saheedbadmus:They should start from the top. These are just easy targets for them. |
jargooflife912:10 years ago this Rabui was the projected hier apparent to the throne of JJay. I had great EXPECTATIONS for him. Then he left Sporting to PSV and has just been largely anonymous since then. Quite sad. |
andrew444:Do you mean that Stoke is far superior to whatever club in Istanbul ❓ Although I would say it's open to Debate particularly if it's Galatasaray and or Fenerbache. You did not actually say which club. |
Menusvan:What do you want to show him? How to eat starch and Owo or how to dance Shaku Shaku. |
junnyjake:How the mighty have fallen, looking at Benteke a guy that was banging in goals for fun. Then he decided to upgrade go to Liverpool for big money he did Ok in the first two seasons but it's been down hill ever since. His time at Crystal Palace has been ABYSMAL. How can a player be so good and then become so bad in such a short space of time. It's very difficult to understand. Admittedly most teams are not playing to his strengths but it's still very difficult to explain. |
andrew444:Please explain I'm curious to know |
Barryseal:I agree there is a good degree of double standard. However, with regards to Omeruo and Ekong it was thier muted exploits in Europe and most definitely youth national team glories that gave them the opportunity for the SE. The question is how do you measure quality in a player. The quality and league you are playing in are clear indicators. However, they are not absolutely conclusive. That's why l stick to my never ending football quality selection proposition. Which is ; It's better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league. The question is he outstanding in that league ❓ l also think you cannot compare scoring 10 goals in the EPL to for instance scoring 30 in the NPFL. So let's always keep matters in context. |
andrew444:Consider the bold and look at yourself in the mirror. Rationality will require logic, objectivity and methodology. First of all you should state the players l have suggested that are MEDIOCRE and why. You have implied Fred Onyedinma. When was the last time l called for his inclusion ❓ Actually two seasons ago. I very graciously gave you a indepth history lesson on the subject and why my position changed. So to talk about him is HIGHLY IRRATIONAL on your part. Finally, I was born in the UK but made in Warri. I don’t know about Warri, "I be area" That's why many moons ago l was trying to get Etebo and before him Mba linked to EPL clubs. So I still operate on ground level. |
Humility017:In attempting to throw aspersions on a person or idea it's better to be methodical and objective. State your position from a standpoint of knowledge. I don't know if you are still in secondary school and as a result you lack capacity to present a substantive based approach to your arguments. You seem filled with youthful exuberance but very little intelligence. And certainly over taken by emotive sentiment and prejudice. But let's be constructive state why you think he is a good quality addition to the SE in comparison to other players. Since we are talking defenders compare him to Fikayo, Odubanjo and Dominic. That approach will have you considered to be intelligent as opposed to the opposite. You are still yet to PROVE YOURSELF RIGHT in the last tirade of emotive based allegations you made. You have obviously conceded DEFEAT and gone into EVASION. |
tbaba1234:This is ludicrous, how can you be talking about three seasons ago it's TOTALLY IRRELEVANT. Unless there is upward progression it's essentially nonsense. |
Barryseal:How long ago was that please ❓ Because l simply can not remember l do recall a very outstanding Etebo at the Olympics. |
andrew444:This is disappointing from you. even when l disagree with you l still get some level of rationality although it may be deviously twisted. Players dont remain consistent in one level of performance it's either up or down. l haven't talked about Onyedinma for two seasons. IMO his misplaced emotive loyalty to Millwall has caused his career to have lost momentum. Two seasons ago when Ian Holloway was Manager after leaving Millwall tried to buy him for QPR and also Watford an EPL team put in an offer for him. He declined both offers. Then decided to stay with the quintessential kick and rush, blood and guts English Manager Neil Harris at Millwall. Very ill-advised decision. His good friend now being celebrated was still at Millwall Fast forward things got so bad that Fred, I commend his boldness refused to play for Millwall and Harris. Deciding to go on loan to league one with Wycombe Wanderers than stay at Millwall playing police game instead. He has now made that move permanent. I know that he is playing good football and he is rising upwards. In a sense stepping down to step up it is a wise move that should pay in the long term hopefully. However he has not done enough to merit a call to the SE in my opinion. That's why l haven't talked about him for two seasons. I haven't said he is not good enough just not done anything to justify a call up. Unlike many here who still talk about past glories for player inclusion and historical achievements, I SIMPLY DO NOT. If that's your basis for indictment historical notification then i am very guilty. Having all these facts not suppositions, what on earth had Fred Onyedinma got to do with the discussion as it stands now. ? ❓ ❓ I think you are being comical unlike however unlike us "Warri Pikin" you are simply NOT FUNNY AT ALL. In case you considered a career in comedy. One more thing l challenge you to mention just one MEDIOCRE PLAYER I HAVE CALLED FOR |
Barryseal:Now you are being unnecessarily sarcastic but also immature. What is your point ❓ Do you think Azubuike us better than Ovie and Ejaria ❓ ❓ |
charlesemeka85:He haa played 37 games of professional first team football he is nearly 22. I find it hard to look at that as outstanding quality his parent team is not a team bustling with top quality players. So he will have OPPORTUNITY bit it seems his quality is in doubt. Why then is there so much interest in him by the NFF, is there something l am missing. ❓ |
zoboizee:What do you mean by the bold ❓ Has this player played any games for the SE❓ and if he has tjat doesn't mean he is better than Ovie and Eze. Finally, Eze and Ovie have been waiting for national team call up without response to date. |
Barryseal:If he is that good then he should be Outstanding in the Turkish league. And if he has been consistently outstanding with top quality performances why is he still playing in Turkey ❓ |
Fulham vs Southampton With two Nigerian origin players playing Tega and Obafemi. Although Fulham is a Championship side they are a better footballing side than Southampton. I think Southampton will win by a goal but it will not be an upset if Fulham win. |
Clint02:18 year old younger brother of Tammy Tega Abrahams who plays for Fulham. |
charlesemeka85:Quite a long time ago. I asked for a comparison to be made on the assumed quality attributes of the German origin defensive players all three of them Udokhai, Torunarigha, Akpoguma and Dominic Iorfa. There was hell fire and brimstone name calling and vitriolic rhetoric. But nobody ever attempted to look at these players. All three of the German players rejected calls to represent Nigeria. Dominic Iorfa has never REJECTED Nigeria only made a very diplomatic proviso that he will commit when he got to 23. He actually committed at 21 resulting in a visit from Rohr in March 2017 but no call up to date. There has always been a BIGOTED DOUBLE STANDARD on this subject. Look at the number of games these guys have played and they are way behind Dominic. But many are blinded to these facts but picking up on hearsay as facts. |
OMANBALA1:Midfielder is a generic term and to term a player as DM or AM or CM is to limit the player and to restrict the team. Depending on the team players will play multiple roles as a reflection of the opponents and the players in the team. I recall when Eto played as a Left back to neutralise the threat of Gareth Bale in Champions league game many years ago. Players are versatile and dynamic you are being way too narrow in your view. |
Icon4s:My guess without looking they larger majority are all playing in Portugal? ❓ Not sure why but l know a League one club was considering setting up an Academy there. It was between Guinea and Guinea Bissau. |
safarigirl:Yes they do. I use to know one if thier players that left Portugal and ended up at Everton but he struggled with physicality and could not make impact. But he signed a long contract so he was OK financially. We use to use the same personal trainer. I think he us now in Sweden we called him Junior. They have a lot of players in Portugal. There is some kind of either unspoken or official arrangement that allows them to get Portuguese passports very easily. As a result the route to European football is very easy for them. |
andrew44444:There are players that have made a career from making use of the few minutes they get. That has propelled them from super sub to first choice. Slimani come Leicester in 2016 for £28 million with great EXPECTATIONS that simply were never achieved. 2015/16 season for Sporting Lisbon he scored 27 goals from 33 games that's a PHENOMENAL ACHIEVEMENT. However, scoring 8 goals from 35 goals can not be dressed up as satisfactory after the money Leicester paid out for him. Shockingly he went on loan to Fenerbache and played 15 games without a goal he also played 4 games for Newcastle without a goal. His time therefore without fear of contradiction in the EPL with regards to expectations and level of investment ABYSMAL. I don't why you are getting all heated call a spade a spade. |
Joebie:Is this the same Slimani that left Portuguese football on a high. Then came to Leicester city and left on a very low❓ |
andrew44444: |
Mcreloaded:Very much doubt it. Niger already has allowed the US to have a Drone base on thier territory and a number of special forces units in operation there. If the US wants to bring in some JLTV's it can drop them off at its air base in Niger. You can get about 15 JLTV in a C5 transport. So they USA have no need to be transporting thier JLTV on the roads. |
FSolar:The pics are not great but from my view they look like the USA made Oshkosh JLTV. They can be classed to to some degree as MRAP but a lot lighter and much more manoeuvrable. These items can be procured directly from the USA however looking at them they seem used and therefore l will be looking at a number of Arab countries. That opens up a whole can of possibilities if the right process of procurement wasn't followed. My suspicion is that they have been procured by an Islamic majority Northern state government with friendly political links with Saudis and or Emirates. Just my speculation. |
safarigirl:This the reality and if you look at short term gains may be all it will be. Better at a club that will give you progressive development that leads to OPPORTUNITY. |
andrew44444:It will be very difficult to get a forward thinking and progressive Championship club to take him. Second problem he is on huge wages and a long term contract. Best bet is to go abroad and with a massive cut in his wages, will he agree to that? |
Danielnino00:When three consecutive managers are saying more or less the same thing if not by diction then certainly by action. Then you know it is more or less proven fact. But some will hold on to fantasy and delusion and term it fact. |
Humility017:EVASION, AVOIDANCE, AWOL, ESCAPISM Your proposition is based on your perception you can't use your self birthed notions to make a conclusion. You can't decide from your own mind what some one has said. You create a lie and then you believe it and then you promote it. So once again I challenge you to screenshot one post that by diction and substance substantiates your nonsensical proposition. I understand that the possibility exists that you may lack capacity and or the educational background to make a substantive deduction. If you don't, then PROVE YOURSELF RIGHT you made the deduction not me so PROVE YOURSELF RIGHT. You underpin your deduction with " Everyone knows" that's knowledge by supposition and postulation. |
Toylove:Who's fault is it then. Some people prefer the lie as opposed to the truth even when it is bitter. The truth shall set you free But lies will keep you in bandage, mediocrity and delusion causing you to fail. Telling the truth is not mockery however depending on your own perception and self-esteem you can erroneously assume mockery. But that's your choice. |
