Pharoh: He is not asking for the actual questions word for word but just the questions which is same as the topic for debate. Simply we are going to ask questions about issues A, B and C, is that too much to ask for a debate or seek to know in advance?.
Brother there are so many things in this damn country that everyone has been affected somehow and we can discuss all of them if you want to. This was the reason why i said we should not debate it, people are not coming to debate issues but adding sentiments to it with all the political undertones to it. People have been victims to accident, armed robbery, communal clashes, religious crisis, land crisis and whatever which need to be discussed so Jos is not a special case but people want to add sentiments to it. So it is not up to debate for me, we can discuss issues that includes the Jos crisis in a general form without pointing out to it specifically.
I am open to every topic but people are just pointing out to those issues to score cheap political points like are those the only or main problems affecting Nigeria. Some topics should not be debated if people can keep their heads down and think objectively but because of hatred we want to debate about dwindling excess crude account and foreign reserve. Some questions are not meant for debate but just inquires that you can make to the presidency or the national assembly. Because we don't know our rights, we are putting them up for debate, we should be debating about issues pertaining to our development and growth and not these petty issues. CRAP! |

My question is what has improved in nigeria in the past 12years 1.power- how many megawatts did we have in 1999 how many do we have now(the diffrence at what cost?) 2.education- we still have private schools in every nook and crany, what was the state of our universities in 1999 what is their state now? 3.corruption - too easy 4.industry- how many factories have closed down in the past 12yrs how many have we opened 5.employement -what percentage in 1999 what percentage now? 6.social security -we didnt have in 1999 we still do not have now 7.police- too easy 8.judiciary- you can swear to an affidavit that your name is barrack obama for N700. 9.housing- how many has the pdp built in the past 12 years need i go on. lets vote out pdp for the simple reason of incompetence. |

They have been in office for 12yrs, ruined the damn country, and people are prepared to continue thier brainless support, probably because of sentiments. The billion dollar question? |

hbrednic: Why didnt you do it when you were in power Mr Buhari Only talk, talk and more talk Do you even listen to yourself dumb ass the immunity clause only came in 1999!!! the problem with u PDP supporters is that you cant think and reason logically! the question is what has pdp done for this country in the past 12 years most nigerians have never enjoyed their lives before so they dont know that things can actually be better, poverty has really diminished if not completely wiped out their thinking faculty infact most beleive 24hrs electricity is not possible, because theve never had it! what has PDP done for you in the past 12 years? what has changed in the past 12 years THINK MY PEOPLE THINK!!! |

WHAT HAS PDP DONE FOR THIS COUNTRY IN THE PAST 12 YEARS?
We all like and talk about developed countries like the America,Canada,Japan,Korea etc but did any of these countries just wake up one day and found themselves developed? no it took a lot of hardwork, discipline and consistency in the management of their people and resources,we can and will never achieve much with corruption as the main agenda in governance. i think the BB team will provide the kind of disciplined leadership this country requires. i do not need to read buharis manifesto his word is good enough for me |

people are giving excuses not to vote BB but the truth is that BB is what we need. what has the PDP done for us in the past 12 years? our roads are still bad, electric power is still not stable, corruption is still everywhere, education is nothing to write home about, every wednesday the FEC award contracts worth billions of naira yet for 12years nothing is working, impunity and insecurity is increasing. YET YOU STILL WANT TO VOTE PDP. |
Politics › Re: What We Did Not Know About Buhari by koyuid(m): 11:18am On Feb 22, 2011 |
Why i will not vote for GEJ 1. The 2011 budget is complete thrash (sign of worse things to come) 2.GEJ has done nothing about harliburton and siemens scandals 3.a serving senator an accessory to murder in ibadan was realeased and flown in presidential jet to abuja for the pdp primaries 4. more importantly his wife is darn too ugly Buhari has displayed consistency, he has shown that he is not in politics for money or wealth. most nigerians easily get influenced by ethnic and religious considerations in thier choice of leaders for me the only consideration is character. |

It will be very expensive to have all the ddc machines connected on real time basis (i.e you will need 120,000.00 vsat conn) just for the purpose of detecting multiple registration. multiple registration can easily be detected when the data is being processed. |

F mccloud224: You have a point but i don't think that's our problem. Our problem is the way we think (i'm talking about BLACK AFRICANS).A lot of the people looting this country blind are well educated professionals. . .a lot of them in the management/economic field and yet do we see their impact on the economy? NO.
The "white men" who plundered our resources hundreds of years ago had to use guns to FORCE us to stop SELLING OUR OWN PEOPLE AS SLAVES.Think about that for a minute. . . . . . . . . . What does that tell you about our mentality? Funny thing is, there is no difference between then and now except GSM. . .lol. . .hehehehe
We actually had to be forced to quit harming ourselves (coz the sailiors didn't kidnap anyone for slavery. We did all the hard work ourselves. . . lol)
My people. . .lol funny stuff but true |
