NwaAmaikpe:Last I checked, there was no fundamental right to do drugs. Forget the Intimate gadgets, am sure the operation was conducted based on a tip off about the persons' abuse of drugs. We relish giving our opinions on flimsy things but important things are glossed over. |
Puke!!!! Is this reptile trending? It's been all over Nairaland for days now Mehn, people can eat anything |
This is what happen in a country with a sane president with progressive mindset. The spirit is infectious |
Indeed, success has many friends. The population here says it all. The last Nigeria friendly thread was not this populated |
BounceNigeria:Forget your lies. You are looking for attention. The operation was a classified operation in conjunction with Interpol. Post arrest stories and name callings are hearsays and unfounded narratives. Rumours are signatures of sensational journalism and blogging |
Funding a girl who does not respect the exalted office of the number one citizen (by moral, social and communal sanity) of her country? She should thank her stars, she didn't do that in Africa. ProHuman rights would be debating why the security detail There are things that should be left unsaid, if it meant to be said, there are acceptable and supportive channels to use. Wrong move that could backfire |
These are the most foolish set of terrorists I have ever read about. I can't believe some groups have refused to flow with civilization. Why should the public sympathize with terrorists? |
choku123:Male barbie and snapchat queen. I am confused. Is s/he 2 in 1? As in Hermaphrodite? |
nairametrics:These are capital-intensive businesses, except: Trade in Second-Hand items and Snail Rearing. Agriculture in subsistence start up can actually mature to national level if well managed. Nigerian banks are not helping the SMEs hence the astronomical increase in the number of bonus marketing programs, which are flawed in application. Most of the programs are ponzi and scam-induced. |
Libel should be criminalized with stiffer penalty to offenders. Members of Nigeria's parliament seem to put the minister of PWH in a very disadvantaged position because he refused to play ball with them. Can you imagine senators alleged $350 million part of Eurobond released in 2013 has gone missing under Fashola? Just like that? |
solablings:I believe you can petition your bank and EFCC. A trace can be done on the beneficiary's account to ascertain his identity, and probably get him arrested. On a serious note, the technique used by the thief was very cheap and a popular one at that. Am actually in spell you fell for it. |
celestialAgent:The building is a multi-tenants block of flats. All the tenants can not be criminals unless you know something, would encourage you to petition the EFCC. I bet govt knows the owner of the flat under review (probably Chobe ventures). Of course govt can not drag a non-living entity to court - the onus is on the directors to come forward and challenge the govt on the forfeiture, what happens thereafter is a story for another day. NwaAmaikpe: Dandsome:Governance is a process. I don't believe the issue here has anything to do with political parties. Let be objective. It was crystal clear that Diezani owned the properties. Diezani case and Ikoyi flats case are two distinct cases. The owner of the said flat has failed to come out and lay claim for fear of backlash. 'Temporary' forfeiture is as good as permanent forfeiture. Temporary forfeiture affords the owner the opportunity to challenge the decision of court. It's the best bait thrown by govt to elicit actions. These are the intricacies in laws which elude layman's understanding |
labelle123:Priest are employees and most of them are entrepreneurs and self-made. I expected the Pope (with over 1billion followers) to make the list, surprisingly he's not. Last I checked pope was still a servant and not the master |
The dude's career is DOA. Thanks to the girl |
I knew this thread was championed by the one and only 'Explorers' Mehn! Government spent trillion of dollars acquiring motor engines for war and at the end parked them for no use. The German tank graveyard is a sight to ponder on. Am sure not all the abandoned tanks have irredeemable faults. |
Cannonleo:Why were the same media not very vocal in the past not even in the immediate past administration? Or are these media outfits new in Nigeria? There are still bad elements in government who want nothing but their interest. Don't you know information get out to these media from insiders (whistleblowers) who are encouraged by government efforts. What has changed between now and then for the media to be this aggressive? Something has changed, my friend. Let support the government instead of condenming all the time. |
UncleSnr:Your inference is still subjective. What 'if' the windows were self-shut on entrance/exit type windows? I guess, the detective drew his conclusion other than the windows in the crime scene |
aolawale025:Corruption is endemic in Nigeria. An average Nigerian is greedy and self-centred. For the that fact we are hearing all these corruption cases in this present administration, means there is a strong fight against corruption. Whistle-blower policy is one of the best things to happen in this dispensation. People no longer partake or look the other way while others steal, unlike in the past where people shared in the loot and damned the consequence. |
We are hearing all these scandals because of the zero-corruption stance of the present administration. This government deserves to the applauded. We are progressing... |
4 is infinitesimal, when the entire Police force deserves to be disbanded for wrongest acts, and a new force re-assembled |
cyberguy72:I like point 2. 4. and 5. Unfortunately you are not being guided by them. Apt to use 'facade' Peace! |
FFK is a drowning man desperately looking for what to clutch on. He lacks moral right to lash at VP Osibanjo or the President for their actions and comments. The same GEJ he's protecting now, is the same man he blasted in 2013 in his public speech, that GEJ was incompetent, leaving a legacy of destruction and disaster. He went further that GEJ administration plunged the country into financial recklessness, bloodbath (apart from during the civil war) and total misrule never before experienced in the country. Details: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/131308-fani-kayode-blasts-jonathan-says-president-is-leaving-legacy-of-destruction-and-disaster.html He is now sucking up to GEJ. In his mind he is now playing effective opposition. How deceitful |
Kaduna govt should sack all the incompetent teachers. They are doing more harm than good to the pupils with the quality of what they teach the pupils. Their foundation matters most. No amount of propaganda should make the govt rescind its decision |
Even if the president appoints all Northerners to work with him, I don't bloody care provided the country moves forward. In politic wisdom demands you work with people who are loyal to you else you got back stabbers and failed leadership. If the president feels, importing foreigners to work with him would bring the change the people yearned for, I DON'T CARE |
I and daddy freeze share the same view. Tithing is the biggest scam in Nigeria Christendom. If I was a Senator, would raise a motion for tithing to be expunged from religious doctrines |
aolawale025:You are talking about what you were taught and not what is real. I am talking as a businessman and on what is doable now. Of course healthy business cash flow should be basis for granting loan but that has changed. Nigerian banks are majorly 'deposit boxes' nowadays. They are very comfortable milking their customers through unwarranted deductions from their accounts. |
aolawale025:Business cash flow does not secure you loan from Nigerian banks nowadays. I am speaking from experience. To be considered, banks need landed properties in choice areas where they can lease out and get their money back should you default. Even the so call Islamic banks (non interest banks) also place stringent requirements and collateral as one of the conditions. Like someone said earlier, it is easier for a camel to pass through the needle eye than for you to secure loan from Nigerian banks. |
nairametrics:Possessing all other keys will keep your proposal with the security men at the gate. The only requirement of securing a loan from Nigerian banks is collateral. Not just any collateral - Landed Property or something worth more in value than the loan amount itself. Another condition worth considering is if you are the Dangote type of business man. |
