Two wrongs cannot make a right they say. It's quite sad that the BH menace has robbed people of their sanity and humanity. Jungle justice...as it is fondly called is not a novel idea in the mind of an average African man; but judging the the utter lack of trust and confidence in the institutions set up to protect their lives and properties , you can't help but spare them some blame. Personal security is a personal business they say. |
emusmith:U forgot the political thugs. |
Hail Nigeria, where rights are seeen as privileges, necessities as luxuries. |
GP2015:You ve been scammed. |
Pure political move. My question is who is fooling who?..The purported former classmates know this. They are just trying to take advantage of this once in a life time opportunity. A good thing though for both parties. |

Hi everyone, First, let's get one thing straight..ICAN is yet to officially announce the release of its study materials for all the levels of its biannual exams. The soft copies of application/skills level flying around were leaked by unknown persons. The printing, duplication, distribution and copying of these materials are against the copyright laws but lucky for us, we are in a country that has little or no regard for laws. That does not mean that we are to carry along with these acts with careless abandon. So be careful. Second, practice, they say makes perfect. No matter how hard you memorize those standards or how many times you cover the packs, if you don't have questions to practice with, your effort is as useless as the letter "H" in Ghana...solve as many questions as you can..since ICAN has done nothing in that respect, equip urself with ACCA study and revision kit, you will not regret this Third, In as much as you are learning( gaining knowledge), don't forget to learn how to pass exams too...know how to approach questions, how to know what the examiner requires of you and also learn time management..as you are reading, time yourself, imagine yourself in an exam situation..Remember you have 3 hours to move mountains. Finally,...mmmm...lemme think..gimme a minute..*wink* |
benebaby77:Yes(if u can)...provided that they are in the same level..pls consult the new syllabus for more information.. |
whizqueen:Yoh Whizzy....!!!..thanks for the packs..its been a while and this past few months has been really crazy.....was wondering..how come nobody is sharing testimonies abt the last diet?...is it that bad?..how was ur performance...wanna keep it on a lowkey..email me...Bless girl |
Mr.OP...First and foremost. A million youtube views does not translate to a million naira. If it may interest you, there are many videos on youtube with over a billion views, the people who made those videos are not yet billionaires. Next, Artistes especially the ones in Nigeria, don't make money from album sales, (no thanks to piracy). A large chunk of their income comes via endorsements and shows apart from those who combine singing with production(eg Don Jazzy).and those who have other investments. |
Burger01:...if he has one.. |
The most unpopular VP in the history of unpopular VPs. |

A leader is just a reflection of the people......Go figure. |
whizqueen:Hi whizzy, I got your mail but I couldn't download the files due to the size. Can you please resend them and this time one @ a time. Thanks and sorry for the inconvienience. |
whizqueen:Hi, Long time.pls send me the softcopies of the new ICAN study packs(skills level). Kossynerule@yahoo.com. Thanks |
Hi house, I just relocated from kebbi state to ogun, I will be reporting at the secretariat tomorrow. I ve heard a lotta horrible stories about the state, though I didn't place much stock in it but one can't be too careful. Pls I want to know the good LGs where one can serve with little stress. I am not necessary looking for comfort but water,light,internet/mobile network, proximity to market/town,security are priorities. Again, if anyone can help with any school/firm where I can obtain request letter, I will really appreciate it. Thanks. My number is 08135774727 |
whizqueen:Thanks Whizqueen. I pray ICAN releases the materials before then. I got a text from ICAN that the deadline for registration has been extended and the time table has been adjusted to that effect. You can download the new time table from the ICAN website. Cheers. |
bk2020:Easy girl, we are all here to help each other. If we don't need help, then there is no point opening this thread. We ve all been in a situation where we have asked for help @ one point or the other. If you don't want to help, the least you could have done is to ignore the posts, than going to the length of calling names. We're are training to be professionals, pls let's conduct ourselves as such. |
whizqueen:Hi, Whizqueen, I won't be sitting the Nov diet, cos I was recently deployed to Kebbi State for NYSC. I felt really bad that I ve to forfeit the exam after all the sleepless nights but I know God has better plans for me, I will be sitting the next diet though. I wish you guys success and you will be remembered in my prayers. |
A big shout out to hayordelevic,judemorfy,NmamdiN,Emmanueloy,Ndisnoopi,ajasa4link for their invaluable contribution. This information is for PCMs travelling from Owerri or Anambra. Alternative 1 Take a bus to Onitsha(for those living in Owerri), and stop @ down fly over by Ekwulobia street or Ph road. Ask for EasyMass transport company. They use small hummer buses and they leave for Kebbi by 5pm every evening(except on sundays). The t-fare is #4000. They do stop @ Yauri in Kebbi, then you can get a cab going to Dakingari from there. but I can't guarantee you comfort. Alternative 2 Stop @ down flyover in Onitsha, take a luxurious bus going to sokoto(GUO:#4550 time: 11am; God Bless Ezenwata:#5100,time:11am) Once you get to Sokoto, then take a cab going to Dakingari Alternative 3 Take a bus going to Abuja from Owerri( Chisco:#4000, time of departure:9pm; ABC transport: #5850) when you get to Abuja, then board a cab going to Kebbi, should be around #4000. So just budget like #10,000 for your t-fare. For more info, you can reach me on 08135774727. Will be leaving with my coursemates on Tues. Cheers. |
Anybody travelling from Owerri? |
IJIGGAH:Lol..bro take it easy. You might like it when you get there. |
ajasa4link:Thanks man!... Your post has addressed some of the fears that I have, though I am planning on redeployment once I get there. How's the people? Are they friendly, what's the cost of living?, are we going to have any communication problems?, what of utilities like electricity, transportation, good roads, water, internet connection, telephone network, banks/ATMs? What's the level of civilization there? What of accomodation? It's true we are not going to picnic, but these factors will go a long way in determining how effectively we serve our fatherland. Thanks. Any other PCM can add his/hers. |
