Why blame the soldiers? The checkpoint was there for a reason and that truck could’ve been transporting arms and other dangerous items.

The soldiers did the right thing in giving it a chase. Would you have blamed them if they had opened fire on the truck? Probably they weighed the options and thought if they tried to shoot at the tyres, it would’ve resulted in a more serious danger to the public.

I hope the crazy truck driver is arrested and punished.

Obiagu boys are rough but not stupid or senseless, Enugu is actually the safest place for visiting teams to play good or bad football and nothing will happen to them.

Enugu isn’t known to attack visiting teams. Fans might take out their frustrations on the match officials when certain decisions are taken but generally Enugu fans are well behaved.

BCC lions of Gboko have frustrated Rangers at Nnamdi Azikiwe in the past from getting draws to narrowly beating Rangers in Enugu but no one over the years resorted to Violence against them.
El Kanemi frustrated Rangers by forcing them to a draw in their opening league match in Enugu, fans didn’t beat or attacked them. Prior to the match in Jos, Ahmed Musa and Rabiu Musah’s Kano Pillars beat Rangers at Enugu. Rangers lost 3 goals to 4. Fans were sad but Kano pillars were not attacked.

I’m a core Rangers fan and I can tell you that Enugu and all Rangers fans are well behaved and we all support good football and fair officiating.

I can even go back to the days of Stationary Stores vs Rangers at Onikan…Enugu frustrated them and at the end of the match, just like the Jos incident. Stores fans attacked Rangers…George Finidi’s younger brother Iginewari who was sitting in the bus was shot dead. People cried in Enugu but Stores were not attacked when they visited Enugu later.

I don’t support capital punishment. I am strictly against it. I wouldn’t flog any kid. I was flogged mercilessly as a child and as a student. I haven’t seen any benefit of flogging.
I have worked with children and vulnerable people.
I have been treated badly, called stuffs I wouldn’t type here. I have my way of dealing with things like that and one of them isn’t using such language on the person.

If a child calls me stupid which wouldn’t happen anyway. I am good with children….they are happy when I’m there and sad when I leave or when they leave. I’ll find it a bit strange that he/she used that language, I’ll ask why….yes depending on the mood, I’ll want to know why he/she said that…if it’s such that I’ll have to escalate it, I would.

I think you as a teacher should address their problems right there. Call them together, listen to their issues/complaints…make the aggressor or the student using such language understand that’s it’s wrong. Ask him/her to apologise…they should make up before leaving your presence.

The money was N30,000 not some crumpled N1k or N3k in N1k notes that could’ve mistakenly fallen from a pocket or bag.

N30k on the floor….this lady saw it, picked it up and her mind didn’t tell her to immediately alert management or her work colleagues. She picked it up and decided to ‘safely’ keep the money in her bag!……This right here was her mistake or her stupidity. She kept the money in her bag and then carelessly left the bag unattended. Who does that??
If her intention was to keep the money safe and report it, why wasn’t she with her bag all the time? At this stage, if it was a set up and there was a cctv that captured her picking up the money, I’ll assume that the camera would also captured the process that resulted in the money being planted or dropping off someone.

What if someone else stole that money from that bag? how would she explain that? She’d probably deny that she saw or touched any money except she was confronted with the cctv evidence.

Why didn’t she report that she found money on the floor, why didn’t she tell someone? She didn’t pick money from the street pavement but right inside her workplace.

If she was set up, then she was silly to have fallen for that.
