Op you mean well but culturally Igbos and Yorubas are different when it comes to tackling their problems. Igbos don't pretend or hide their problems or worry about what others might think, they tackle it head on. Yorubas like to pretend all is well, hide their problems and worry about what others might think until the problem swallows them.

For example the slogan "yorubas are the most educated." Years back about 10-13yrs ago, If you tell yorubas or bring it online the amount of youths turning agberos, not going to school or dropping out, they will insult you or call you hater. Aba is actually more developed than Onitisha. Aba has the best grid or street design in Nigeria, yes better than Abuja, Lagos and Enugu. It was designed to mirror American street grid. It's one thing to have bad governance but doesn't mean it fundamentals are not good.

Pictures of Aba street grid like any American town. No Nigerian town is organized like this, I said none! Don't let police chase you in Aba, they will catch you in minutes because the streets have no deadends.
