Had Benteke been given game time, he'd definitely get himself some goals.

Since you agree that game time is secondary and learning continuous, then, our dear Nacho should remain on the bench soaking up knowledge till he retires..
How the mighty have fallen, looking at Benteke a guy that was banging in goals for fun.

Then he decided to upgrade go to Liverpool for big money he did Ok in the first two seasons but it's been down hill ever since. His time at Crystal Palace has been ABYSMAL.

How can a player be so good and then become so bad in such a short space of time. It's very difficult to understand.

Admittedly most teams are not playing to his strengths but it's still very difficult to explain.

You're saying his talent vanished after the Olympics or he never was talented in the first place?
What I see is a player on the right path after an ill adviced move. He presently plays for an ambitious club and so far he has been very good. Ekong and Omeruo played for lesser teams in Turkey and still played for the super eagles.
I don't understand the negative stereotype he is getting. It smells like an agenda driven bias.
I agree there is a good degree of double standard.

However, with regards to Omeruo and Ekong it was thier muted exploits in Europe and most definitely youth national team glories that gave them the opportunity for the SE.

The question is how do you measure quality in a player.

The quality and league you are playing in are clear indicators. However, they are not absolutely conclusive. That's why l stick to my never ending football quality selection proposition. Which is ;

It's better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league.

The question is he outstanding in that league ❓ l also think you cannot compare scoring 10 goals in the EPL to for instance scoring 30 in the NPFL. So let's always keep matters in context.

You have no level of rationality

You will praise oyendimma because maybe he is your favoured english brought up or whatever

Lol,i didnt tell you i am trying to be funny nah, and mind you i just said you are a comedian just because warri people are many in the comedy business not that they are the most funniest part of delta state self, and mind you i am from delta state and i know alot about warri, lets see that for another day as this is just a football talk

50 percent of the players you have always voice out for are MEDIOCRE
Consider the bold and look at yourself in the mirror.

Rationality will require logic, objectivity and methodology.

First of all you should state the players l have suggested that are MEDIOCRE and why.

You have implied Fred Onyedinma. When was the last time l called for his inclusionhuh ❓ Actually two seasons ago. I very graciously gave you a indepth history lesson on the subject and why my position changed. So to talk about him is HIGHLY IRRATIONAL on your part.

Finally, I was born in the UK but made in Warri. I don’t know about Warri, "I be area"

That's why many moons ago l was trying to get Etebo and before him Mba linked to EPL clubs. So I still operate on ground level.

In attempting to throw aspersions on a person or idea it's better to be methodical and objective.

State your position from a standpoint of knowledge.

I don't know if you are still in secondary school and as a result you lack capacity to present a substantive based approach to your arguments.

You seem filled with youthful exuberance but very little intelligence. And certainly over taken by emotive sentiment and prejudice.

But let's be constructive state why you think he is a good quality addition to the SE in comparison to other players. Since we are talking defenders compare him to Fikayo, Odubanjo and Dominic.

That approach will have you considered to be intelligent as opposed to the opposite.

You are still yet to PROVE YOURSELF RIGHT in the last tirade of emotive based allegations you made. You have obviously conceded DEFEAT and gone into EVASION.

Komekn and below bang average mediocre players are like 5 and 6

Dude will not let us hear word about fred onyedinma, someone that plays in league one, now watch how he will come and compare league one and the Turkish league

No wonder he is from warri, a very big comedian
This is disappointing from you. even when l disagree with you l still get some level of rationality although it may be deviously twisted.

Players dont remain consistent in one level of performance it's either up or down.

l haven't talked about Onyedinma for two seasons. IMO his misplaced emotive loyalty to Millwall has caused his career to have lost momentum. Two seasons ago when Ian Holloway was Manager after leaving Millwall tried to buy him for QPR and also Watford an EPL team put in an offer for him. He declined both offers.

Then decided to stay with the quintessential kick and rush, blood and guts English Manager Neil Harris at Millwall. Very ill-advised decision. His good friend now being celebrated was still at Millwall

Fast forward things got so bad that Fred, I commend his boldness refused to play for Millwall and Harris. Deciding to go on loan to league one with Wycombe Wanderers than stay at Millwall playing police game instead. He has now made that move permanent. I know that he is playing good football and he is rising upwards. In a sense stepping down to step up it is a wise move that should pay in the long term hopefully.

However he has not done enough to merit a call to the SE in my opinion. That's why l haven't talked about him for two seasons. I haven't said he is not good enough just not done anything to justify a call up.

Unlike many here who still talk about past glories for player inclusion and historical achievements, I SIMPLY DO NOT.

If that's your basis for indictment historical notification then i am very guilty.

Having all these facts not suppositions, what on earth had Fred Onyedinma got to do with the discussion as it stands now. ? ❓huh

I think you are being comical unlike however unlike us "Warri Pikin" you are simply NOT FUNNY AT ALL. In case you considered a career in comedy.

Through a press release published on their official website, Wolfsburg have announced that Germany U21 international of Nigerian descent, Felix Uduokhai has signed for Bundesliga rivals FC Augsburg on a season-long loan.

Uduokhai is embarking on his first loan spell since joining Wolfsburg from 1860 Munich in the summer of 2017.

The central defender has made 37 appearances for Wolfsburg, scoring three goals but has seen his first team opportunities limited in the new season after missing games against Cologne and Hertha Berlin.

He was a member of the German U21 squad that finished second in the 2019 European U21 Championship but was an unused substitute in all their five matches.

Apart from the aforementioned clubs, he has worn the jerseys of the youth teams of VfB Annaberg 09 and Erzgebirge Aue.

Uduokhai's loan deal runs until June 30, 2020 and FC Augsburg has secured a purchase option for the 21-year-old
He haa played 37 games of professional first team football he is nearly 22.

I find it hard to look at that as outstanding quality his parent team is not a team bustling with top quality players. So he will have OPPORTUNITY bit it seems his quality is in doubt.

Why then is there so much interest in him by the NFF, is there something l am missing.huh

Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner says he expects Felix Uduokhai to leave the club before the transfer window closes.

"The situation is that another club is very interested in him and has made an offer," Glasner told Kicker on Sunday and added:

"I spoke to Felix yesterday during training, and he said that if the clubs agree, he will accept the offer."

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to FC Augsburg. He was left out of Wolfsburg's squad for Sunday's 3-0 win over Hertha BSC because of his impending transfer.
Quite a long time ago.

I asked for a comparison to be made on the assumed quality attributes of the German origin defensive players all three of them Udokhai, Torunarigha, Akpoguma and Dominic Iorfa.

There was hell fire and brimstone name calling and vitriolic rhetoric. But nobody ever attempted to look at these players.

All three of the German players rejected calls to represent Nigeria. Dominic Iorfa has never REJECTED Nigeria only made a very diplomatic proviso that he will commit when he got to 23. He actually committed at 21 resulting in a visit from Rohr in March 2017 but no call up to date.

There has always been a BIGOTED DOUBLE STANDARD on this subject.

Look at the number of games these guys have played and they are way behind Dominic. But many are blinded to these facts but picking up on hearsay as facts.

He is not a defensive midfielder, hence , no basis for comparing him to Ndidi....Kingsley can play central/attacking midfield and support striker.
Midfielder is a generic term and to term a player as DM or AM or CM is to limit the player and to restrict the team.

Depending on the team players will play multiple roles as a reflection of the opponents and the players in the team.

I recall when Eto played as a Left back to neutralise the threat of Gareth Bale in Champions league game many years ago.

Players are versatile and dynamic you are being way too narrow in your view.

Slimani still manages 8 goals in 35 epl games for leicester, go and check the minutes he played

You go just open mouth talk without making research, it easy for you to label a player a flop
There are players that have made a career from making use of the few minutes they get. That has propelled them from super sub to first choice.

Slimani come Leicester in 2016 for £28 million with great EXPECTATIONS that simply were never achieved.

2015/16 season for Sporting Lisbon he scored 27 goals from 33 games that's a PHENOMENAL ACHIEVEMENT. However, scoring 8 goals from 35 goals can not be dressed up as satisfactory after the money Leicester paid out for him.

Shockingly he went on loan to Fenerbache and played 15 games without a goal he also played 4 games for Newcastle without a goal.

His time therefore without fear of contradiction in the EPL with regards to expectations and level of investment ABYSMAL.

Very much doubt it.

Niger already has allowed the US to have a Drone base on thier territory and a number of special forces units in operation there.

If the US wants to bring in some JLTV's it can drop them off at its air base in Niger. You can get about 15 JLTV in a C5 transport.

So they USA have no need to be transporting thier JLTV on the roads.
