That's some serious stuff being acquired by junta dictator Assimi Goita ostensibly for the fight against terrorists but in reality for regime preservation as its with all unelected usurpers of power. His trained special forces eye is gleaned on ECOWAS and a potential invasion.

Clearly that guy continues to dig in from the start and exported his putschists credentials to Burkina Faso and now Guinea with backing of of no less Wagner elements and the Kremlin. Shouldn't have been allowed to happen, one of the failures of President Buhari's foreign policy in the West Africa sub-region & Africa in general except for The Gambia. Mali must be reined in.
Agreed without question.

I am sure I talked about this over a year ago, when I lost interest in this discourse, which has become praise singing hallelujah choir, by many here .

Presenting mediocrity and incompetence as oustanding professionalism with lots of glossy pictures.

If pictures could win a war then it would have beene by NOW. Donkeys ago I said the Turbo prop overpriced A29 aircraft were an absolute wause of money.

Many here said it is the game changers, has anything changed it it's got a lot worse.❓

Only armchair football experts will argue that Iheanacho won't get a decent club in the premier league to sign him if he decides to leave Leicester today..

What reputation ❓

One very good season out of 6 seasons so far the rest have been abysmally poor.

No amount of statistical manipulation is going to make him a top striker.

The key component for quality is CONSISTENCY, which in one regard he has been consistently poor.

You may wish to say because he didn't start games or enough game time. Luckily all the strikers for Leicester in the HERE and NOW are poor including Vardy.

All what you listed boiled down to mismanagement and corruption. I was expecting a different approach been that George weah is a well traveled man and is a former world best player but he has flatter to deceive.

You can check my earlier post where i listed some of the mineral resources Liberia can boast of. A good president should be able to raise the ladder a little bit, we have seen and read about what is happening in Rwanda there have put there past behind them.

The five south eastern state in Nigeria according to history, we were told was level down during the Nigeria civil war but all that is in the past and i bet you those five eastern state can compete favourable with other regions.

My point is this, am not knocking Liberia for not having a world class stadium to host matches am actually hit George weah for his lackluster attitude towards infrastructures, it's high time he returns the trust place on him by his people.
Dude it's a lot more complicated than that .

What is the substance and nature of duplicity of bilateral trade agreement that Liberia has signed with multiple Chinese Mining companies, last estimate 21.

We are Africans unfortunately we pursue self interest over national interest. High ranking government officials will mortgage the nation in dubious agreement 20 year + with little benefits for national growth. If they can get some perfunctory benefit of which the Chinese are very willing to oblige us with .

Please go a bit deeper George Weah inherited a system that with historical endemic corruption. He is doing damage limitation.

How does he extract the nation from exploitative long term agreements with these Chinese Mining companies ❓❓❓

Exposed?if he is really talented then he will scale through.I remember watching Kanu Nwankwo in Ilorin township stadium playing for Iwuanyawu Nationale against Ranchers bees in 91 FA cup and saw the same Kanu in Japan 93 squad after representing Nigeria in Mauritius 93 with under 21 team.He later had successful Europe career. As I said lack of credible birth data is just the issue....I just don’t know what happened to hospital birth certificate given to family at birth of a child.Till date,me and my siblings birth dates still intact
First problem there is no national credible birth data collation.

Because our country by nature has very high levels of truth, probity, honesty and unquestionable integrity. We can therefore rely on the integrity of local hospitals to not be induced or manipulated to create birth certificates.

No data...
How do you present your case to the court that he is above 20?

No birth date evidence
No witness from parents
No physiological or even carbon dating evidence
Just taking one look at him

People who suffered malnutrition at infancy, not treated fast diseases, hatch weather, etc are likely to look older than their ages

Go to Niger, Burkina Faso,Mauritania,Tchad, South Sudan,Sudan, etc you will see more

I have not defended him.. just the methodology used to arrive at his age is baffling
Africa!!!
How do you present your case that he is 18, please ❓

The bold is a perfunctory hypothesis that is not anchored on anything but sentiment as opposed to substantive research.

The study, which used data from 65 million children aged five to 19 years old in 193 countries, revealed that school-aged children’s height and weight, which are indicators of their health and quality of their diet, vary enormously around the world.

Country-by-country data is available on this link:

http://www.ncdrisc.org/data-visualisations.html

There was a 20cm difference between 19-year-olds in the tallest and shortest nations – this represented an eight-year growth gap for girls, and a six-year growth gap for boys. For instance, the study revealed that the average 19-year-old girl in Bangladesh and Guatemala (the nations with the world’s shortest girls) is the same height as an average 11-year-old girl in the Netherlands, the nation with the tallest boys and girls.

The international team behind the study warn that highly variable childhood nutrition, especially a lack of quality food, may lead to stunted growth and a rise in childhood obesity – affecting a child’s health and wellbeing for their entire life.

Manchester United and England star, and child poverty campaigner, Marcus Rashford MBE tweeted about the study.

Actually if your growth is stunted your more likely to look younger not older. That means your bones will have fusion much later not sooner.

Have you looked at the GDP of Liberia , do you know that a country of 5 million people has not up to 300 doctors.

On the scale of deprivation and poor socio-ecomomic infrastructure Liberia is a very poor nation with very limited resources.

And your are expecting them to build a s international standard stadium. My friend they don't have basic health infrastructure it's stadium they should build.

Update: Benfica Keeping Close Tabs On 18-Year-Old Goal-Poacher 🇳🇬🦅

Portuguese giants Benfica, will now be facing a tough opposition from Netherlands outfit Excelsior as the duo battle for the signature of high flying Flying Eagles goal-poacher Rilwan Sarki.

The teenager is currently doing big things for the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, the most recent was his Performance against the Junior Chipolopolo of Zambia during an international friendly in Abuja last week.

In that match, he scored the opener and have two of his goals denied by the woodwork; at the time of his substitution, the kid was given a standing ovation.

Revelation from a football agent based in Portugal has it that Benfica has been monitoring the teenager since their camp reopened in January this year, and will make a final decision after the tournament in Egypt.

Benfica is known for harvesting grassroots players and turning them into world-class; no doubt it will surely be a good move for the Nigerian if the deal goes through.

You weren't born in Nigeria means your siblings weren't also born in Nigeria or left Nigeria before they were 5-7 years old which also means your parents aren't living in Nigeria which means the only and major reason you visit Nigeria is to see your grandparents.

If you're sending money to Nigeria then you're sending it to your grandparents.. since your parents paid for you and your siblings University education please don't finish their money because the last I heard, people are protesting in the U.K..

Unlike you Ihenacho siblings and parents and grandparents are living in Nigeria. The friends he made from nursery to primary to secondary School and the football academy he attended in Nigeria are living in Nigeria and he has more reasons to visit Nigeria more often than you.

Asisat Oshoala has so many projects she does in Nigeria for the schools she attended and young girls.

Most foreign borns don't have anything to do with their parents country.
Once again you are being assumptive in the negative. Assuming you know but you don't. Your view is very limited and condescending, it's not knowledge but the opposite.

First of all you cannot create a parochial biased and sorry ignorant of definition of , what it means to or not be born in Nigeria.

That's simply ludicrous, a definition created by yourself for yourself to suit your own narrative it is birthed from unenlightenment.

I was born in the UK 🇬🇧 along with my siblings My Father is an academic as well at the time an officer in the British Army, my mother a medic.

After high school at a Warri Gbeghe Gidigbo school then after brain reset ( Onyibo mentality destroyed) , I returned for university, parents did not pay any fees for me. University has a grant system.

My parents are in Delta, my Grand father had several wives. That's lots of uncles and Aunties both sides , several first cousins lived with us, we consider them as brothers and sisters.

My classmates from High school and university in England are Directors, Heads of Corporate affairs, politicians, Business entrepreneurs, etc in Nigeria a few are in the Military. At university in England some of my classmates parents were Governors and Generals ,Rear Admirals in the Military .

Some of them were sons and daughters of farmers, petty traders, Pastors, etc living in remote parts of Nigeria.

I will not talk about what I do for people that I know and don't know, God knows, that's all I need. I have friends who earn 40k a month, etc

I have considerable interests in Nigeria sometimes I visit the most senior paramount ruler's in my tribe, Isoko/ Uhrobo.

My father lectured at UNN I speak Igbo, as well as bits of Yoruba and my language as well as Warri pigeon fluently.

I deh waka for night drive from Warri to Benin midnight no shakin I rugged dye. When I reach Warri I be area.

You simply have no idea about Nigerians born outside of Nigeria, my friends invest millions of pounds in the Nigerian economy.

Finally, do you know how many born and brought up in Nigerian citizens once they JAKPA burn their passport and refuse to return back ❓❓

Finally finally ,2021 I was in Nigeria for 7 months plus over three trips.

The answer to your question is in your write up...

Ihenacho is not foreign born. So a lot of the money he makes he sends it back to Nigeria. The only thing he will pay for in England will be housing, food, children's school fees e.t.c.

Depending on if he marries a Nigerian or e:uropean, he will likely come back to Nigeria and spend his money unlike Mikel Obi who luckily has a wife who's also has her own millions.

The salary ihenacho gets at Leicester may have exceeded his ambitions and that may be one of the reasons he is comfortable there.
Your are making very wild assumptions.

What % of Nigerians want to permanently JAKPA from the country ❓❓

Why do you think that KC wants to return to Nigeria and he sends most of his money to a volatile economy. Is that what he told you ❓

Seyi Olofinjana ex Nigerian born international l remember him as a coach in Wolves. He is now Sporting Director at Zurich in Switzerland. Why did he not return to Kwara state ❓

You are way too assumptive

I send considerable amounts of money to Nigeria I have several interests in Nigeria . But I was not born in Nigeria and only went secondary school in Warri. I went to two Russel group universities in England.

So according to you I should have nothing to do with Nigeria, because I was not born there.

Because then born pesin for Burger king EEE no mean say you be Beefburger na.

I wouldn't want to b seen as if I'm biased towards foreign borns because I'm not, they r all Nigerians even though some of them rejects us ,I didn't want to say much ,cos I consider it sensitive .

Nevertheless ,here r few things.
We(super eagles true fans) want a never say die Nigeria attitude returned to d team.
That fighting spirit that saw us came back from 2 goals down against Brazil n won d March at Olympic semi finals ,d same happens against Argentina at d Olympic final, and Tunisia '94 final against Zambia .

We want that passion that Sunday Olise even though he was sick but seing that we were losing against Senegal had to took d risk n asked d coach to sub him in,he went in n helped d team to win d game.

We want quality talents that can b able to compete at the highest level ,against top opposition .
We should b aiming to battle against d likes of Netherlands ,Belgium ,England ,Portugal and Croatia without being afraid of losing but to win.
We should also b able to give the likes of Brazil,France ,Germany ,Argentina and Italy a run for their money .
These r d things that comes to my mind first whenever I want to weigh and consider a player for d SEs,can he compete at d highest level?
We want players that is ready to give their all and win us trophies not just to participate .only Osimhen n very few others have this traits now.

So some of these players and the ones u keep suggesting can't give us these
.

We also want a defined pattern which we were known 4 returned ,this is d work of a coach anyway .

I'm not in anyway against professionalism but there r certain thins that our home grown can take from d NFF n still performed which d foreign grown can't,
for instance they said that d nff asked the u-20 foreign players to pay 4 their flight tickets n get refund after, but one of d foreign grown refused to come because of this.
I'm not with d nff but d home grown foreign players would gladly pay 4 d flight ticket to make sure he honored d call.
First of all the terminology Attitude is dangerously subjective, it's a perceptive variable. Okocha was always smiling when he played some mangers perceive that as bad attitude.

Some of you here have said Victor Moses had a bad attitude. Again that's a negative perception about a person many of you don't know and never will.

Let me tell you I know over 20 Nigeria internationals present and past . And they all confirm that ticket prices never get refunded. It's just the convention and the way things are done in the NFF.

Now because you condone , incompetence and accept corruption and have low expectations, that's your problem. Not the invited players from abroad.

Please don't expect players coming from Europe ,etc to drop the general standards of probity, integrity, and process management. To accomodate, corruption, crass incompetence and unprofessional behaviour because you think it's OK in Nigeria.

First of all players birthed in Europe, doing well do not need the SE to boost thier careers. Players birthed in Nigeria from local football ⚽ desperately need National team recognition to get into Europe.

As a consequence will sign over all their bonuses to NFF officials and sign up with the preferred agents of NFF godfathers. They essentially will do anything and accept anything to JAKPA , that's not honourable but deplorable.

Considering the bold, please name all the players including the ones I keep suggesting please (can't give us these) ❓

Now tell us the Nigerian U20 players that you have compared to the Nigerian origin players birthed in Europe and who are at football clubs in Europe that are not as good as the Nigerian U20 players please ❓❓

Please don't use general terms be specific with names dont be assumptive, you make an assertion back it up with facts , figures and names please.

My good man Komekn. Applying your law of here and now. Vardy has played 21games with 15 starts. Scored only 2 goals with 2 assists. In here and now principle, is he doing okhuh If you were a coach, You keep mentioning past 6 seasons. Vardy has lost form. Daka is not up there also, the only option they have is KC and he still kept him on the bench while you keep getting closer to relegation zone. Unless your here and now has clauses.
Vardy has been consistent for over a decade and is now loosing form no surprise.

However, KC has been consistently poor apart from one season out of his 6 seasons.

So in the Here and Now l think the Manager has more confidence in Vardy than Daka and KC very simple. You are also dismissive of Daka he has scored 3 goals this season and KC has scored 2

Whether you start a game or come in as a substitute is irrelevant.

In reality coming on as a substitute is probably more advantageous. First of all the larger percentage of goals are scored in the second half of games and a whopping 15% after the 79th minute.

When you come on as substitute you have a higher chance of scoring than if you start statistically speaking.

Essentially when you come in the second half particularly with 20 minutes to go. Teams are now struggling with fatigue are tired loose concentration and are prone to errors.

So this , nonsensical proposition theory propagated by many here has no rational and or substance. That it, if you start a game you will score more goals. It's a load of codswallop and balderdash.

15starts. Just 2 goals and 2 assists. Your here and now is used only when it suits your narrative. You are bringing past 5 years exploits. But we are discussing here and now. Vardy is out of form this season. If Rodgers continue playing him this season, they will enter the relegation battle. There is no way KC will start all those much games without hitting goals. Just admit that Vardy has lost it and the earlier KC starts games the better for Rodgers. Here and now. KC trumps. I get am before no be property.
Vardy is definitely off the boil but has been outstanding for over a decade for Leicester City.

By comparison after 6 seasons KC has had one good season and he scored 12 goals that same season Vardy scored 15 that's 2020/21.

Starting games is not a guarantee that you MUST and WILL score .

It's irrelevant whether you start or just get 20 minutes. Just make sure you make a difference the more you perform the more your will play .

And don't forget you have another under performing striker Daka just like KC, all fighting for a start but both are the same essentially not very good.

I don't believe a country's performance in world cups and Continental competitions are a significant metric to judge the football administration.

People tend to be deceived by all these because they're more notable and spectacular. However, winning world cups depends more on team form, talent, mentality, coaching and luck (favorable games). Senegal won two trophies on penalties which have a lot to do with luck.

Besides these cups run over a short period of time (not more than a month) at long intervals (years). A simple red card can damage all you prepared for.

Where I look out for is player welfare and the development of the local league. Yes this could translate to good showings at the WC, but not all the time. If NFF works on the local league and takes care of the national team, it is not a guarantee that we would reach the round of 16 at the world cup, but they would have done excellently well.

So let's start from the professional league in Senegal. How good is it doing? How professional and profitable is it? If it is nothing to write home about, then all these trophies are just a facade.
From a perfunctory view ,the key 🗝️ factor is that Francophone countries have immediate acces to French league without many obstacles.

I suspect that most likely 70% of the Senegal's players would have come out of the French league at one time or another before progressing to other leagues.

Always liverpool. Liverpool. One game out of many. This season alone, Vardy has been firing blanks. Have KC gotten any chance to start at all. No. If it were to be KC that have gone this far without scoring I bet in you "here and now" logic. You for don throw am go U21. Abi u dey use am when it suits you.
Here and Now KC is poor there is no window dressing, last season he was poor the season before that he was very good getting 12 goals but the three season before he was abysmal. In 6 seasons at Leicester city he has one very good season and 5 abysmally poor seasons.

On the other hand Vardy has had over ten exceptional good seasons and this is first bad season at age 36 .

Who would you give the benefit of the doubt if you ar neutral and objective.

The comparison statistics are there below, you have an emotive preference for KC not an objective one.

If you want to recommend league one players , go ahead. I’m waiting.
I am not recommending league one players because I have higher expectations for the SE.

However, NWAKALI level his club and his segment of the Segunda division, is considerably below league one.

Let's have an objective appraisal not an emotive one based on perceptive preference.

Do you think that the lower segment of the Segundo division is better than English league one. And if yes substantiate your position please. Let me appreciate your point of view and if possible debunk it .

You ready , Ukodo is on the fire 🔥 cooking.

I am not a KC fan but this right here is why you get hard knocks on this thread regularly

For someone who has delivered everytime he starts, KC is not impotent

In fact sef, this is the wrongest time to call him impotent especially after he had a good game

Na you sabi
I am not sure where you got it, the assertion in bold ❓

What's disappointing I have an example of where KC started against Liverpool Dec 28 2021 , did not have a single shot on target.

Ademola came on as KC left within seconds had changed the game, scored after three minutes and got the MOTM award against Liverpool.

So effectively you have joined the rabble in telling untruths and lies to support a false narrative in this case so called theory.

The untruthful over hype gang started off with he doesn't get enough minutes, when that lacked credibility.

You've changed the goal posts to he didnt start games thatd why has not scored. Last season he played the same number of games as Ademola scored 4 Ademola scored 6 as a winger.

Rashford was benched for disciplinary reasons against Wolves December 31st last year. Comes on as a substitute and scores the winning goal.

This whole narrative that because KC doesn't start that's why he has only scored 2 goals in 15 games. It without any substance whatsoever.

Iheanacho doesn't like himself either. We were all here when Cancelo forced a move out of Man city just because of playing time. What do I know. Na him career.
You normally force a move when you know that you have a club that expressed definite interest in you .

That interest is not always made public , so far nobody is interested in KC and willing to pay near £100K a week for an impotent striker for the much larger part of his career.
