Politics › Re: Clampdown On Intels: Stay Clear Of Politics, Frank Tells FIRS, NPA by Koolking(m): 2:55pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
nwakibie3: Onyebuchi Ezigbo in Abuja The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, has asked the Federal Inland Revenue (FIRS) and other federal government agencies not to drag themselves into the politics of 2019 general election.
“This is not the time to play politics with the issues of governance. Could it be another ploy to weaken Atiku ahead of his perceived ambition for 2019?” Frank asked. While condemning the sealing of Intels by FIRS, Frank wondered why FIRS just realised the non-payment of tax by Intels and Export Free Zone also decided that Intels is operating illegally. “It is pertinent to note that in the history since the establishment of Intels, no central government has ever brazenly persecuted Intels like this present government.
“The act of the FIRS, NPA, and FTZ as agencies of government is and can be seen to be a calculated attempt to humiliate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. “How come FIRS just realised the non- payment of tax by Intels? The export free zone just realised that Intels is operating illegally. If the agencies just realised all these , it means they have shown total failure in discharging their duties,” he stated. Nigerians are terrible people. Selfishness is the bane of progress in this country. This so call Frank only speak out for Atiku because unethical business dealings by Intel favoured him. Instead of addressing and condemning the audacity of Intel, evading payment of mandatory taxes to the government, the dude is here daring the government. Most of these guys see the weakness of GEJ govt in tackling reprehensible behaviour of public office holders as norms for every successive government to employ. How sad! |

Tale by the moonlight as told by Nnamdi Kanu's family. When Nnamdi Kanu beat his chest and bragged of crumbling the zoo, was he going to use his teeth? If not for a fact that he amassed weapons of destruction smuggled into the country through our compromised borders made possible by his sponsors.
Good job to the Nigerian security operatives for the recovery. Nigeria is bigger than anyone |

zionmade1: It wont take anything away from Atiku's wealth. APC always in the business of increasing the popularity of their perceived enemies. Good leaders do the right thing not the popular thing. It beats my imagination why Nigerians are averse to good governance, once it affects our individual interest, the leader is the worst. |

There are proper channel available to give your grievances attention. Ibe is a Minister and not a clerk or messenger in the ministry. If he makes effort to see the president, he would. No cabal can deny him that audience. He reports to the president not the press. For Christ sake, Ibe is a professional. I don't think he leaked the document to the press in order to heat up the polity. If he did, he deserves sanction no matter how noble his intentions were. |

These Nigerian institutions will cry over allowances from Federal Government which results to ASUU strike every 4 years. This is a medium for the school to make money and pay some of their bills sef. BTW i have not seen any school charge more than 5,500 I know of Polytechnic Ibadan charging N7,500 (UTME Form N2,500, Admin Charges N5,000) I heard University of Medical Sciences, Ondo charges N12,500. OOU charges N8,000 |

Is JAMB living in denial that institutions are charging more for Post-UTME?
I paid N5,500 for my cousin's Post-Utme at Adekunle Ajasin University. Imagine 15,000 students paid 5,500. Do the math.
I heard other schools pay more than 5,500
Apart from the assessment fee, most schools charge administrative and other charges. |

Explorers: Evacuating the dead.
Investigators are still processing the festival site-turned-crime scene.
The FBI warned in the press conference on Wednesday that it would be some time before all of the evidence that was being collected was properly examined.
FBI lab technicians work at the scene of the massacre on Wednesday night. Why is the FBI exerting energy collecting and examining evidence from the crime scene instead of expending more on human contacts in order to unravel the motive of the shooter? The Shooter was identified and found dead. There was stampede and the crime scene was compromised, there's every tendency for corrupt evidence. Seems FBI has seen an opportunity to demand more money for their far-fetched inconclusive investigation. Someone enlighten me. |
