charlesemeka85:After two seasons of anonymous football by KC hr does not deserve a call.up. That would be a slap in the face of players who are showing good form and improving like Awoniyi, Okereke, and others. Ighalo has not completely turned his back on the SE and in that regard there is nobody currently better than him. And certainly not KC. |
andrew444:If he keeps that consistency and scores 15 goals by December then he will be moving in the January transfer window. To bigger and better things. |
safarigirl:You created a new discourse with a new core theme. With my responsive comments taken out of context that's a CON. You refuse to put matters into the correct perspective by COMPLETELY EVADING the questions. Your approach is anchored on your personal discriminatory view. If you truly think that ROHR personally identified, appraised and then selected Udokhai and Sarenren-Bazee all by his wonderful self. Then you have a lot to learn. |
BascoVanVeli:The tax regime in Turkey is very favourable and you make much more money in your pocket. However, players with ambition and self belief will want to test themselves against better players and enhance thier developmental growth. I remember when Yobo went to Turkey ☪ then before the World cup came to Norwich after playing easy easy go football in Turkey. He had REGRESSED and age had nothing to do with it. So if you have ambition and believe in yourself and have a long term plan you will not go to Turkey. |
tbaba1234:Agreed without reservation. It's a better place to showcase your talent. |
safarigirl:When a comment is taken out of context it becomes a CON. I am sure you are familiar with the term. You have changed the core theme of the discourse and created one of your own. You imply that the discussion was a comparison of my knowledge in comparison to that of Rohr. That's simply not true and very misleading. This discourse centred on the idea because Rohr is a German football coach. He is therefore an authority on the subject of player performances , quality , ability and quality essentially player RECRUITMENT in the German leagues. The presumption that led you to your proposition show your lack of understanding and knowledge of football administration and management. You jumped on to the bandwagon without knowing where the final destination is and where it started From. Then used one of the stops to decide the final destination. That's not wisdom but the opposite. What underpins the decision to recruit players is a network of recruitment heads, scouts, analysts and that knowledge converges for an informed decision to be made. That knowledge is mostly experiential particularly for recruitment heads. Sometimes scientific and sometimes emotive depending on the club management structure. There is a very distinctive difference between a COACH and a RECRUITMENT Head. Having this in mind, l want to ask you two questions. How many Clubs in the German leagues has Rohr managed❓ And what in your opinion makes him an authority on players recruitment in the German leagues.❓ ❓ Finally what has Rohr been mainly centred on for the past 10 years❓ ❓ ❓ These questions sum up the substantive approach to the question not an emotive one based on ill informed personal presumption. |
Humility017:You really are an Uncle Tom, garnished with colonial mentality and big dose of inferiority complex in comparison to white people. So because Rohr was born in Germany donkey years ago but has never coached a team in Germany and has been coaching Football in Africa for a decade. He is an authority on German football. And in your small mind he knows more about German football than anybody else. Chei !!! you fall my hand. There are many club scouts, German based football agents , Recruitment heads that know way more than him. Some of those scouts and agents are African but because they are Black you will dismiss them and accept Rohr your oyibo master. With all your education your mentality is still in bondage to the white man, that's pathetic. I shame for you. |
edi287:Apart from the automatic birth data capture. The minute you play local football at age 5/6/7 you are registered with the local league candidates all your stats are recorded. Unlike Nigeria. |
andrew444:Maybe he is waiting for Omeruo to start game first , particularly as he was signed when he Fikayo was only 12/13 over 7 years ago. |
andrew444:Firstly, I probably would have said that without any HESITATION two seasons ago. Fikayo was almost hopeless at Brighton then just about Ok at Hull. But right now not ANYMORE. He is actually a Chelsea player who has played albeit only a few games but he still a Chelsea player. It's not what league or club you play in but what you actually do in it, that's pertinent. Top performances get you noticed and bigger clubs come for you. For example Osimhen from Charleroi to Lille. As it stands, it's almost CERTAIN that Fikayo Tomori will be playing in the EPL for Everton, Aston Villa or somebody else. So because he is NOW a EPL player according to you he cannot be compared to a Bundesliga player, that's your principle not mine. You are much more intelligent than that your statement in bold. |
andrew444:Yes they are Example Dominic Iorfa |
forgiveness:I haven't heard much about this guy. Instituting the principle that the only basis for selection is continous consistent top quality performances in your club and league. At one stage the Bundesliga was rated number 2 in Europe. We had a player who had not played any first team games invited to the SE. What I am saying he should at least have been invited to see what he can do and if he performs then selection. Admittedly not impressive he only scored 4 Bundesliga goals all season but then KC scored 4 over two seasons and was still considered. There is a DOUBLE STANDARD. |
charlesemeka85:Remove emotive sentiment and look at matters objectively. I have this proposition which l use regularly, "Better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league" No bias, no sentiment or emotive based preference or otherwise. Just measured objectivity. The Bundesliga is ranked number four in Europe, that means it's not on the same level as the EPL no debate. Add to that the unique characteristic of the Bundesliga where one club dominates everything for the past decade plus that Is Bayern Munich. That effectively means there is a big gap between the top team and the next 4/5 teams and an even bigger gap for the next 5/6 Bundesliga teams. It would be safe to say the Upper 3/4 teams of the Bundesliga may apart from Bayern Munich may not be on par with the Upper half of the EPL. If you consider all Bundesliga teams outside of the top 5/6 are probably on par with the Championship. So that puts player performances in context. Maybe that's why young players unable to get into the first teams of EPL top clubs are thriving and putting in outstanding performances in the Bundesliga. For example Ademola, Jason Sancho, Reiss Nelson, Gnabry, etc, etc. Now the next question is, how good is Udokhai? is he among the top twenty defenders in the Bundesliga ❓ see ratings below. It doesn't seem so.https://www.worldfootball.net/marks/bundesliga-2017-2018/filter-abwehr/1/ https://www.fifauteam.com/fifa-19-bundesliga-defenders-guide/ Unless you have information to the contrary we can say he is not one of the top 10 defenders in the Bundesliga. Now look at Fikayo Tomori arguably the best CB in the Championship. Voted player of the year by Derby County. Now wanted by multiple EPL clubs would definitely be in Chelsea if not for the large squad of current defenders. So which do you prefer without sentiment the most outstanding defender in the championship or the anonymous Bundesliga defender. An example to consider Balogun leaves Bundesliga and struggled to get games in the EPL. So that's why l don't rate Uduokhai comparatively to Fikayo Tomori. |
charlesemeka85:I don't rate Uduokhai on the same level as Tomori in any way. |
charlesemeka85:Watched him for a long time since he was 16, he has a lot to learn, and he is nowhere as good as Fikayo Tomori. Blackburn is the quintessential KICK and RUSH , blood and guts English football team he is going to find it not very pretty. |
mu2sa2:A ignorance is bliss. A toilet attendant ensures the hygiene of the WC (water closet) there is no cleaning shit as you may put it, particularly as the water never runs dry." A toilet attendant "Kpecke" can on a good night with sharp banter can predominantly on a Friday or Saturday in a high volume patronage and upmarket night club at the end of the night take home £500, even more. Now that is the exceptional cases but on average they can make £200+ a night. So when you see them buying houses in Lekki and driving an upmarket SUV, you can laugh at them. i have seen people with Masters and PHd opting for this tax free cash in hand option, i wonder how many of you would jump at the chance if given the opportunity to clean " Oyibo shit" a you have put it, you included ![]() |
ChrisKels:There is a saying we have in Warri " Who deh follow craze man fight imself deh craze too" But maybe if you take a look in the mirror and digest the substance of my deduction with measured objectivity. You may apologise. Once again I will say my comments are entirely in context I was responding to Charlesemeka85 fact based observation. According to Charlesemeka85 he has played 16 games in the Bundesliga since 2016 that's simple not good enough over three seasons for a call up to the SE. If you look at it with further depth you discover that over 5 seasons of football he has played barely 46 professional matches and he is 22. He has not been outstanding quality and one of the top players for club and league. If you add the term injury prone it looks even more dire. He can with projection and faith, hope to have an injury free season. However, until that happens it's wishful thinking. You select players on CURRENT CONTINOUS CONSISTENT PERFORMANCES not by speculative expectation. It's not harsh it's simply FOOTBALL. See the screen shots of my comments below and give back to basics and asked yourself what it means to circumvent if needs be use a dictionary. Once again you have chosen to completely go off on a tangent of abuse and vitriolic caustic rhetoric. WHY Who has CIRCUMVENTED the discussion me or you❓ ❓ ❓
|
CaptainStephen:Unfortunately injuries in the harsh world of football will not give you a reprieve but will count against you. As a consequence you can be easily labelled as injury prone. And that will cause your faltering career to be curtailed even further. Injury will come and go it's part of football. However, long term continous in and out of injury is NOT GOOD. |
ChrisKels:Is it possible for you to make a comment without resorting to the gutter. Without unnecessary abuse and caustic vitriolic rhetoric. I do not know where you are from but remember this "Out of the depths of the heart , the mouth Speaks" For once try and garnish your words with grace if not grace civility and if not civility at least be a gentleman. What's wrong with you? You are the one person more so than anybody else that loves abuse and insults on this thread. You don't upset me, l just feel sorry for you, you must lead a sad, bitter, dissapointed and discontent life that's why your heart and mind are so DARK. I say Good morning to you, have a cold coke and a smile let the sunshine in so you can see without darkness. |
charlesemeka85:That's not the kind of form that should get a you a call up to the SE. Simply not good enough. Should look elsewhere |
Danielnino00:To make a comparison there must be similar attributes and components not necessarily identical but SIMILAR. Tammy was third highest goal scorer in the Championship had played 41 league games and a few games for Chelsea as a 17 year old. Before going to Swansea on loan in this context he can be described as a top player with huge potential. Nonetheless he was still able over 31 games to score 5 goals and a good number of assists. Not great but still not too bad under the circumstances. Swansea on the space of three years has had 8 managers and Wolfsburg has had 5 in the same period. Osimhen had no past continous consistent top quality performances to underpin his position or quality. He was a youth player that was going back and forth between the first team and youth academy. He essentially had done nothing to make any deduction of quality beyond past youth football glories. He had played 12 games over two seasons and failed to make any impact. At that time he was simply not good enough he couldn't even break into a relegation facing poor quality side. No contradictory deduction or double standard beyond your own. Two completely different situations with little or no similarity. I should add there were better players ahead of him and he couldn't dislodge them. |
ChrisKels:Blind hatred no get let u see Road. At Bristol he was not good he was EXCELLENT as a teenager being the top three highest goal scorer in your first season of first team professional football. At Swansea the team had sold key players went through how many Managers issues on and off the field. Let me say Categorically a club that has had 8 managers in the space of 3 years is almost impossible for any player to excel talk less thrive. However he still scored 5 goals in the EPL. Fast forward to 2018/19 and he was the highest goal scorer at 21 in the Championship. I noticed you and many others still clamour for KC who has scored 4 goals in two seasons of EPL football with Leicester and call him an outstanding talent. |
charlesemeka85:Currently even with the ingrained conscious and unconscious RACISM prevalent across all spheres of life in the UK. No Oyibo boy were go clear any of our black boys in the No. 9 role currently and not for some time to come. All the prospects are Black. However, he would be wise to shift base which l will not be shocked to see happen. Particularly once he has settled his long term contractual future. You must understand that your transfer value, endorsements, advertising, etc are all intrinsically linked with you being classed as an England international. But once you can sort out your long term contractual obligations then it's difficult to loose value. So if he then changes allegiance then NUTTIN SPOIL don't forget his socail network is predominantly black and Nigerian. Ebere and him played local football as kids. Although he fall my hand with this oyibo babe when he carry put for head. |
andrew444:Remove sentiment and emotive based favoritism. The Turkish league is not a top quality league and does not attract the best players in thier prime. This is just the truth. If you are in that League you are not competing with the best. The very favourable taxes regime is very favourable to many players particularly those unable to compete in the better leagues. |
andrew444:I don't know but you should consider the ownership of the three clubs Watford Grenada and Udinese. He was in Spain for quite some time and I do not know his immigration status. I know of a Nigerian international now retired recently who played in the EPL he circumvented the work permit rules by virtue of a Portuguese passport. |
timay:Harsh truth is Onyekuru is a business transaction and not a prospect for Everton. If Ademola Lookman 21 ( true age) who was able to light up the Bundesliga when on loan and understands the physicality of the English football leagues. And who was unable to break into Everton as a regular player what chance therefore, does Onyekuru have to be realistic ❓ |
ChrisKels:At the same time Tega Abrahams collects the number 9 jersey for Chelsea and scores in pre season against Barcelona. At the tender age of 21, has had three seasons of first team football was the top goal scorer in the championship. Can be described as a consistent continous top class outstanding player. Probably now worth in the region of £50 million if Chelsea will even accept that. |
charlesemeka85:Some people ple said he was our best defender in the AFCON. Should he not be moving upwards as opposed to staying in Turkey with his exceptional talent. |
tbaba1234:Particularly the Belguim and Dutch leagues look at how many young teenagers are given opportunity and thrive. Then look at the real age of the players in the NPFL. There lies the PROBLEM. |
LZAA:This is misleading what you have stated in the bold. Ravel has an attitude problem, lacks discipline , is very disruptive and has no professional ethos and focus. His problem is not about being coached properly |
BascoVanVeli:In my opinion a very big problem is the age factor and age discrimination. Irrespective of how good you are once you are above 26 even younger most European clubs which is the preferred destination will not consider you as a prospect. As a consequence age is intrinsically linked to potential and your prospects. That's why across Africa or anywhere else there is no Automatic Birth Data Capture thier is inevitable age cheating. Consequently, a lot of players are already at thier peak and struggle to improve and then inevitably fall down the ladder. But also for many the quest for money is paramount not career progression. That's the reality and to be honest do you blame them. |
andrew444:I know Beale assistancoe manager to Gerard and l know Gerard. I can assure you, so please remove any idea of lying racism or prejudice. He was given many chances but was Woeful and Flopped big time, simple truth. |
