Genesis made us to understand that God said in the beginning.... Let us make man in our own image... Who was he talking to? A question to be answered later.
John 1:1 says in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and God was the word. Vs 2 says .. And the world became flesh and dwelt among us and we behel his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father. From these verses, let's bring out some correlations. The word which was in the beginning John 1:1 dwelt among us. Also the word was God. That's where trinity comes. That means God, jesus , and the holy spirit are supernatural bodies in ONE. that's to tel that JESUS was there in the beginning when the world was created

To be honest, I don't understand all you've written.

Then God said,
"Let the earth produce vegetation: plants bearing seeds, each according to its own type,
and fruit trees bearing fruit with seeds, each according to its own type." And so it was.

- Genesis 1:11

I would curse a worthless living thing to death, especially if in due season, it is not useful, not beneficial, not positively productive and not fruitful

It will be good riddance.

The tree, as seen in Genesis 1:11 above, was already blessed, in line with,
there is an appointed time for everything, like the appointed time to pluck fruit buds from that fig tree

He could have commanded the tree to bear fruits though since he had the power.

MuttleyLaff:
CURSE is the opposite of BLESS
Do you bless what is worthless?
You BLESS what is worthy and CURSE what is worthless, isnt it?
You treasure what is useful and dustbin-trash what is useless, isnt it?

curse kəːs/
noun: curse; plural noun: curses; noun: the curse

1. a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something

6Then Jesus told this story: “A man planted a fig tree in his garden and came again and again to see if there was any fruit on it, but he was always disappointed.
7Finally, he said to his gardener, ‘I’ve waited three years, and there hasn’t been a single fig! Cut it down. It’s just taking up space in the garden.’
8“The gardener answered, ‘Sir, give it one more chance. Leave it another year, and I’ll give it special attention and plenty of fertilizer.
9If we get figs next year, fine. If not, then you can cut it down.’”

- Luke 13:6-8 NLT

Jesus pronounced judgment on the tree (i.e. worthless not bearing fruit tree), just like as the man in Luke 13:6-8

One question, would you curse a worthless living thing to death given that you have the power to bless or curse it?
Religion / Re: Why Did Jesus Curse The Fig Tree? by KORLAR(m): 10:53am On Oct 09, 2016
MuttleyLaff:
The tree wasnt as innocent as it looked

You're right, as this one had 3 seasons to bear in spring, summer and winter

That is where you are wrong
It actually is, one of the three seasons for the fig tree to bear fruit, this particular season was to bear fruit buds
and Jesus knew this, which is why He went ahead to get rid of the fig tree that wouldnt bear fruit in due season
It is fruitless, giving no benefit and so worthless enough to gotten rid of.

You wont be waiting if you had recognised the hyperbole in that remark

In my opinion, he should have blessed the tree instead of cursing it to show his magnanimity.

The Catholic doctrine states so.Let "us"make man in our own image and likeness. Indicating many people involved in the creation story. The Catholic says that it indicates the existence of the holy Trinity I.eGod the father,God the son (Jesus) and God the holy spirit only in one God.
So, how many gods now?

bro, its all in the scripture.
if you read the whole chapter, you'll get to hear when Peter acknowledged that the tree he cursed actually died.

Why did he curse the fig tree
1. Jesus is the creator of the world
In the beginning, all trees he created rought forth fruits in and out of season, there was always fruits for Adam and Eve to eat. As the creator, he expected that the fig should have fruits wether its his season or not. The fig should have responded to His demand at least.
Remember Jesus said, everyone of us who does not bear fruit, my father will uproot, and those of us who do bear fruits, He will trim so that we bear even much fruit.

2. He cursed the tree to teach them about Faith
when Peter acknowledged that the fig tree he cursed actually died, Jesus told them to "have faith in God"
He told them that if they have the slightest level of Faith, they can speak to a mountain to move from where it is to another place and it will happen as it happened to the fig tree.

As a Christian, if you put the little faith you received (as you got born again ) to use, nothing shall be impossible to you. You can speak to anything including money and it will answer you.

Have a glorious Sunday Service.

How's Jesus the creator of the world?

Every single man you share your sins to
Will try his luck too
Every single man.

And you can not hate him for it
And you must not blame you for it
And you shall carry on being friends

And for times when your self esteem is down
And here comes a compliment
A somewhat inappropriate compliment
A very inappropriate compliment
And you don’t know whether to be
Flattered or offended
But you do feel grateful that someone finds you sexually attractive
And you’re angry that you feel grateful that someone finds you sexually attractive,

Return to God.

Literature / Meant For Better? Plain Lazy? by KORLAR(m): 10:20pm On Oct 06, 2016
The bright flaming orange ball of doom roused me. I groaned as I look out the window. There it was in its unrivaled glory, staring down.

You see, a day which starts with the sun as bright as this one always meant a long day for me.

I reluctantly pushed back my covers and all but crawled out of bed in search of my mother – who no doubt would be on one chore or the other – for our morning ritual.
The ritual consists of her giving me an earful of how a lady my age shouldn’t sleep as much as I do and I, looking or trying my best to look sober while scanning the grounds for signs of breakfast. The verbal dance always ended with an apology and a promise to desist from me and an indifferent grunt from my mother.

Until the next morning.

Today, she was bent over a tray of freshly cut pawpaws, carefully arranging them. I looked resentfully at the pawpaws and then at the sun as I chewed on a stick of pawpaw. It was going to be a really long day.
Balancing the tray on my well cushioned head, I set out.

And after a few hours of walking in the cursed sun, selling pawpaws to willing customers, fighting off the ones who simply wanted to ogle, engaging in playful banters with the old men who seemed confined to their radio sets and getting free bean cake balls from some traders, The weather began to change in my favour.

I smiled to myself as the sun began to feel drowsy and retreat into the comfort of the darkening clouds. I started to walk with the surety of an overworked woman who knew rest was around the corner.
And then it began. Gleaming silver gems from the sky slowly descended. I waited patiently to be adequately showered by my diamond droplets before I jumped on a bus going home.
I alighted a few minutes from home so I could trudge in the mud before I reached my house. My mother’s sympathy isn’t easily gotten but when it was, it overwhelmed.
And that. Was the goal.
The rained seemed to get heavier with each step I took and my smile, broader.
I wiped the smile off my face as my mother opened the door.

There I was, a pitiable sight.

I was rewarded with a sympathetic look as she grabbed the tray of pawpaws from my hands and wrapped me in a huge cloth. She banished me to my room not before a promise of a hot bath.
And well I did what I knew how to do best, I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed with one last thought. It wasn’t such a long day afterwards.
Until, I heard my mother scream from down the hallway.
“The sun is out! Wake up”

Health / What Discolored Semen Mean. by KORLAR(m): 3:40pm On Mar 25, 2016
Hello whoever is reading this

I stumbled upon a thread where someone asked for help analyzing his yellow semen, so i thought I should also find answers to his questions as I am a guy too and could be affected too.

Here we go.

Semen is normally a whitish-gray color. It's usually quite thick after ejaculation, but liquefies within 30 minutes.

Changes in the appearance of semen might be temporary and not a health concern. However, sometimes these changes can be a sign of an underlying medical condition that requires further evaluation.

If changes persist for longer than a week or two or if the color change is associated with other symptoms such as pain, fever, sexual dysfunction or blood in the urine, see your doctor for an evaluation.

I`d be outlining semen colors (awks!) and possible medical cause.

Pink or reddish brown: This could be caused by a recent prostate biopsy or inflammation of or bleeding in the prostate or seminal vesicle — usually benign

Yellow: Urine in the semen, jaundice or abnormally high levels of white blood cells (leukocytospermia)

Excessively slow moving or sticky (hyperviscous): Inflammation of the genitourinary tract

Yellowish-green: A possible prostate infection.

Please see a doctor if your semen happens to be in the above mentioned category.

Hmmm. Doesn't that make it possible for anyone to stand as witness? Should we even take such a witness serious? How can we verify that the witness is not a DSS official or an opportunist hired for the Job?

I don't also think the case is that delicate for the witness to be masked. If they can present witnesses in cases of people accused of embezzling money that has led to lose of lives I don't see why the witness in this case, where the accused was not even accused of taking life, should be masked. IPOB maybe misguided but they are not that violent.

The accused, the judge and the lawyers will see the witnesses.

Phones / Re: Fraudsters Swap Lady's Airtel Sim And Steal Her N400,000 by KORLAR(m): 5:53pm On Feb 06, 2016
FlirtyKaren:
My name is Adetoke Oluwo. I feel it is necessary I share my story so as to shed light to the way fraudsters dupe unsuspecting Nigerians and also to expose the shady AIRTEL STAFF who aided them.

My purse with other documents and ID cards were stolen last year April and as usual, I got an affidavit for it.
This year January, I got a call from Airtel Ibadan concerning a sim swap I wanted to do in Ibadan (I work and live in Lagos). I immediately informed them that it's fraud when
they told me the person brought one of the id cards that was stolen.
I immediately went to AIRTEL IKEJA CITY MALL to report and told them to flag and fortify security on my sim as my Airtel line is connected to all my Bank accounts. I even asked how it was possible for anybody to walk in and almost swapped my sim without any form of security . The staff said they will do something about it.
On Thursday night, 4th of February, I noticed my network was down and I waited till Friday to go report and they told me to wait for hours. THEY DID NOT TELL ME MY SIM HAD BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SWAPPED BY FRAUDSTERS, The Staff tried to hide it and told me to fill a form of sim replacement. I did not know at that point that my money was being moved as I sat there!!!
I left the Office and discovered on my other phone that 400 THOUSAND NAIRA HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED FROM MY GTB ACCOUNT THROUGH MOBILE MONEY WITH THAT NUMBER ALL THE WHILE MY SIM WAS DOWN FROM THURSDAY NIGHT TO FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
My email address must have been seen in one of the documents stolen, and the number is where Yahoo would send my recovery password to. All it took them was to SWAP MY SIM and click on forget password to access my email that had my Bank details saved.
It was when I went back to AIRTEL IKEJA CITY MALL to shout that the Staff told me my Sim had been Swapped. Before they lied that it was damaged and told me to fill a form for REPLACEMENT! !!

I requested for the Staff who swapped my sim for this FRAUDSTERS and they refused to say anything. They even harassed me and sent me out of their store for causing nuisance.

This money is meant to be part of the Course I saved a Year for to go study in London, I was maltreated and duped and an AIRTEL STAFF AIDED THE FRAUDSTERS. EVEN AFTER I COMPLAINED SINCE JANUARY FOR MY SIM TO BE FORTIFIED!!

BECAUSE HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE WHO ISN'T ME TO SUCCESSFULLY SWAP MY LINE WHEN THEY HAD MY PICTURE RIGHT INFRONT OF THEM!!!

PLEASE SHARE SO I CAN GET MY MONEY BACK, SO JUSTICE CAN BE DONE, SO OTHER NIGERIANS TOO CAN LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND PROTECT THEMSELVES. PLEASE SHARE.
