Because l haven't watched him with any depth.

Nonetheless, when he played for the SE he had Aerial dominance impressive hold up play and was quite good technically speaking.

So l still think he is a prospect not necessarily outstanding but he has not been given much opportunity to show what he can do.

Very good point. But I think asides the AM position we also need someone who can play as a supporting striker in case the team for any reason wants to switch to a 4-4-2. Peter Olayinka can potentially be a good addition here. It is still early i know. But if he brings that kind of game again in his next game. I suggest he be invited in the place of Paul Onuachu.
I really am disappointed that Ebere Eze was not invited the term being used here is that he can deputise for Iwobi.

That may be true but one thing Iwobi lacks is a hot shot and he has scored in Everton at by his standards now a phenomenal rate. His goal rate is not prolific.

I think Eze who can shoot instinctively with real venomous accuracy brings that to the SE. I would add ruggedness and a good degree of trickery and skill.

I don't know what we are waiting for.

Paul Onuachu is not adding anything to that team. IMHO if Olayinka gets another good game close to the last one he had then he should replace Onuachu.
I would disagree with you albeit not completely.

First of all when you have a player like Onuachu you must play to his strengths otherwise it's a waste of time and don't invite.

We have neither given him enough game time and or played to his strengths. When you have a player with such aerial dominance and dominating hold up play.

He needs crosses on the box for him to capitalise upon
Our wingers unfortunately have a limited ability to cross the ball and or choose not too instead seeking self centred glory for themselves cutting in and making wayward shots.

Osimhen should take last night's result as a learning curve. His hold up play might still need work but his pace (boy is faster than i thought), aggressive and good running of the channels are impressive. if i were victor i would buy dvds of etoo and aubamayeng guys who are not heavy on hold up play but have sharp movement and shoot at the first sign of asking
Exactly what l said but I felt he could learn more from Vardy style of play, although l mentioned Aubmeyang.

Osimhen has limited technical ability and is poor on 1 to 1 dominance using skill and trickery.

grin this thing don dey pass obsession o, you and goodjoe I don't know who dey obsessed pass about the love of their lives
The first thing l am highlighting is the competitive nature of the English league. And the competitive nature of the Championship.

Moses Odubanjo is finding his way back to his previous form after near two years of injury, that's not easy at all.

Unlike TheGoodJoe and his love for KC which is not based on objective current performances.

So where is the similarity?

I don't think that Dominic Iorfa is one of the best defenders in Europe. Or use statistics to misrepresent the objective deduction.

Infact my view check past posts is that he is not technically astute. But in terms of physicallity speed and strength then he is on par or exceeds our defenders in the CB role. However, you can have these attributes and not be a good defender.

The only possible top CB defender we may have currently now is Fikayo Tomori the rest are all average including Dominic Iorfa. Who is better among these our defenders is open to never ending debate.

Dominic Iorfa is playing his preferred position under Monk. So let's see how far he will progress the season is young.

I say this from watching Fikayo Tomori up close and personal playing RB two seasons ago he was at best adequate. Now one season at Derby and everything had changed he is now benching seasoned pros.

Before the season started the prejudiced gang declared that Tega, Fikayo would be permanent bench warmers. Well they have all gone quite now.

The English league system has been the most competitive for quite some time.

Huddersfield got relegated last season from the EPL and within 7 games they are second to the bottom if the Championship with Stoke now at the bottom.

What you will notice that these two clubs still have the larger part of thier squads from the EPL. The idea that you get relegated from the EPL and bounce back immediately is not so easy.

I feel sorry for Etebo because unless his team starts to perform it will affect hus rating as well. And it's difficult to perform if your team is not perfoming too.

Meanwhile Huddersfield got beat by Sheffield Wednesday with two Nigerian origin players in the defence. Moses Odubanjo at RB and Dominic Iorfa at CB his preferred position.

Oga Komekn u are among the few I respect so much in this forum but ur post of late have been disappointing and I'm sorry to bring that to your notice.

Are you telling me that the wisest thing for Rohr and the nff management to do is to fill the super eagles with unproven talents just because they are scared of losing them to their European counterparts? For christ sake Eze was invited to train with the team in Barnet few years ago and Rohr took notice of his talent and penciled him down for the future.

Eze was doing well as the season started then but at a point he lost form. So you would have welcomed the invitation of a bench warmer from the championship to the super eagles then when the team is working hard and preparing to assemble a team for the afcon?

Eze is still young and very talented no doubt but he needed more to get a chance in the team then, the good thing is that he is doing marvelously well and if he sustains his form he will be not just a member of the team but an integral part going forward in the future. He is one player I love so much and won't want to lose to England but he needs to be consistent.

Also he has featured for the English u20 so he needs to be cleared which will take little time to conclude by fifa and the two FA's involved.

Coming to the claim that the nff and super eagles coaches demand for 'egunje' from the lads before they can get a chance in the team that is lies and I will advise you to stop making such claims. If such was obtainable in the current eagles set up and pinnick's administration the a player like semi ajayi would have bought his way to the afcon. Such practices took place few years ago when we had local coaches but currently I have not heard of such.

The egunje issue is possible in our youth teams with so many cases as evidence but in the current super eagles setup its not applicable.
Double standard and bigotry at work in the NFF.

At what stage of Alex Iwobi career ws he invited to the SE. At what stage stage was Victory Osimhen invited to the SE the same goes for the Nwakali brothers.

Sometimes players are invited to camp to have them checked out and give them a sense that they are valued. Classic example is Walcott and of course our own Dominic Iorfa.

Invitation is not selection but it sets the pathway for a fruitful relationship and sense of belonging. The NFF failed woefully in this regard to create relationship.

Finally, l can tell you that no SE player will divulge the ongoing in the SE in the public domain.

They may tell me but not the media.

I know without a shadow of doubt that with regards to Sone Aluko a particularl bull of a coach demanded he use his agent and take up options in Turkey then he will be recalled to the SE.

There are several other situations but l will not go into that. You never know when virtual turns too reality don't want any legal ⚖ issues.
