He had 10 goals and 10 assists in 27 games last season playing from the left wing.

Those are great numbers. I understand the Turkish league isn't great but it is better than Belgium in terms of quality.
Actually it's quite good but not exactly IMPRESSIVE.

I am not saying is he Robben but it's good enough then let's compare him to other left sided players and see who is more deserving.

Nwakeame deserves another shout but not as a striker. He should play from the left.
The basis for selection should always be outstanding consistent top quality performances in club and league.

What has Nwakeame done that convinces you I n recent times❓

That means anybody fit lie for anywhere
The only time you can not lie is if you were born in a country with automatic birth data capture.

Or if you came to the country very young like Iwobi and Fred Onyedinma. It's very easy to see your progression from primary school and local football it's very well documented.

Akpom is a good choice.
There are players who are far more deserving than him and in all honesty after multiple opportunities in England in three different division he was very disappointing.

He then goes to Belguim and has his best score tally of 6 in 16 games.

IMO not good enough just yet.

Awoniyi is more deserving and many others.

Saka is the only truth for now. He is in the main team.. The others, we can get for our youth teams. There is no guarantee they will be great in future. I remember when Akpom was firing all cylinders. Today, he is still not there yet.. youth football is only indicative, but not conclusive.
Agreed without reservation.

But this is the problem and BIG DISADVANTAGE of English football.

After playing youth football you need to be playing with men and or first team football. This will enable you to develop and progress upwardly. However, when they have played youth football for so long they stagnate.

Meanwhile Belguim, Holland, Germany and even France give a lot of opportunities to young players that's why they develop quicker for first team football.

The EPL is very unforgiving and very impatient they want the finished product NOW not later. Time is very scarce in the EPL.

Brazil is another example young players given a lot of opportunities. It mat seem surprising that Gabriel before he came to city at 19 had already played two seasons in the Brazilian league.

It is so hard to accept but the deed has been done and I have to start looking forward. so, I want to make an enquiry if there's chance for me to do a master in the USA with such low degree or if they also accept 3rd class graduate through PDG. please I need your advice on this.

Depending on the subject area but in general you can do a MSc in the UK with even a HND particularly if you have work experience to underpin it.

I hope they qualify.

If Chuba gets them past Ajax he should enter the conversation
I watched Chuba for a long time, he was killing it at youth level at Arsenal and the expectations for first team football woefully NEVER MET.

He has had about 6 seasons in English football at EPL Championship, league one levels but unable to do anything of substance.

He goes to Belguim first division and scores 6 goals in 16 games, his best ever return in his career. He is in Greece with Poak and he has been satisfactory.

It's not good enough with the number of strikers we have anybody that has scored less than 15 in a season should not be in the conversation. With a proviso that for players in elite leagues the top three in Europe with a lower goal tally.

That proposition in bold is the anchor of favoritism and sentiment based preference. You have indicted yourself before the players has proven himself you have already earmarked him for glory and umerited selection.

Then you confirm your bigotry and double standard. It was OK to give umerited accolades to Osimhen but not Ok for justifiable accolades to Okereke. "What's good for the goose is good for the gander".

For those with a bit more football understanding know that youth football is only indicative but far from conclusive.

Everything in football is short term. To be underpin the inclusion of a striker on the basis of youthful glories of two years priory is ill advised at best at worst ludicrous. However , if you are Superdelusuional then it make sense to your befuddled mind that is unable to decipher between fantasy and objective reality. But to any other person with a balanced mind recognises such sentiments as futile in determining quality.

We are currently doing the same thing with KC for the past three seasons his last season at City was poor. We still keep looking at him instead of looking for players currently perfoming.

When a player is not perfoming we simply put him to one side pending when he will start to perform and look for those that are currently performing.

One season doesn't make a player it takes a few seasons to get consistency.

I will never fault Collin's invitation. We have been looking for a left back for years, not even one of us here could even recommend an inform natural left back.
Actually at the time I brought into the discussion The inclusion of Seyi Ojo.

Who has played left wing and left sided midfield with defensive responsibility for Liverpool and on loan at several Championship teams.

In modern football the Wing Back has evolved from the restricted Full back of yester years. Essentially this position us defensive but more attack based. This means that wingers will depending on the team flirt with both position. That's why Aina played on the wing several times for Hill in the Championship.

Seyi Ojo has the most important attribute for that position PACE but with added technicality and as you can imagine he can cross the ball something we lacked so obviously.

I don't usually use the word "hate" when discussing football matter but this your continual downgrade of Osimhen is getting out of hand!! .. Osimhen just left the Belgian league where he performed exceptionally well..he was exceptional at the u-17 world cup too so it was normal that his move to Wolfsburg should be celebrated! ..I mean for God's sake he is a Nigerian! a product of our youth team! what else were we supposed to do other than support him??

it is hypocritical for u to keep using his Wolfsburg days to judge him when some of ur favorite boys like Iorfa,Ojo,Onyedima,Solanke, etc had bad times at different clubs too but u tag them "exceptional”!
I can bet my testicles that u didn't know who Okereke was until he moved to Belgium . there's no guarantee yet that he will surpass Osimhen's record in Belgium..heck! he isn't the first Nigerian to hit it right in Belgium!
Osimhen has upgraded from Belgium to France so its totally normal for him to be rated ahead of Okereke... and like I said earlier,he is well known among Nigerian fans! he has been in the scene for long...Okereke just entered recently...

Give the boy the credit he deserves!!
In most things I do I try to be objective.

First of all, what in your understanding is downgrading a playerhuh ❓ Because I don't join the same train euphoric praise for a player doesn't mean HATE or DOWNGRADE. Give me one not two instancees where l down graded Osimhen.

Osimhen has done excellently well but he has just played his first season of professional football. That's perspective. He is on a forward progression hopefully it will continue.

Second presumption without substance. Favourite players, talking about a player doesn't make him.your favourite. I talk about KC but he not my favourite player. Solanke is a distraction to this discussion l have met him several times and said he has no affinity to Nigeria in any way essentially he's Oyibo. Where When did l PERSONALLY call him exceptionalhuh

Onyedinma l haven't talked about him for some two seasons as a quality prospect. He made some very unwise decision and his career has lost traction. Another misinformation.

Ojo I know and talked about him being an option for the LWB because we didn't have one. Good quality players but Exceptional not yet. Where did l say excellent exceptionalhuh ❓ more unfounded assumptions.

Iorfa I have given a history lesson several times and stated the issue of UNFAIR practice by the NFF and huge amounts of misinformation and untruthful storie. I have said he was regarded as exceptional in his team and with England. I know of him and know his agent and former club quite ( Wolves) I dint think l have called him EXCEPTIONAL EXCELLENT TALENT. I have been critical saying I think he lacks technical ability and intelligence. But pace aerial dominance strength and doggednes a big YES, l think he will become he has the potential to become a quality CB if he evolves.

Not too long ago well 2917/18 season l said that Fikayo Tomori is poor. Well one season later he has turned it all around to be an excellent CB. I said this month's ago he us the best CB we have yet to be capped. That's becoming a possibility he us now on the bench for Chelsea.

I had heard of him in Seria B. I know Nigerian Origin players who left England to play in Seria B, So don't presume.

Your final statement concerning Osimhen and Okereke is plain bigotry and biased standard. When Osimhen did well in Belguim it was a unit of measurement. However now that Okereke is doing it, it's no longer relevant that's blatant hypocrisy.

Okereke has been on the scene but ignored.

Finally, please let's not use the name if God in vain the fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom.

Hmmm maybe but let's remember Ravel Morrison who was better than Pogba at the youth level didn't get games with the first team either. Fergie might have overrated Cleverly but I wouldn't go as far as saying it was all bias/racism.

Look what some people in the know had to say about it:

The Main Reason Why Sir Alex Ferguson Did Not Trust Paul Pogba

Adnan Riaz in FOOTBALL

José Mourinho smashed Manchester United's club-record transfer in 2016 to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford.

While there have been moments where the 25-year-old United ace has been criticised for his performances, his current form under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be enough proof for some fans that he is one of the best midfielders in the world.

Even when he was at the United youth academy, there were many that saw the potential of Pogba.

However, Sir Alex Ferguson allowed him to leave the club for Juventus in 2012 after he turned down a contract.

Okay, some fans would be quick to lambast the legendary United manager for letting him leave and then the Red Devils paying as much money as they did to re-sign him, but it seems like he had his reservations about the World Cup-winning Frenchman.

According to the i newspaper, United 'insiders' revealed that the 77-year-old Scotsman believed that Pogba wasn't mature enough.

Interestingly, the claims are backed up from a number of different viewpoints.

Former United player Darren Fletcher echoed similar sentiments about the former Juventus star when he spent some time coaching the Red Devils reserves.

"I did a spell coaching with the [Manchester United] reserve team, which included Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Ravel Morrison -- a lot of talented players," he told Sky Sports' Monday Night Football in 2018.

"We played [Pogba] a lot higher up the pitch in attacking areas and we felt like he was the one that could go and win us games really.

"A combination of the fact that we felt he had a little bit of ill-discipline in the middle of the park as more of a central midfielder."

In fact, historian Tony Park made an observation that suggested Pogba was fairly inconsistent for the youth team.

"Pogba would have one great game, one average game and one anonymous game," he explained.

"It was why Fergie didn't trust him. When he arrived there were 10 to 15 new players around the scene at the time, all with bigger reputations.

"Ravel Morrison was by far the standout and coaches were giving him lots of attention. Pogba's ability was not in doubt, it was his inconsistency, that's been an issue all his career."

Well, the rest is now history.

Pogba once again rewarded Solskjær's faith in him against Fulham, opening the scoring with a brilliant strike in the first half.

He followed up his performance in the second half after he scored from the spot kick and United secured a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage.

Where will United finish in the Premier League this season?

Let us know in the comments.
I had seen Pogba as youth player.

And one of my friend a football agent was quite close to him. I knew his older twin brother when he was at Crew with Chuks. I also knew his brother agent he seemed to be Eastern European.

What is said in the papers is not necessarily the truth.

There is always a racial divide in clubs more so in the North of England.

Although saying that Liverpool is TOTALLY DIFFERENT since the arrival of the last two Managers and HO of the academy.

Ravel Morrison is a WASTEMAN totally unserious and highly indisciplined. He want to groove. I hope he has changed otherwise a total waste of talent.

French Ligue 1 side Monaco are on the brink of announcing the signing of Everton-owned winger Henry Onyekuru.

French sports daily L'Equipe is reporting that Onyekuru has inked a five-year contract with the Principality side following a successful medical, which has effectively ended his association with Everton.

The transfer of the former Eupen man will cost Monaco €13.5 million plus bonuses of up to €1.5 million.

Onyekuru has been signed as replacement for Rony Lopes, who is being linked with a switch to Sevilla before the close of the window.

The Nigeria international spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 16 goals and providing 6 assists in 44 matches.

Lukman Haruna, Rabiu Afolabi and Victor Ikpeba have represented Monaco in the past.
Apart from Ikpeba thier careers did not go as far as expected. Add to your list Echiejile and he played not too long ago about 40 games for them.

That's not true.

There are more who don't make it than those who do. You of all people should know that.

Football is about ability but also the big determinant OPPORTUNITY I am not sure which is the most important component.

There are many excellent footballers who have died in the non league football of England denied opportunity. This can be for multiple reasons, lack of network, Agents, Favoritism, Racism, Corruption, etc.

To think a few years ago at 20+ Mahrez was refused by a moi moi club in Scottish premier league and Ngolo Kante at 20+ could not find a club and went French league 3.

So this is the nature of football.
