Ofu.nao.fu: The traditional ruler of Idumuje-Unor in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty Obi Charles Chukwunweike Anyasi III, has affirmed that the people of Delta North Senatorial District, popularly called Anioma, are Igbos.
Speaking during a special TVC interview programme, Behind the Headlines, Obi Anyasi III said while there are claims of different ancestries, Aniomas are “statutorily Igbos,” adding that Senator Ned Nwoko was correct in his classification.
Explaining the origin of the term “Anioma,” the monarch recalled that it was coined by Sir Dennis Osadebay, with “A” standing for Aniocha, “N” for Ndokwa, “I” for Ika, and “O” for Oshimili, while the letters “M” and “A” were added for poetic effect. He described Anioma as “empowered by nature,” with a land mass of about 6,000 square kilometres and a population of roughly two million, blessed with a strong workforce, industries, cultural artefacts, and vibrant traditions.
Tracing the history of Anioma statehood, Obi Anyasi noted that the agitation began in 1954 under the Lyttleton Constitution, considered Nigeria’s first true federal constitution, with Osadebay leading the struggle. He said the push for Anioma has witnessed nine phases of agitation and gained renewed momentum after Senator Ned Nwoko introduced a bill for the creation of Anioma State in the 10th Senate.
“This agitation represents a natural desire you cannot take away from the people,” the monarch stressed.
On which geopolitical zone Anioma should belong to, he said:
“If you ask me personally, I would say South-South. But with the current political realities, it may not work well. The mindset of the President speaks to balancing the federation, since the South-East currently has only five states. If the optics favour the South-East, and we cannot change it, why don’t we accept it?”
The monarch further argued that the creation of Anioma State would bring governance closer to the people and open up more opportunities.
“The dividends of democracy will come closer with Anioma State. We have moved from Midwest to Bendel to where we are now. We shouldn’t fear the future. With all we have, we can seek self-determination,” he said.
He commended Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing him as one of the best the state has had, while adding that “desire is inexhaustible.”
Moderator of the TVC programme, Nifemi Oguntoye, described Obi Anyasi III as a royal father who embodies both the cultural heritage and modern aspirations of Anioma people, noting that his voice reinforces the argument that Anioma is not only a viable entity but also a historical necessity in balancing Nigeria’s geopolitical structure.

FIRDAUS3: I am Israel. I never miss a chance to claim victimhood while inflicting violence.
In 1947, the United Nations handed me more than half of someone else’s land. A gift I didn’t earn, from colonial powers who didn’t own it. I accepted. My neighbors objected. I called it war—and in the chaos, I began my cleansing. Over 700,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes—some fled, yes—but many were forced out at gunpoint, their villages razed, their names erased.
Then I planted pine trees over the ruins—to hide the memory. Forests where homes once stood. Parks over cemeteries. I made it green so the world wouldn’t see the black underneath. I called it “reforestation.” They called it erasure.
I am Israel. I have never chosen peace—only dominance.
In 1967, I launched a pre-emptive war and seized Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, and Sinai. I claimed it was for security. I held onto it for power. I built settlements, one by one, choking Palestinian towns. International law said it was illegal. I ignored it. My map grew. Their freedom shrank.
I am Israel. I could have ended the occupation. Many times. But I always said no.
In 2000, at Camp David, I offered a patchwork of disconnected enclaves surrounded by walls, checkpoints, and soldiers. I called it peace. Palestinians walked away. I called them extremists. Then I built a wall, not on my border—but deep in theirs. I called it security. They called it theft.
I am Israel. I glorify militarism. I raise children to believe they are chosen.
My textbooks erase Palestine. My soldiers patrol streets with rifles pointed at teenagers. My media justifies bombings. My politicians joke about flattening Gaza. I send airstrikes to refugee camps, schools, and hospitals. Then I say they were human shields.
I am Israel. I elected Netanyahu. Again and again.
Not once, by mistake. But knowingly. I voted for leaders who vowed to crush the Palestinians, to expand settlements, to never allow a Palestinian state. My ministers speak of “the Arabs” as a demographic threat. My settlers burn olive trees. My mobs chant “Death to Arabs.” I call it patriotism.
I am Israel. I speak of democracy—but deny it to millions under my control.
I rule over millions who cannot vote in the country that controls their lives. I build roads they cannot drive on. I issue permits for them to breathe, to move, to live. I bomb Gaza, then seal it off and say it’s their fault. I say I left Gaza—but I control its air, sea, and borders. I say they are free—then I starve them.
I am Israel. I demand recognition—but give none in return.
I demand that Palestinians accept me as a Jewish state—while refusing to even say the word “Nakba.” I ignore the homes, lands, and history of those I displaced. I hold their keys in museums, not their hands. I deny the refugees their right to return. I make laws that call them “absentees,” even when they’re just over the hill.
I am Israel. I cry antisemitism—when what I fear is accountability.
I call any critic a hater. I blur the line between Judaism and Zionism, using one to shield the crimes of the other. I weaponize history to excuse apartheid. I manipulate trauma to justify conquest. I say “Never again”—but let it happen to others, by my own hand.

An update and pictures of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, Ibadan upgrade being executed by the Oyo State Government under Governor Seyi Makinde.
The Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport is undergoing a transformation to an international airport, with significant progress being made since our last update.
Local flight operations are expected to resume before the end of 2025, following the temporary closure of the airport in March 2025 to fast-track the project.
The upgrade, officially flagged off on 18 September 2024, is part of a comprehensive plan to bring the airport up to international standards, improving domestic and global air connectivity for Oyo State. The upgrade was split into phases for effective implementation.
What’s Being Done? Runway Extension and Widening: The airport’s runway is being extended from 2,400 metres to 3,000 metres, and widened from 45 to 60 metres, to accommodate wide-body aircraft capable of international travel.
Airfield Lighting Upgrade:
The lighting system has been enhanced to Category C standards, improving visibility and flight safety. Fire Safety and Emergency Readiness: The airport’s firefighting response has been upgraded to meet international aviation safety requirements.
Customs and Immigration Infrastructure: Facilities for Customs, Immigration, and other essential agencies are being installed to support international operations.
Progress and Timelines:
The runway, apron, taxiway, and blast pads are currently 55% completed and are expected to be ready by December 2025, pending final approval from relevant aviation authorities. The construction of a new International Terminal is currently at 15% completion and is projected to be completed by June 2026. This terminal will increase passenger handling capacity from 100,000 to 1,000,000 annually.
What’s Already Done: To support the upgrade of the airport, the following projects were implemented by the Oyo State Government.
First, the 3.2 km Airport Road (now Victor Omololu Olunloyo Road) was dualised. A 500,000 litres aviation fuel storage and dispensing system was also installed at the airport concessioned to BOVAS and Company Limited.
A new fire truck was also donated to the airport by the OYSG.
Looking Ahead: Once completed, the upgraded Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport will be capable of handling larger aircraft, facilitating both domestic and international flights.
This development aligns with the State Government’s long-term vision of positioning Ibadan as a modern transportation hub. Notably, the next Hajj pilgrimage flight in 2026 is expected to depart directly from Ibadan, marking a milestone in the airport’s expanded capacity.
By investing in strategic infrastructure upgrades, Oyo State is strengthening its economic and logistical profile, creating greater opportunities for trade, tourism, and international engagement.
NOT bad at all.
The tearing down and total reconstruction of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA in Ikeja, Lagos State, has ALSO started as seen in videos online this week. It's a positive thing these upgrades are being made.
Biglittlelois: Where are those saying Jews are not ancestral yo Israel
In REALITY, some of these "Jews" are of "Sephardic Jewish" Middle Eastern ancestries based on the DNA tests done, BUT MOST of those "Ashkenazi Jews" of Europe who also migrated to North America are of the Caucasus region roots or ancestry (Read up on the Kazars or Khazars) whose rulers converted to Judaism. These Khazars are NOT ancestrally indigenous to the Middle East but have migrated to Israel over the years to claim citizenship. DNA testings have unraveled the true ancestries of a lot of them.
1,600-year-old COIN HOARD UNEARTHED IN GALILEE TUNNELS REVEALS EVIDENCE OF THE LAST JEWISH REBELLION AGAINST ROME
Archaeologists in Israel recently found an ancient treasure hoard dating back more than 1,600 years – not far from where Jesus carried out much of his ministry.
The coins were found at Hukok, a kibbutz in northern Israel, according to the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA).
Hukok is roughly three miles west of Capernaum, an ancient fishing town where JESUS preached and performed miracles.
Hukok and Capernaum are part of the Galilee region, which stretches from Israel’s Jezreel Valley to the border of Lebanon.
The IAA said that they date back to the 4th century A.D., over 1,600 years ago.
They were left by Jews during the Gallus Revolt, the last Jewish uprising under Roman rule, between 351 and 352 AD.
The hoard consists of 22 bronze coins found “in a small crevice prepared deep in an underground hiding complex,” the IAA noted.
IAA researcher Uri Berger said the hoard’s location suggests it was “carefully planned its hiding place, [with its owners] hoping to return to it when the threatening troubles were over.”
The coins were found in a pit at the end of a narrow, winding tunnel.
Interestingly, the hiding complex also dates back to earlier revolts, such as the Great Revolt in the first century A.D. and the Bar-Kochba Revolt, between 132 and 136 A.D.
“This shows that hundreds of years after these tunnels were dug out, they were reused,” the IAA noted.
“The hoard provides, in all probability, unique evidence that this hiding complex was used in one way or another during another crisis – during the Gallus Revolt – a rebellion for which we have only scant historical evidence of its existence.”
Researchers were “great[ly] surprised” by the discovery, which was found by volunteers excavating the complex for tourism development.
“Fortunately, it was the many volunteers excavating the hiding complex who actually uncovered this important treasure, and they enjoyed this great moment of the joy and excitement of discovery,” the IAA’s Einat Ambar-Armon said.
“The excavation thus became not only an important scientific event, but also a significant communal educational experience – one that brings the public closer to its heritage, and strengthens the sense of belonging and the connection to the past.”
They've started excavating things again to sway the public opinions of the international community now that MOST countries of the world in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, Caribbean, and a lot of folks in North America are rooting for Palestine to be recognized. A pure art of beneath-the-radar mind control.
Over 600 journalists have officially LOST their lives while covering the Gaza situation so far (with the State of Israel led by Netanyahu being indicted for war crimes). In addition, several mass protests by Israeli Jewish citizens have taken place WITHIN the last two months against the unwise, continuation of war in Gaza and the targeted killings of civilians, aid workers and journalists by Israel, while Israeli hostages are still in captivity instead of negotiating with Hamas to bring them back home to their families.
mascot87: Guys can you now see that PBAT is a genius. Prof. Yemi Osinbajo came first in his assessment and when it was time to choose the Vice Presidential candidate in 2015, he choose competence over every other thing and choose Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. Based on the performance of Prof. Yemi Osibanjo as the VP of Nigeria, did he justify the assessment conducted by PBAT? The answer is YES.
PBAT is genuine, a leader and a visionary man.
And we can see that still based on their performance, most of the top guys are working with him presently as the President. PBAT isn't a psychopath but a man of integrity.
Show me a governor amongst his peers that can boast of such and transparently.
True that.
The major thing I like about the now President 'Bola Tinubu of Nigeria is that he's a technocrat who easily identifies professionally talented folks (and others from various stratas of life) and elevates them based on merit. It's totally NOT strange though being that he worked with Mobil Oil (now ExxonMobil, a major multinational oil and gas company) after returning to Nigeria from the United States in the early 1980s as a Chartered Accountant, Auditor, and Senior Treasurer with Mobil Oil (ExxonMobil) before becoming a Senator in the political space back in the early 1990s. That's a great feat.
