I would call it Abysmal it's a joke.

Currently we need more central defender in the team to tighten things up in that position. It seem getting tomori to play for us will be a tough one but the nff and Rohr should not give up on him.

Felix udokhai and tosin adarabioyo are another two that has the qualities to be top defenders in the nearest feature and should be sounded out once again. Getting them seem more realistic than tomori who is highly rated and monitored by the English fa.

After the afcon, the nff and Rohr if he remains with the team should build towards infusing decent young talents to the team with 2022 world the sole target. Mikel, balogun and ighalo's days are numbered and need to be replaced.

The likes of oshimeh, awoniyi and onuachu should fight for ighalo's position after afcon

Adarabioyo and udokhai should battle for balogun spot

I forsee any of offorbour and bashiru having a good outing in Poland and will be touted to be heir to our aging skipper mikel

Also some good players will emerge from the U23 Team with the likes of Bonaventure Dennis and Okereke already in Rohr's sight

Other players such as ebere eze, ovie ejaria, bonke, Abdul zubairu, igbekeme, onomah should be closely monitored
I really don't use U23 competitions to assess progression it's indicative at best of potential.

Once a player gets to 19 he should really be playing first team football if he has good quality. Anything less means there are question marks about his abilities.

If you are in top team with limited opportunities then you need to go on loan. Tega Abrahams loan moves have made him arguably the best young striker in the England the same goes for Fikayo Tomori possibly best young central defender in England too.

I once said it here...I pick Dele as a player to replace mikel in that Midfield when he retires.

he is a good CM...
Very very premature to make that deduction.

Until he starts playing first team football on loan or in Man city, it's all just potential. NOTHING ELSE.

The step up from youth football is not always that easy.

good players have made the leap from league one to the epl and did pretty well. dele alli, joe gomes and ademola lookman are good examples
That substantiates my position, l will rather have an outstanding top performing consistent player in a lower league and club. Than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league.

Dele Alli went from MK Dons straight to Tottenham and England first team in one season literally.

You like this Aribo guy

I've not seen him play, Is he good?
Watched him since he was 14 at City not particularly impressive. This is first season on loan, he has not been outstanding just about ok.

He is way below Fikayo Tomori in all departments.

We have enough defenders in the top leagues not to look at Bundesliga league 2 again
I have always said I have preference for a outstanding consistent top performing player in a lower league than a anonymous one in a top league or club.

Which of our defenders have been consistently outstanding in the top 5 leagues of Europe beyond making up the numbers and or occasionally mentioned as having a good performance.

Please name onehuh

Afterall, Ndidi, Iwobi (who I still think is overhyped) plays quite regularly in the EPL
Succes has been far from SUCCESSFUL time for him to change name.

forgiveness:
When I think about Keshi's AFCON list, I realized it was based on selective selection.

Keshi dropped Taye Taiwo who started all the matches for Dynamo Kiev in the league, UEFA champions and Europa League for Juwon Oshaniwa who was in an obscure Israeli league. As at that time, Taye had a goal and 2 assists.

Keshi dropped Lukam Haruna who anchored Dynamo Kiev CMF and AMF in both the league and UEFA champions League, and even scored 6 goals with 2 assists, for Fengor Ogude, Reuben Grabriel etc who were from obscure leagues. One of them was selected despite having injury.

Imagine, Keshi took an INJURED player to the AFCON. shocked shocked angry

I thought these two were playing for obscure team but surprisingly Keshi dropped them and picked Brown Ideye.

Late Keshi Dropped Obafemi Martins who was banging in goals in the La Liga and Europa League for a player struggling in Russian league.

Late Keshi Dropped Peter Odemwigie who was one of our best if not the best player in Europe for a player like Ejike Uzoenyi.

I don't want to talk about Sone Aluko, Ezekiel Imoh etcetera who he conspicuously ignored for no just reason.

Well, he won the trophy but at the end of the day, our SE suffered regression for 5 years.
Agreed without reservation

by taking a crappy bench to the world cup...

Gabriel Reuben who only managed 270 mins of.football that season in his club....

pls spare US all this..... His team selection was questionable even though he is a better coach than Rohr when it comes to tactics...
It's even worse, he played one game for Kilmarnock got sent off he was so poor it was shocking. He never played for them again then went to Belguim where deals cam be made.

Rohr only issue at the world cup when it comes to players selection was dropping Aina for elderson and moreover Aina was poor during that period unlik now....

besides that...I can't really point any fault in his players selection...unlike keshi who picked Uchebo, Gabriel Rueben, Ameobi,Nwafor
When you consider the players left out at the time it becomes much more damnatory.

Imagine Obagoal, Aluko, Akpan, etc left out.

I agree that this is too late for the Jamboree.

At under 20 level, most players are unproven. Mikel Obi was unproven at under 20. They are young pros just carving a path for themselves.

There are some talented lads here. Nnamdi Ofoborh is highly rated and has made the bournemouth bench , a few times this season. The Dele-Bashiru brothers are highly rated.
That doesn't necessarily mean outstanding quality particularly in a club like Bournemouth.

I haven't watched him play once or asked any of the coaches at Bournemouth about him. So it's not a conclusion just a general statement.

I foresee omeruo joining a bigger team in laliga next season

Dennis is likely to leave with Torino interested

Esiti have been linked with a move to sporting lisbon

Okereke is certain to join a serie A club

Onyekuru have a lot of suitors and I will prefer he moves to the Bundesliga preferably Dortmund who have penciled him down as sancho's replacement rather than running back to everton

Collins may get promoted with Paderborn and if that doesn't happen he will surely have offers from the bundesliga

Ajayi at worst will remain in the championship if the Norwich move doesn't happen

I have no idea of an interest from any epl team for etebo but have interest from Galatasaray already

Mikel have done enough in the championship and some epl clubs will difinently take a gamble on him

Onuachu is likely to leave but his destination is unknown for now

Simy likely to return to serie A
I don't see Ajayi getting into the EPL and it will not be surprising if he stays in league one. However some of the typical kick and rush teams in the Championship may consider him a prospect if he goes for a good price.

I personally would not be putting that information in the public domain. A player on trial at this time when the season is coming to a close.

Has not been signed yet it is not certain. It's just unnecessary pressure and undue publicity.

Not wise in my opinion.

I know West Ham and I have dealings with them not been too impressed with the recruitment team too many underhand dealings.
