blackchild09: 100% but the difference in course given I thinks it's very rare and mostly mistake on the path of jamb and they are usually corrected during main screening at the school.

yea its a v.rare occurance bt same thing happened to 'miss lade' then she had no choice than to take the school option....

blackchild09: Actually I think the way it works Is the school gives admission then send it to jamb for verification, jamb verifies it and send back to school then they release it to the students on their website. In the case of those with wrong combination you stated the school gave them admission but when the name probably got to jamb they had a wrong subject combination so they had to change to a course that rhyme with their combination.
PS jamb can't give you admission cause they don't knw your post utme scores but they verify those the school gives admission and it's on their site 1st my opinion

one thing is certain; if your Name appears on jamb list, Admission is sure for you, but the school might not give u thesame course as Jamb offered you thats where the school seems superior in action......

Anuoluwap: Fellow aspirants, I'm happy to come up with a brief info about this Jamb giving admission saga. Going back to Eksu 2012/2013 admission session;

this is to show you that Jamb has an admission giving right.
However, going further in my research, I learnt that Eksu advised those affected candidates to apply for a change of course and make the necessary payments. Furthermore, I took my time to view two affected candidates' reg no to confirm whether a change of course worked for them or not. So, I visited jamb website under 2012 admissions and checked for the admission status of two candidates that initially applied to study Sociology. To my surprise both candidates got admitted to study Banking & Finance. So, both Jamb and the school has authority to admit. And the good news there is that Eksu obeys Jamb. Another good news there is that there's hope in the supplementary list for those that scored high marks and couldn't get admission. Other schools may not favor much people in the supplementary list. SO DON'T LOSE HOPE ON EKSU.
