charlesemeka85:I would have like to see the quality CB Adarabioyo Tosin, no player currently in or outside of the SE is better than him. He is head and shoulders above all the CB' s we have. Tim Iroegbunam is one that's currently under the radar, he is not going to displace Douglas Luiz at Villa so has to warm bench. In addition Villa are flying so high right now. Whats the chance of getting the three Igbo boys in Chelsea Midfield ❓that would be a dream for all three in the SE |
Cecco90:Don't know what Ahmed & Sadiq are doing there , have nothing to offer. Omeruo and Awaziem are expired nothing to offer, have doubts about Zaidu , fast and tenacious but technically poor with no END product and lacks football ⚽ intelligence. Tosin Adarabioyo is available he would have added real quality to that weak CB defence. In midfield I would have gone with two additions of Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and Nathan Tella ( who can also play midfield) My wild card invitation would have been the Aston villa England youth international, Tim Iroegbunam. Not getting game time but definitely a top quality prospect that will play for Nigeria as he now out of the limelight. Cannot understand how the renewed reinvented Chuba Akpom did not make the team 🤔🤔 But it's all academic the NFF have not failed to disappoint in their selections. It is what it is selection based not on merit .But we have just go with it and hope for the best. Will we win the AFCON highly unlikely we are not the best team both in players and team cohesion. But we have a very good chance , the ones to watch for me are Senegal and Egypt, but AFCON will always pull some surprises. |
Samueltemi337:But then again the ltsekiri are first cousins to the Yoruba. |
villagereporter:How many Caucasian women have you dated and from what nations in Europe and the Americas please ❓ |
Marjoribanks:No he did not in any way shape or form. |
Napoleon55:I disagree and agree. The dynamics of relationships in Nigeria are dramatically different from the west. It's difficult to be brief I'll try. In Nigeria unfortunately through decades of failed leadership. The larger percentile of Nigerian are fighting sorry dying to get the basics in life. Shelter, ,food , electricity and basic healthcare. People can almost spend their entire working life time just trying to get the basics. As a consequence, women in Nigeria see you primarily in the context of PROVISION , can you provide, the basics❓. They may not even like you, talk less of LOVE ❤️ you. Your character, personality and physicality (who 6 pack Elp), irrelevant largely in comparison to the quest for PROVISION. The next question ❓ what is the NIGERIAN 🇳🇬 woman prepared to do, to get the provision long and short term. This is the grave danger and minefield of pain and tribulation. The proviso here , is I am taking in general terms not specifics , there will always be exceptions. In the west in general, the basics have already been met ,even if you are not working. So women are way more preoccupied with character, physicality, personality, this is where there compassionate passionate attraction will be anchored ⚓ upon predominantly. You wil find most women are independent not dependent, have Thier own house, car, decent career, money, etc. They have gone way beyond the basics of life. If it all goes south and the relationship goes sour and breaks down acrimonusly. The retribution of a western women will be settled in court and depending on what pre nuptials were signed and contributions made she could get a sizeable portion of your assetsand wealth. Western women includes Nigerian women born and brought up in the west. On the other hand, by comparison to Western women if things go south and the relationship breaks down acrimonously. The bitter retribution of a Nigerian women are multifaceted and bloody. The court will not be a first resort, it may be ignored completely as a tool for retribution in Nigeria. But there are many other options she may take; 1. Poison you 2. Turn you into vegetable ( JuJu at work) 3. Arrange assassin, wipe you off the earth. 4. Use Baba to do a plethora bitter wicked things against you. 5. Give you hell night and day. 6. Abuse and denigration ( 9ja woman abuse u 🤔) 7.Cause discord in the family ( knack all close relatives) 8. Sell your house, land, empty your account, etc 9.Commit paternity fraud against you ( substantiated fact Nigeria has the highest rate of paternity fraud 🤥 in the world 🌎) 10. Collect residency make false claims against you so you are deported and she claims your entire assets. (She can claim you sexually abused your own children) in this case you are finished 11. Please feel free to add more. Apologies for deviation. Do you still think it's still safer to marry Mary from your place ❓❓❓😱 |
MetalJigsaw:Essentially I am saying that, colour is not the definitive attribute of a being a good woman. The criticism implies that an African woman is better for V.O. This is a very personal decision the choice of life partner or partners. A decision like this will be about a persons personal journey, experiences, with both African and European women. Some will be good and bad and firm your perceptions with regards to women and therefore your decisions. |
Danielnino00:100% |
MetalJigsaw:Why ❓ A good woman ♀️ is a good woman, whether she is green, yellow or blue. |
humility33:I would disagree with you. Under the circumstances he has done the best thing , career wise, he has maximised income, possibly the highest paid player in Seria A, until 2026. It's one thing to get to the top but it's another thing to stay there . He has won the highest accolade in African football ⚽, his team. In addition, he has for the first time in his career after 3 seasons in Seria A , been the highest goal scorer , add to that he was instrumental in Napoli getting winnings the league ( 1st time in donkey years) In football strike while the iron is 🔥 and in fire 🔥🔥. There is no guarantee he will be the top highest goal 🥅 scorer in Seria A, or in the top 5, at the end of the season. His value and current dominance can start to diminish. If he does well then his value will go up and clubs will still pay more and meet the crazy transfer fee Napoli has set . If he doesn't do too well, he has still got his long term very lucrative contract FOR LIFE. We have seen players one season they are £50 million next season they are £20 million, this is football ⚽. |
BascoVanVeli:You do know there are Championship players who have earned over £100k a week. |
Kog45:Are all first division leagues the same.❓ Are all second tier league the same quality ❓ The EPL is the best most competitive league in the world and it's second tier has the highest quality among all second tiers in the world. If it's widely held and accepted that the Championship is way better than the Scottish premier League, which is rated 10 in Europe. How good is the Championship 🏆❓ |
zicky:I challenge you to say where I said he is least paid in his club Chavez FC. If you can't then your merry happy 😊 big LIAR. |
Napoleon55:The same paint brush 🪥 and finger you use to point and make claims are CONDEMNING YOU. When a player consistently gets over hyped with a false narrative and claims from season to season by year to year on this forum. Is that not obsessive delusion ❓ Beyond this forum tell me one outstanding achievement of Nwakali since youth U17 football. The basis for SE selection has to be outstanding consistent top quality performances in club and league. A player was rejected at Arsenal, couldn't cut it in the Eerste Divisie and Eridivise , went to Porto B struggles to get in the team. He then ends up in the Segunda Division where his team Huesca tried to end his contract before expiry illegally. He goes to a relegation team Ponferradina , gets relegated and ends up in the worst team in Portuguese league Chavez. And you are trying to say he is exceptional talent after 8 year's in Europe. You use the diction , predicament and poor wages. It may have escaped you that these are indicators of your quality and ability. This is football ⚽ your performance will predicate your quality, ability and value you can't hide from it. This is true and fair predicament of football. Stating the true facts is not an attack it's the reality of football ⚽. |
MetalJigsaw:Akpo chose Nigeria alongside Aina in September 2019. That's over 4 years ago what has the NFF been waiting for ❓It takes the NFF years to process an application they are diligent, expedient and professional. |
Odunayaw:It's only in Nigeria you will fund confirmed convicted corrupt politicians talking about fighting corruption. You are the proverbial pot calling the kettle black . You suppose shame small. |
zicky:Some stats are widely available because they are public information and not hidden. We say in Warri , "Na money kill beta Soup" It's also said among the British, You get what you pay for. Many again prefer the delusional fantasy over established facts truths and convention. The best players cost money 🤑 it's simple. Poor players cost less and the poorest get paid very poorly. Below is the average weekly wage bill €3392 for Chavez FC , the highest paid player is Rúben Ribeiro (Attacking Midfield) at €11,154 per week. Just his salary impact on that average weekly salary significantly. It means there are players on less than €1k a week in Chávez FC, in a Portuguese premier League team, that tells you something about Chavez as well as the league they play in.🤔 I have compared the average salary of Chavez with Bradford FC an English League two team. Not a team in league one or the Championship, but the lowly English League Two. Using Bradford City FC as a comparison see below and the difference seems academic, not much difference. That tells you a lot about the quality of the lower percentile of the Portuguese Premier league. These stats are indicative of the low quality players in the lower half of the Portuguese league. I think that's self evident without being contentious. Now tell me that Nwakali is an exceptional player, unless you want to be delusional and fantasy led by favouritism.

mank1234:Football ⚽ is not played behind closed doors even more soon this digital age. If you are performing you get noticed if you are not you are ignored, ceteris paribus, quarell no deh. Many here want to turn black 🖤 to White 🤍. If you are any good how many years and how many clubs do you need to prove it. ❓ |
Truidstarr:An opinion is a preferential subjective based deduction. However, if an opinion is anchored on objectivity and truths that are substantive , then it's FACT. But many prefer LIES and FANTASY to TRUTH. |
Samueltemi337:Yes he did |
Napoleon55:And there some like you , who have no rationale objective based appraisal and the Idea of truth and facts an affront to your limited understanding. You instead hold on to the delusional and outright disinformation, what does that make you ❓ The quintessential Nigerian problem😕 |
lbrichman2:His team is very poor and so are his team mates and he is also there because he is very poor. Chávez FC is the worst team in Portuguese league , they have won only three games two of those games when their opponents had players sent off . They have the highest goal deficit of -22 in the league as well as the highest numbers of games lost. You can't be great and your team from day one had been in relegation. Nwakali was poor in the Segunda Division and getting paid peanuts he is even getting paid less in Chavez. There is a reason why for 8 years he has not been able to get quality club and respectable wages imagine €2k a week or less in Chavez, that's peanuts. All this misinformation about stats is like Yahoo misleading and deceit. He is not among the five highest paid players in Chavez and certainly not the best players in the team. |
Ppogbae:Quintessential Recipe for failure. |
comodo:If he is so good why had he played in the most obscure and backwater leagues in Europe throughout his 5 years in Europe. Football ⚽ is a short term career and there is little time to waist. |
villagereporter:The award strictly looks at 2022/23 season not before or after. In this regard VO deserves it more, top goal scorer Seria A plus his team won their first league title in donkey years. What did Salah achieve last season not much of anything |
villagereporter:In football the best and most gifted players don't have to work so hard to make IT. Therein lies the Achilles heel of such players. Players that come to mind like that are Taraabt, Ravel Morrison, Robinho, Balotelli, etc However, the players who are exceptional are those that add discipline, diligence, hard work, drive to get better and better, with a resilient mentality make it to the top. Sometimes less naturally gifted players carve out exceptional careers from adversity by sheer determination hard work and a desire to improve. Ngole Kante comes to mind in this regard. |
Kog45:I attacked the common culture of voting for someone not by competence but tribalism, nepotism, favouritism, etc that has destroyed our Nation over the years. Amuneke clarified the situation that was taken out of context and used to throw aspersions on him. |
villagereporter:Well Salah is consistently consistent since his arrival back in the EPL with Liverpool. He has never scored less than 19 goals in the EPL in a season , he is among that very elite group of players actually just 5 including Salah have scored 200+ goals for Liverpool. If that's not exceptional what is.❓ |
villagereporter:Every single young player is evolving, some will peak at 14 and you never hear of them some will peak at 16 and go on to great things. Some may never get to the standard it's football. You don't make assesment in the HERE and NOW on future speculation. I got back froma youth football tournament in Malta yesterday and there is a U15 youth player for Crystal palace I was looking at. That's looking really exceptional. Will he be exceptional in three years time, I simply don't know. He has great potential but it's not realised yet. |
Kog45:How many years back 🔙 and when did I start rating them. RATINGS are not static but continuous going up and down. Last years performance is not enough to to give you standing this year, you must perform consistently in the present continuous not past. I've known Tosin since he was 15 at Manchester city up close and personal. He was a skinny gangly kid decent on the ball ,tall fast but not physical. In 2018 he went WBA on loan he was good but not exceptional then he went to Blackburn 2019 he had developed, it was when I saw him bully my preferred player Dominic Iorfa and score. He was now a man a complete beast and much much better than Dominic that's when I said he needs to be signed sealed and delivered for the SE. Check my post at the time. So are you saying I should have been clamouring for Tosin when he was gangly skinny teenager who had not played first team football ⚽. To play in the SE, when his development was not complete. You don't come into the SE to develop it's not youth football you come to show what you have in the HERE and NOW. Fikayo I had known not very well at Chelsea seem him at Brighton and Hull and he was at that time poor and unimpressive. He was 19 playing RB for Hull alongside Aina. I watched him up close and personal against Burton Albion and he was not good enough at THAT TIME. Fast forward to 2018 playing for Derby County as a CB Fikayo had become a man Dude was exceptional and the best CB in the championship that season. I starred saying he needs to be capped NOW when he was at Derby before England notice him. Some said he is too low playing in the Championship, etc So once again should I be rating him as a SE player when in my opinion he is not exceptional and had not developed. Once again it has to be in the HERE and NOW or by future speculation.❓ I have higher expectations it may seem for the SE only outstanding players in the HERE and NOW in club and league. Thats why if you don't attain quality I stop talking about you, there is no time to wait you find someone who is. |
Kog45:Agreed 💯 without question. At this stage your next club has to fit your unique skill set and improve you otherwise it can all go downwards badly. The next thing is maintaining greatness, players like Kane, Lewondoski, Ronaldo, Messi have maintained greatness. Benzema has been great but always in the shadows of Ronaldo when Ronaldo left his greatness came out winning the Ball at age 33. Lukaku, Salah, Haaland, have always been at the top level of scoring charts consistently season to season this is what makes them great. |
orriyomi33:This is the essence of football growth, progression into consistent continuous quality always improving It's taken several year's of failure, ups and downs challenges and contentions. Without the test there is no testimony, without the battle no victory, VICTOR has won his first step 🪜 to greatness. The next step 🪜 and hardest is to maintain greatness by continuously climbing 🪜and not stopping 🛑 |

to get the provision long and short term. This is the grave danger and minefield of pain and tribulation.
I'm seeing monikers that have gone nuts over personal insults to them in this thread speak philosophy
