charlesemeka85: so iwobi isn’t creative enough? Nawa to una oooo
Iwobi is one of the best dribblers we hv who can easily beat players in 1v1 situations as well as create something. It was the mumu coach that limited him in that game by playing him deeper
From our flanks they was no bite at all. Lookman looked confused while iheanacho tucked in more than staying on the right flank. Wen the game changed a bit when Simon came in and tried taking the opposition players on to create something
No matter how we insult chukwueze here he is still vital to the team. Samu is the kind of player that will take players on as well as attract free kicks in dangerous areas close to the opponent’s box. The only problem I hv with him is sometimes he tends to be selfish and wasteful What's the point of taking players on ,doing skill and dribbling with no END PRODUCT.❓ |

Marjoribanks: Football is not like that! There are club players and there are National team players and there are both! Nwakali is also a freekick specialist and doesn't need to shake like Iwobi before picking a pass. Also he is press resistant unlike Iwobi! If he is so exceptional with such a unique skill set. Then why has been consistently in retrogression since he arrived in Europe 🌍 8 years ago. He had been consistently and continuously REJECTED. It's only here the Dr 2 Know football ⚽ anylysts talk about him as quality. |

charlesemeka85: same here mate. We have enough midfielders just that jpes is a stubborn goat
Playing style or not Nwakali won’t add anything magical to our already existing midfield
It will be difficult to find a top African team that can boast of the type of midfielders we hv currently
Imagine having midfielders like
Ndidi Onyeka Iwobi Onyedika Ifeanyi Mathew Alhassan Fisayo Folorunsho
And someone is trying to convince me that nwakali is the missing puzzle? He should do that in his relegation threatened club in Portugal to keep them afloat for next season
A useless coach who hv tried accommodating 2-3 strikers with a lean midfield and it haven’t worked but he is still insisting on the same formation, Isn’t that total madness?
A country like England hv kane and in form Watkins but will never start both at the same time. Football of this era is won in the middle of the pitch not by deploying 6 attackers. The midfield is the engine/brain box of a team. Few teams that aren’t blessed with technical and creative midfielders play the ones they hv to their best potentials and abilities. We must not hv iniesta, xavi and zidane kinda midfielders to win the World Cup or even the afcon. Morocco made it to the semis without such midfielders, Senegal and ghana made it to the quarterfinals without such midfielders
All we need is a sound tactician who knows how well to utilize the players we have. This debate of the lack of technical and creative midfielders is becoming very boring Agreed without question ❓ while eating a very sweet Banga Soup 🍲 with Pounded yam . |

Marjoribanks: If Paserio wants to keep playing this formation then Nwakali is urgently needed. Collins was free most of the times but the midfielders just lack the precision needed to thread precise long balls. Osayi keeps passing backward instead of taking the ball to the line to cross. Iheanacho would rather pass to the midfield than do a 1 2 ball with Osayi. The team has no leadership no urgency.
Awoniyi is the major culprit. A striker's body language is important in a match, his body language was just off. Just like against Tunisia at AFCON where he refused to press as he did in the first two games and was just strolling on the pitch.
Onyeka is not a natural DM. He runs from 1v1 tackles cos of his injury history. Play Onyedika as the DM (can pass, mark and shoot). I watched South Africa and Benin today and those teams have nothing upfront!
This is a group we should be winning convincingly if the coach call up the right players. We had almost 18 corners and just 2 of those corners we were able to hit on target! How? We have more than 5 six foot players. Our corners should be synonymous to a penalty kick if the coach knows what he is doing!
Lookman schooled in Komekn football school yet can't kick ordinary corner kick. Pathetic . Don't raise your hope high tomorrow. See bad 😞 belle analysis+ palm 🌴 wine 🍷 joint with no roof appraisal. Ademola lookman scored 14 goals in Seria A last season already on 3 goals this season, player who is essentially a winger. Tobichimezie: If Passeiro abi Pisseiro fails to beat Zimbabwe on Sunday, he has TO BE FIRED ON THE SPOT, no too much grammar on that one, failure to do that then the NFF glasshouse should be vandalized and burnt down. Let FIFA ban us no wahala.
Going forward the overloading of strikers in our team at the expense of the midfield STOPS NOW. Ivory coast played a simple 433 with actual midfielders and the rest was history. The 424/442 madness ends now, with no Ndidi in that midfield it's madness asking Iwobi or the others to do the job a natural defensive midfielder should be doing. We don't need the likes of Moffi, Awoniyi, and Sadiq in the team, these players are more or less the same type of players. The front attack should only consist of Osimhen, Boniface, Gift Orban and Akor Adams (those last two because they actually have more ball playing skills and all round better goal scoring abilities than the likes of Awoniyi and Moffi).
Midfielders must always be at least 6-7 in number going forward, the invitation of only 4 midfielders stops now, we're not in the 90's when 442 was the order of football, now games are won or lost from the midfied!
Lastly players like Aribo should be phased out for good, he's in his late 20's now and has badly regressed, can't even get minutes in the freaking championship for goodness sake. The likes of Ifeanyi Matthew, Alhassan Yusuf, Folorunsho, Igoh Ogbu, Jordan Torunarigha and any of the fringe players who are having good seasons across Europe have to be called up now. That defence needs to be shored up cause Bassey just doesn't cut it for me. How did your come to that conclusion 🧐 objective based appraisal by comparison or prejudice. In actual no one player was outstanding against Lesotho. But the players you are making comparison with just don't cut it for me, they are not outstanding or an improvement in comparison to Aribo. Ifeanyi s midfielder plays in the Swiss Superleague it's rated below the Scottish and Turkish league. He has played 14 games and scored one goal 🥅 this season , what's so special. ❓ Is he better than Aribo, would he even get into the Southampton team ,have my doubts. Weekly salaries of Zurich is on par with Portsmouth in EFL League One. The same goes more or less for Alhassan Yusuf, he is almost anonymous on the Eridivise. Before Arsenal and other top clubs went for the young Arthur Vermeeren , was Alhassan Yusuf invisible.🥺 I don't think he would get into Southampton. Ogbu is a defender stuck in the obscurity of Czech league and other low level league for almost a decade. Then you mention another defender Jordan Torunarigha , who left is anonymous🙈 career in the much higher Bundesliga to find solace in the lower Belgium league that's not a sign of quality 🤔. None of these players you mentioned alongside Aribo are making waves. They are earning peanuts 🥜 because they are poor quality players, none of them earn anywhere what Aribo earns. I am not saying Aribo is Messi, I don't think he is exceptional but the players you mentioned are not better than him. With regards to the Championship, you think it's so low. Yet, KC is not even in the top 12 goal scorers in the league. Don't mention Awoniyi and Moffi in the same sentence as Sadiq that's an insult. They are not 🚫 comparable in any way. With regards to Gift Orban and Akor Adams , it's speculative to suggest they are better. Finally, Aribo is actually 27 but if he was born in Nigeria he would be 21., so forget that age comparison. |

mostob: All you typed here are unnecessary shalayes. What concerns Nigeria with the overaged players posted above? We are telling you age cheating is not limited to Africa alone, you're writing epistles.
BTW, the little political stuffs was unnecessary. It's apparent that you lack knowledge, have limited exposure and probably have never been and lived in a first world 🌍 country. In addition you have probably not had any participative engagement and or relationship with government bodies, structure and process management. You made your nonsensical proposition with reference to France. Your clearly in the dark 🌑🕶️ and have no idea what you are talking about. In France before a child is born, the conception will be registered and whole series of interactions around the antenatal care and welfare of the mother and child will be recorded and appraised. This is a process that will generate data and information that will be processed with multi faceted interaction with different organisations and government departments. There are legal accreditations that will entitle you to go to school, get medical care, your ID, etc. It's absolutely impossible to change your age because there is data corroboration in multiple government agencies. You would have to change your data in multiple data banks illegally that's simply impossible. In addition from the first day you join a local football club at age 5/6 that data is recorded and it's continuous. Finally, with regards to the politics is there anything that is UNTRUE. Is it relevant,100% it is . Because if government is without integrity and the personification of government is in the head 🗣️ of government the highest office on the land, THE PRESIDENT that's intrinsically relevant. And that President is confirmed and proven to be without a single iota of integrity, but instead is a Criminal convicted for drug dealing money laundering, certificate forgerery, ID 🆔 thief, Attended a secondary school that did not exist when he claimed to attend it. And one man here go come here dey shout automatic data capture. How many times have Nigerian players and African players been caught for age cheating ❓ Age cheating is a national and continental culture, because there is no automatic birth data capture. So you rely entirely on the integrity of the individual. We are in a country with no INTEGRITY at the highest levels 🎚️. That's essentially stupidity. We have kangaroo 🦘 court that ratified a criminal convict, certificate forgerer, money laundering, lD Thief who cannot remember the primary and secondary school he attended and nobody knows his age, as President of Nigeria 🇳🇬. Early this year I was in Lagos at a U14 international football ⚽ tournament PSG was in that tournament. The PSG back three defenders were all over 6ft and built like boxers. WORLD CUP QUALIFIER
Omeruo, Umar, Collins hit Super Eagles Camp in Uyo
Three players have arrived the Super Eagles camp in Uyo ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
Defenders Kenneth Omeruo from Kasimpasa in Turkey, Jamilu Collins of Cardiff FC in Wales and striker Sadiq Umar from Real Sociedad of Spain arrived the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo by 11am.
The Secretary of the Akwa Ibom State Football Normalization Committee, Sir John Etim received the players on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation.
More players are expected to hit camp today and tomorrow as preparation for the clash on Thursday gets underway.
#copied None of these players should be invited either expired, not good enough and do not add any quality going forward. They represent retrogression. I would ABSOLUTELY prefer Aina playing as a Left side wing back than any other player. Then Osayi can play RWB. |

charlesemeka85: even against Copenhagen in the first half before Rashford got sent off the team played very well
The biggest mistake the board will make is sacking 10 Hag. United need a good sporting director and few footballing heads to manage the club
Our scouting department is very bad and needs reshuffling. Heard many will be sacked and new faces brought in soon so I pray that happens
Casimero, varane, tominnay, maguire, erikson,Antony, martial, sancho etc needs to leave to make space for young, hungry and better talented players to come in. Left for me I will even advise that rashford should be sold When Gerrard made a complete hash of things at Aston villa they brought in Unai Emery. Exactly the same players that he Emery inherited but a vastly huge difference in the results. Villav are now competing for Europe the same goes for Tottenham. Players like Antony incredibly over priced and a flash in the pan almost zero outcome delivery ( end product) It's obvious that Ten hag wanted him. The EPL is not like all other league it' a lot more physical a lot faster and intense than any other league. It's not suited to all players and it not all players can adapt. Rashford goes to another league and he could easily be a top goal scorer.Dont dismiss him. My eyes 👀 are on Ten Hag as the problem. |

He took Manu Garba to watch a clip based on recommendation but a team doctor who knows nothing about football said NO,he was too slow and imagined the same doctor was part of under 15 team to UK but tried to deny the MVP of the summer camp the opportunity, meaning many players have lost out due to external influences of back room staffs whose primary functions does not relate to coaching….Manu Garba should not have mentioned the doctor in his narration
Taiwo Awoniyi a slow player?NO but it looked like one, checking his sprinted goal runs against Arsenal and Man utd proved he is not a slow one.
The saving grace of Taiwo Awoniyi till dates is hardworking, commitment and discipline cuz he knew he was not rated .
Respect to Stephen Keshi who gave Awoniyi his first super eagles call up in December 2013 alongside Iheanacho and Alampasu. He said young man you are going places cuz you are strong but only harwork does it. Players who get rated before they have achieved anything often don't make it. A good dose of FAILURE is a great thing , because the admittance of FAILURE is the beginning of SUCCESS. If a player foolishly believe the hype around him and looses focus, Discipline & Diligence. He will fail. I personally have seen more naturally exceptionally gifted ⚽ footballers who didn't make it than those who did. The best thing you can do is hard tough LOVE keeping saying you have not done NOTHING there is too much more to learn, but you are on the right path. There is a player I know in a premier league academy at 14 he had the second fastest sprint record in the history of the academy at 14. He had snow played for England he has a youth contract, witu the three major sports companies begging to endorse him. Against everybody else I don't think he will make it. ""He had this when we arrived at the club, he was injured. He has been injured until the end of September, so we have been building him up with the Under-21s," he said ahead of the FA Cup tie with MK Dons.
"I am waiting for him to get his form and be able to play games and then I will decide. He needs to show his best. Right now, he is not injured he is building up form to be able to play. He needs to show that he wants to play for us and is fully ready. He needs to show that he wants to play and do things for this football club.
"He needs to be fully fit to play football matches and when we have decided that he is fully fit we will review the parameters of commitment. He will play if we decide he will play. He needs to show a lot if he wants to play for me." Ovie isva moody guy and once had made up his mind it's made up. charlesemeka85: he should join spurs first before you conclude that Bissouma is better than him
Ndidi in the past hv done whatever Bissouma did at Brighton and is doing at Spurs currently so relax
I hate this mentality of advising our players not to move to certain clubs because of the fear of not having enough playing time. The thing dey boil me whenever I see such posts here. A player can only get better when he is playing with and against the very best
To be the best you hv to beat the best For how many seasons have multiple clubs been trying to get Bissouma, with different bids, all clubs in the EPL. Bissouma leaves and Brighton get Caicedo and once again everybody wants him to the extent Brighton rejected several very high bids. He has been like that for several seasons. He is not going to change all of a sudden. I believe that Ndidi is very good player but he simply not better than Bissouma, without prejudice. |

humility33: It shouldn't be surprising to you Komekn doesn't rate Nigeria players except the innit boys. You are so right. I had nothing good to say about the past and present players below; These players were all born in Little Lagos ( Peckham London) That's why I like them so much. Obagol Yakubu Yobo Ighalo Etebo Moffi Awoniyi Onuachu Dennis Boniface Iwobi V.O. Ndidi You are so intelligent with such an objective insight into football ⚽ you should be employed by Skysports. |
