Players are loosing composure. Chukwueze needs to pass to team mates in better positions. |
Oh no a goal one goal another goal again Forgive my bias but as a substitute for Iwobi Esiti he doesn't add anything. He seems to lack mobility and is too heavy. IMO he upsets the rhythm. It's now 2-2 game had changed COMPLETELY |
Kalu has been ok but end product very suspect. Bringing in Simon is more of the same we don't learn anything new. It's time to see what Maja can do the winning is good but testing out new players should be also be important. |
charlesemeka85:I disagree with you. I think he has made a few gaffs but his approach play and contribution to offensive play have been excellent. On the other hand look at the left from Jamilu ok defending but approach play and contribution very limited. The revelation for me is ARIBO he has been so far for me the MOTM a complete fusion of defence and attack. Look at how many times he has intercepted or tackled but then turned it into attack simply excellent. Iwobi is balling no doubt but l am looking more at new entrants to the team. |
Where can I watch the match oh please plžzzzzzzz Live stream ❓ |
rabzy:When we reach England we turn SCARCE na so the darker the better. Lol |
Joebie:Ajayi played as a CB from youth football at Charlton and also at Arsenal youth and non league. Rotherham decided to make him a CM because it fitted I'm with thier kick and rush style with aerial balls and he is also very tall. He had gone to West Bromwich and he is back playing CB. So it's a position he probably more familiar with |
tbaba1234:I have NEVER used youth football as a measurement if quality particularly when.you ate no longer a youth. It's just futile |
Anybody know where the match can be watched online. |
andrew444:Thank you |
Earthquake1:What was Uzoho when he went to the World cup ❓ You are creating double standard comparatively. Maduka should start in my opinion. |
charlesemeka85:He defends when he as too and quickly goes from defence to attack. That requires his team mates to be cohesive when he moves forward to fill in. That's an active fluid and effective midfield not a robotic one. |
Prectega:Check all my posts if l have said one derogatory word against Rohr. German biased yes but never anything to suggest sacking him. I am realistic we do not have many top class players to call on. If we win today it's a bonus. But it's more about trying out players IMO. |
CaptainStephen:I have never understood this fixation with mixed race guys by our female. At the sight of these guys they go completely gaga. There were quite a few of my cousins and friends who were mixed race in the UK. When we all got back to Nigeria they became like celebrities. I remember going out with them and l was like a ghost. None of the female could see me. However, when we all came back to England mata change. Na we come get d power here. Complete U turn in the socail dynamics. |
Earthquake1:Considering the players invited it's a friendly so I would expect a least 6/7 substitutions. We already know what Uzoho can do and this is an area of great concern the goal keepers, so l would prefer to see Maduka, and let's see his quality after all its a friendly. Winning is not that important but trying out players to see what options we have. This is a European football team and so the issues of limited physicality do not come into play for Osimhen as claimed by Rohr. So it will good to see what he brings. We need a more inventive midfield unfortunately Ebere is not there to be tested. Nonetheless, l look to see Aribo play the DM role but with more attacking prowess and drive. We know what to expect from Iwobi, Chukwueze. Etebo and Kalu so it's simply more of the same. Not sure where to watch the match anybody know❓ |
Odunayaw:This is a very serious topic. We are not discussing Call of duty on PS4. I may have misconstrued your tongue and cheek reference to the Pink panthers and it hit a wrong painful chord with me. I apologise profusely. The Pink panthers are a relic of WW2 but the genesis of the Snatch Land-rover (mobile coffins) which was deployed in Afghanistan. It had protection from light arms and some limited protection from IED'S but over all wholly inadequate. 37 British service men died in those " Snatch Land-rover vehicles , there was a parliamentary enquiry, public and political national outcry at the highest levels. As a consequence the vehicle was totally retired and has been for over a decade. It was the fore runner that birthed the MRAP and other variant vehicles from the same theme. The British army now uses the Jackal, Ocelot, Foxhound, Buffalo, as we as other LAV like the Panther. There is also a whole range Of IFV's and much improved to deal with IED's. However, the pertinent issue is the national outcry about the loss of combatants because of inadequate equipment. 37 soldiers died. In 2013 the supreme court allowed families to sue the MOD for compensation for thier children lost in battle. A parent tookit even further demanding an apology. All the family received compensation from.the MOD. This whole outcry and the value placed on very precious human life and gallant soldiers. Caused the entire top brass to sit up or be sacked and face prosecution for wilful negligence on account of the loss of combatants lives. Again consider the number 37 soldiers died. And see the response. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-40958686 Now let's make a comparison this about our moral Swanland national conscience. Compare the multitude of Toyota gun trucks, Toyota Hi lux, Ford Rangers and Innoson ( Chinese assembled) pick trucks. To the mobile coffins that changed the fave of the entire British army and which is better. Now consider the number of our highly prized combatants that have lost thier lives because of poor protection in these pick up trucks and other not fit for purpose armoured and light skinned vehicles. Why do you think Boko ambushes are so painfully successful against us ❓ . But then look at ourselves how Perverse are we ❓ we said NOTHING and we did NOTHING. Our big belle Legislative houses failed comprehensively in thier oversight function. The media failed and we as a people failed.I have been to Abuja and watched our Senator demand for bullet proof armoured land cruiser and similar to ride around the relative serenity of Abuja. While our highly prized gallant soldiers go into the combat zone on soft skinned vehicles. Do you know how many billions of Naira is spent on armoured vehicles for our politicians. And how much on.our soldiers. I could talk about the CORRUPTION that under pins our military procurement. But that's for another day. We have FAILED me included our brothers, sons, uncles, Fathers and sometimes daughters mothers who wear the uniform to protect the nation. They have no voice and when the speak out they are welcomed with court martial.
|
Odunayaw:Mistake NORTH EAST |
Odunayaw:The very heavy and unacceptable casualty rate of the NA can be explained primarily by the overwhelming use of soft skinned vehicles. We send our highly prized special forces combatants on very expensive training courses across the globe. Then when they return we stick them in the back of a soft skinned pick up right in the heart of the kill zone. I am not sure if the NA has a definitive IFV. |
Odunayaw:I didn't even know the sten gun was still in service by anybody. One if the things I find very disheartening is the complete and total lack of knowledge of our oversight national legislative committees exercise of compliance and accountability with what's going on in the south East. |
Olulong:This a player many on here have said is better than many of the players laying in Europe. How can someone a regular for the SE playing in obscure Israel, now drop to Indian league (if that's true) that is telling us something about his quality. Even with the SE he has not been able to progress his career upwards. |
Covert1:To say something is better and or superior quality there is a need for comparison you do not stand in isolation and determine superiority. So considering our GDP, size and population who are you comparing Nigeria too Togo or Ghana ![]() |
bidex111:I stopped contributing on this particular thread until i can actually do something positive otherwise i am just making noise. However, seeing this picture takes me back many many many years ago to my old cadet regiment in the UK ,the sten gun is relic from WW2 that's how old it is, it was one of my first guns i was introduced too. The range is effectively about 100 meters even within that its not great it has very little precision beyond that , considering the lightweight 9mm round it carries. Shocking is not the right word i am shocked by many things but to give this too combatants i am lost for words. |
charlesemeka85:Agreed without one iota of reservation Can l add that another reason NFF officials may not take kindly to Nigerian origin players in Europe and or the UK. Is that thier careers progression is not anchored on national team selection. As a result, Nigerian origin players will not concede too demands for appreciation and or gratification essentially Egunje. On the other hand Nigerian born and sourced players will almost do ANYTHING and concede to any DEMANDS our local NFF coaches will place on them.in order for national team selection. The sad truth. |
tbaba12345:Thank you Spain, Germany, Brazil, Italy, England, etc have football culture that is expressed on the field of play as thier style and methodology of playing. What is the Nigerian one ❓ People need to understand that thier is huge gulf between senior first team football and youth football. We keep using youth football to assess players ability in the present it's FUTILE. In today environment most progressive national U21 teams will have played at least two seasons of first team football at a competitive level. Selection has one yardstick ability not assumption about loyalty. If Nigerian birthed and sourced players were good enough and they could change loyalty and get the passport of another first world nation immediately. How many of our players would have changed allegiance. Think about it. The source of this particular discourse not you is being BIGOTED and Prejudiced. |
Prectega:Iwobi never had an England future. |
arinze198:Sometimes you wonder what kind of Republic we have and judiciary. Is there one law for the rich and another for the poor or are we operating to different systems of law in the one country. It was not too long ago that a sitting Senator l.have forgotten the paedophiles name. Someone can remind us. Brought to Nigeria a 14 year old Egyptian girl as his wife in attendance where all the who is who of our political elite. How many girls have been forced into marriage at the age of 13/14 in Nigeria. Look at the incidence of Obstetric fistula in Northern Nigeria the highest in Africa if not the world. So this particular judgment is hypocritical and snacks if bigotry. The young man is not entirely excused but the system is now pickin and choosing. And picking on the poor. It's similar to the EFCC targeting the inexcusable "yahoo boys " and aligning itself with the FBI. Meanwhile after the much exposed and we'll documented " Halliburton Bribe Scandal " which indicted multiple very high level official all the way to the presidency. A British lawyer's been convicted in the matter. But did the Nigerian hover decide to partner with the FBI to arrest all these corrupted official and send them off to the USA, where there will be no option to bribe judges resulting in an almost certain conviction and sentencing of multiple government officials and thier wives who are also involved. No nothing happened and nothing will happen. This is NIGERIA. |
kennysville:Bruv no be my fault say u no go school. Or go and see the Doctor it seems you are suffering from Sesquipedalophobia. No vex beeco. |
Danielnino00:Chukwueze has not attained the consistency to claim a jersey in Liverpool. It's not impossible but highly unlikely the EPL is very unforgiving and you don't get a lot of time. La Liga is statistically the best league in the world by virtue of Real and Barca who have for decades dominated and won everything going more or less. It is not the most Competitive league in the world top. My view he should wait till the end of the season and if his performances go up so will his value. On the other hand his performance may not get higher and his value may go down not up. He is well known in La Liga heno longer has the element of suprise. So it's difficult to be conclusive football is never that simple. If l was advising him then l will use the January window and follow the £££££. If any of Salah or Mane get injured Liverpool will desperate Shaqiri is not fast enough. They need a good winger he will go for £22 million plus that's quite cheap by thier stand that will give him a good run of games. There is nobody in the U23 that can compete with Chukwueze in my opinion. I watched the U23 get Comprehensively flogged by some Pounded Yam and skilful players from Manchester city 1- 4 it could easily have been more. So it seems Villareal may be tempted to sell sooner rather than later. And take advantage of all the circumstances or even manipulate the situation. This is the business of football. |
TheGoodJoe:Please now you are being comical and exposing yourself for public ridicule. Football is a short term career and the EPL is very competitive time is a very scarce commodity. 51 games and now third season and you are saying he needs a TRUE TEST. It's like saying you need to test drive a car for three years before you know how good it is. |
TheGoodJoe:You earn the right to play it's not a mandatory. That right to play is about what you do on the field either it be for 10 minutes or for 90. If you perform you get given MORE opportunity if you don't you get LESS. Dominic Iorfa is not part of the discussion no bias no prejudice TOTALLY DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES. One was EXCLUDED and the other failed to perform. |
charlesemeka85:In my opinion not a good move. He is not proven and has not got enough consistency to claim position in Liverpool. It's too much of a risk. He is better off staying in Villareal and developing never two seasons increase his capacity and quality as well as gain more consistency. Then the big money move will come. I remember Bobby Adekanya came from Barcelona with great promise as a teenager. Three years layer he has left to Lazio never kicked a ball for Liverpool first team. I remember when Jordan Ibe was a teenager playing for Liverpool. He was doing better than Chukwueze now but fast forward to today he's slowly going into obscurity. |
