chrisooblog: Evidence suggests otherwise. Nigerian/African players Like Mikel, John Utaka, Obinna Nsofor, William Ekong, Atsu of blessed memory and even Mahrez are all married or in serious relationship with white women.
Flip it to Asians or South Americans how many do you know are married or in a serious relationship with European oyibo? Heck Brazilian players wey be confirmed ashewo dem no dey marry oyibo unless she's from back home.
Look at America as well famous black American athletes Michael Jordan, OJ Simpson and Lamar Odom all married Caucasian women. "Rich black men from poor backgrounds" That's the demographic that you identified to quote you verbatim. You have changed the narrative and specifically have identified Nigerian/ African players. Remember I said to your it's the exception and not the rule. Selecting playeers from the Utaka, Nsofor, Mikel era 1. Yobo 2. Enyeama 3. Yakubu 4. Ikechukwu Uche 5. Anichebe 6. Obagol 7. Ahmed M. 8. Moses V. 9. Shittu 10. Elderson 11.ldeye 12.Taiwo Etc ,etc I will not go into the more recent era of players. You at essentially VERY WRONG and misguided in your assumptions. |

Curtisaxel10: This is a real problem, bro. I think rich black men from poor backgrounds see white women as status symbols just like iphones, yachts or sports cars. To them, white women are exotic creatures and symbols of their "arrival" into the world of wealth and success.
The painful part is that most of those white women would never have looked their way if they were just average or poor blokes.
Rich white men would almost NEVER go for a black woman especially if the woman in question is not wealthy and established in her own right or from a famous family.
So, rich black men want white women. Rich white men also want white women. Black women are now the leftovers abandoned for the average/broke dudes to eat.
Colonialism really damaged our collective mindset as a race. You are completely WRONG you are being stupendously ASSUMPTIVE. From a UK perspective firstly, let me say it as a Warri pesin. D time were I go take catch one fine black babe , I go collect 100 Onyibo. Black babes, will require a lot more substance, I need some lyrics, swag, substance, character and personality to get with a black babe in general. In the USA my experience is a bit warped, but l notice my English accent. Gets the Black American babes drooling my experience from Miami to Houston to NY. Europe more or less the same, and I don't include in my sample exported desperate OLOSHO from Benin and other places. Was in Lagos, a few months ago Portugal. The Brazilian babes just seem to go crazy for Naija guys. I personally did not date Oyibo babes for a duplicity of reasons. |

Sheffield Wednesday have three Nigerian in the team, two Midfielder and one defender.
Fisayo is good quality, l can see why AC Milan put in a bid for him. He has refused to sign a new contract and he will be a free agent with a duplicity of clubs lined up to sign him.

I was expecting a number of you to pick this up , maybe you did and I didn't notice. I am talking about Michael Folabi Dokunmu.
He came over to England when he was about U13 or thereabouts. Was on trial with several North West premier League clubs.
Indeed Man city wanted to sign him but restrictions on foreign players, etc stalled the move.
That boy went back to S.A. then came to Holland and now at 16 has played first team football for Vitesse Arnhem in the Eredivise.
He is playing for South Africa and played against Nigeria yesterday. Not sure he could have got selected for Nigeria anyway. |

That's grace. Nwakali can get that same grace. The basis for selection is continuous consistent oustanding performance, in any team , in comparison to the players available. What would be the criteria for Nwakali selection ❓ Choupo-Moting is not relevant he has never had to beg for a club and always overwhelmingly played in the top 5 first tier league of Europe. He is not a great striker but he does a competent job. |

NwaIdeato: It's noteworthy that an interesting and refreshing generation of brilliant midfielders are churning out from our youth teams, with the likes of Ndidi, Iwobi etc entering the twilight of their careers due to fitness issues etc, these young generation should be taking over the midfield in very short notice.

Cc: TheSuperNerd what do you think? Wow 😲 Wow 😳 They haven't played first team senior football ⚽ and you want them to take over from Iwobi. Iwobi is 27 (true age) and has a good 6/7 years more of top level competitive football left at least. Youth football even more so at U17 level is essentially talent yet to be developed, potential yet to be realised. As best it's indicative but very far from conclusive. What is more pertinent is the development programme, otherwise it will just be promise never realised. This is where mainland Europe get it so right, as well as the South Americans. It's quite normal to see boys graduate from the academy at 16 to be playing week in week out in the first Team (mens football). When you play with men it's totally different from youth football. In addition you are on a far higher quicker and qualitative development progression, compared to playing youth football ⚽. It's this mindset that has left too many of you in a misguided view even delusional, with regards to Nwakali. Had a great U17 World 🌎 cup and you are still waiting for him to be the next Pogba 8 years later. |

Meliforme: I hope you won't mind if i refer you back to this post of yours in the foreseeable future. Every post is time limited and the context is HERE and NOW. Nwakali left Huesca without any contract, his contract was terminated as soon as legally possible. He was a player without contract. He has spent two seasons in the Segunda division being exceptional and oustandingly amazing. That the only club that would take him was Ponferradina FC a bankrupt club and taking almost permanent abode in the relegation zone. |

Meliforme: A club's valuation of a player can be distant from the player's real value Agreed but the market never lies. You are only as good as what clubs are prepared to pay for you. Players like NWAKALI have no value, nobody is paying a transfer fee for him. He went to Ponferradina on a free, and at best in bankrupt club he will get a year or two. Essentially because the only place he is rated is here nowhere else. |

Truidstar: Nwakali and his club are going to be relegated. My own piece of advice is to change his advisers or agent. Talk to Osimhen to put in a good word for him at sporting Charleroi in Belgium. The visibility in the Belgian league is better. It’s all the way up from there. Bad market na bad market, no amount of marketing can change the quality of a product. Or you want to play packaging turn bread 🍞to chicken 🍗 , no matter the Baba u use eeee no go work.😝 |

Meliforme: Should you always tell us how much he earns. Nwakali's abilities are supposed to have command much more.
Nwakali's situation will improve dramatically, i am sure of it because i have seen it. Money 💵 is intrinsically related to o player value. Good players cost money 🤑. Poor quality players get paid low level. money . Your quality is linked to your monetary value , the money 🤑 clubs will pay to get you and the salary they will pay you ❓ Nwakali was the second lowest paid player in Huesca, they attempted to terminate his contract before it's expiry illegally. That is a very pertinent and undeniable assesment of his quality by the club and league. He moved after that embarrassment to an even lower club Ponferradina that is near bankrupt and has remained in the relegation zone since the start of the season essentially. So you cannot ignore the value of a player because it's directly linked to the players quality. In this regard money 🤑 cannot be ignored. |

In 2009 Nigeria hosted the U17 World cup ,this where we fielded men who were Uncles some close to 30. Chukwuemeka the Captain when challenged he denies and retorted that is it only me. The Brazilian team didn't win in fact they did not get far. However,in that team were Neymar, Coutinho, Casemiro, Allison ( goalkeeper). And look at where they have been and are going. codemaniacs: Its better for a Yoruba person to take a percentage of Yoruba wealth than a non-yoruba person taking from Yoruba wealth because it will still end up creating job opportunities for Yoruba people.
When CRV was contesting to be Lagos governor none of the Lagos LP electoral agents was Yoruba, all of them were Igbos which means if CRV had won Lagos then Yoruba's will become 3rd class people in their own state where Yorubas will all be sacked from the state civil service and become unemployed.
Which also means if Peter Obi had won presidential elections then non-igbos will be 3rd class people all over the country.
The problem with you igbos is since you lost the unitary system you created to favor only Igbos you guys have been trying to de-tribalize other Nigerians into supporting Igbos which will lead to non-igbos ( other Nigerians) self destruction and absolute destruction.
You're targeting Yorubas for your detribalization agenda but the fact that there are more Yorubas who are pro-Yoruba than the detribalized ones then Igbos plan is not working..
Focus on developing your region, instead of trying to detribalize and manipulate non-igbos into supporting Igbos that will hinder the progress of non-igbos. You are very retrogressive the opposite of a progressive Nigerian, most disappointing. |
