My point is simple, how many chances created by Nottingham this season. This is a team that lack possessive football and you believe Haaland will score goals,am not disrespecting Haaland but used him as a study on how awful Nottingham team play.... Happy New Year bro.
When Man City brought in Haaland they changed their system and got rid of Raheem, Gabriel J. etc

Strategy and focus change.

Previously the goals in city where almost evenly distributed. But look now you have an overemphasis on Haaland, essentially all players have a one job find HAALAND.

In the same way Nottingham Forest will change thier focus , strategy and system.

Dennis and Johnson on the wings with the core focus to find HAALAND and you think at this stage he will not have at the very least 10 goals in my opinion more like 15.

You know some Opinions like yours below are just products of irrelevant babblings and the shameless urge to pour cold water on a player you always tagged "not good enough for the U23 teams of Championship sides". If Tammy was on this list, you won't drop this downplay track.

That Haaland is not on the list shows he didn't take as much shots in 2022. Such is his Clinicality that he has to take less yet still has lots of goals.

Mbappe is on this list. Has the most shots in 2022 and also finished 2022 as the Top Scorer in the Calendar Year.

Now... on a flip note.

Haaland has 21 goals. Great. But with his 21 goals, Man City are still 7 points behind Arsenal.

Osimhen with his 9 goals has Napoli 8 points ahead of everyone else in Italy.

Perspectives matter. So resist the urge to downplay shamelessly.
Perspective is paramount.

The EPL is a far superior league to Seria A.

Mark Arnautovich who was not particularly outstanding in the EPL has 8 goals right next to VO and his team Bologna is 10 places below , so what does that prove, he has not had anywhere near the number of shots of VO. That's why he is not on the list.

Would you say Arnautovich is better than VO ❓ Statistically speaking by ratio of goals to shots, you definitely would not .

These stats are superficial nonsense they say NOTHING of real .

You make no rational sense just create nonsensical proposition without any substance.

Neymar, Lacazette, Moffi and Folarin have 10 goals or more but are not on the list , that's more goals than V.O. . Will you say that they are better strikers than V.O. I would not. Because they have had far less shots on goal ❓❓

I reiterate statistics are just indicators particularly taken in isolation of without other variables.

Please resist the urge to worship unnecessarily and over hype with misinformation and disinformation

More on Taiwo Awoniyi's performance today.

Was a handful for Chelsea especially in the second half. Bested a Beast CB in Koulibaly across a couple of physical duels as well.

Chelsea had an off day and Nottingham forest took advantage, l actually don't see Potter lasting too long.

Well said Oga Komekn, even I don't see Haaland scoring 20 goals in that Nottingham team.
Are you serious.

Haaland in this team at this stage of the season will have at least 15 goals, they would change thier formation with Johnson on the right and Dennis on the left . Feeding the ball to Haaland, crosses and through balls, with dominating hold up play by Haaland and you think he will not score goals

Was watching a Johnson break in the match and Awoniyi was struggling to keep up just too slow or if you like Johnson is too fast.

In this team I would rather play Dennis and Johnson as they would in my opinion complement each other.

2022 Flashback: Victor Osimhen Among Players with Most Shots in the 2022 Calendar year within the European Top 5 Leagues.

In Elite Sharpshooters' company. Partly explains his goals form as the more shots he takes, the more chances are there that he would hit the target.

The Monster Machine carries this form into 2023. Expecting more fireworks. cool

Meanwhile... Mbappe tops this Class.
You know some statistics are an exercise in irrelevant nonsense , they tell you nothing and indicate nothing.

Haaland has scored 21 goals and he is not on the list and Arnautovich who is next to V.O. in Seria A goals table is not on the list. Salah is on the list but has only scored 7 this season, meanwhile Mitrovic is not on the list and he has scored 12 in the EPL.

If anything it could be seen in the negative as poor marksmanship Salah 120 shots 7 goals.

Statistics are indicative and far from being conclusive depending on the variable.

Eguavoen is the technical director, doesn’t matter if it’s a tradition or they’ve been doing it for the past 5biliion years it is a very terrible thing that shouldn’t be happening, if a coach or the NFF want to scout a player the player should never have to foot the bill
I really don't know which country you reside.

Tosin paid for his flight ticket also gifted him match day ticket, this is very very wrong it looks like he’s paying his way to the team (wouldn’t rule out giving him something small too)
If you were privy to general log standing organizational culture in the NFF when the Nigerian origin national team coach visits players, you wouldn't make that comment.

I am talking about the unspoken expectations. For instance, I know that when a Nigerian national team coach visited, the players paid his 5 star hotel bill and to make him comfortable he was entertained with female escorts (at his request) and to show appreciation the brown envelope was given.

So what Tosin is doing in broad daylight is really nothing, Eguavon is not even the head coach of the SE.

Hope Liverpool fans are beginning to see what I have been saying about the dude. He has never added anything to the team

He just runs around the pitch doing nothing of note. Did same at the world cup

I am probably the only Liverpool fan that sees him for who he is. An overrated midfielder who got lucky playing in the klopp era. The guy is utterly useless
Henderson has never been technical astute with bags of skill.

His attributes are hard work, more hard work and keep working hard and he will do that for 90+ minutes non stop in addition he had a good amount of game intelligence and anticipation.

He is what the French call a water carrier, however he is in the engine room and enables the more technically gifted players to play better.

He was born in the USA but left at 2 years old and has always lived in England.

I didn't realise that he was born in the USA that is definitely another option for him and changes the dynamics considerably.

The USA is a better team and option for him as they will probably always qualify for the World cup.

By the time Chuba Akpom went to Greece, you would have decided his career was over. Now he has fought his way out from the dungeon, you are dropping his hit single like a DJ who just got a raise.
You are very wrong emotive town crier.

I had written him off well before that when he was at Hull City in 2016 and felt he couldn't transition from youth football ⚽ to first team.

Once a player is not performing it's a short term career, l concentrate on those who are. I don't keep flogging year in year out a dead horse like you do, over your Midfield maestro Nwakali , never do well player.

I have noticed his very recent resurrection in his third season in the championship, but with reservations that it may be a flash in the pan.

What makes a player quality is consistency after 10 years of football this is first good season. I am not getting all euphoric just muted appreciation.

Against all expectations and after being in doldrums for so long after promising so much as a stupendously prolific striker for Arsenal youth .

Chuba Akpom has finally come alive it seems he is now the top goal scorer in the Championship that is a feat in itself.

He has been around the world and without much impact indeed his last two seasons in the Championship he has been anonymous.

What's changed I absolutely don't know is it a flash in the pan and next season he will resort back to his consistent MEDIOCRITY it's hard to say.

How many goals will he score before the end of the season, can't predict will his form continue just don't know.

Is he better than the larger majority of our strikers firing blanks like KC, Awoniyi, Dennis , Who can tell ❓

Am l SURPRISED yes very much so

1) will give us more options in the defense
2) will improve the life of Olisa Ndah and hopefully his nuclear and extended families
3) add to our economy as at least im go build house or houses which during construction will feed many mouths.
4) perhaps Olisah will do like Musa, Ighalo, Oshoala and Nwakali and engage in charitable givings and community development.
In general to do significant charity works you will need to have a good wage.

How will Nwakali who is earning well below €3k a week gross before tax begin to do charity work.❓

they don’t put that into consideration. Once the player is performing they don’t care to knw the quality of the opposition he faces week in week out cheesy
This is a why I talk about the Championship as the best second tier by miles.

First of money gets you be the best players, and that makes the league way more competitive. Look at how many players leave the Championship to the top 5 Leagues in Europe and perform.

Best arguably, young Midfielder in the world, left Birmingham to Dortmund at £25 million now it looks like a bargain, because it's going to exceed £100 million.

A top player in the Championship is much more adaptable to the rigours of the EPL and quality requirements.

You will notice that the former top goal scorers in the Championship Mitrovic and Toney are among the top 5 in the current EPL.

Sometimes going to the Championship from another top level league may not work out . The physicality and intensity is second to none and if you look at Etebo he didn't find it easy yet he's one of our best Midfielders.

Compared to the Segundo they are miles apart . No Academy team in the EPL van beat a Championship team even on a bad day. No EPL Academy team will beat a league one team.
