Music/RadioRe: Modenine "Sells Out", To Release A Commercial Album by kq(m): 8:24pm On Apr 08, 2013
talktimi: Many naija rap artistes don't even know what keeping it real means.
Keeping it real means your general audience feel, understand and appreciate what you're trying to tell them through your music of course you still have to count your bars properly intermixing with relevant punchlines and metaphors, you don't just bring one americana swag into naija thinking everybody must bow down. That's battle rap and its meant for the streets when you're still trying to make your name.
Till tomorrow, I'll still rate Dagrin and Olamide higher than mode 9 for the simple reason that they can/could relate with their audience perfectly well even though they rap in their narive yoruba language. Its not coming "down" to our leve, its being realistic about your environment. You can't sell ice to an eskimo.
Bros na you make sense die for here. What is hip hop without local content. If you ask me the only standards in hip hop is delivery, arrangement and lyrical content and all this can be done in any language as long a you have the characteristics down. I will forever pick a Nigerian rapping in local languages that meets the said characteristics over nay other person anyday. Reason because i feel and understand him.

In my Opinion I ll tell u why,Deifa is just too perfect-most beautiful, rich, snobbish, high taste, has guyz at her fingertip, sexy and also has guyz bidding 10m naira just to spend a day with her! She is not an average girl, infact am jealous.
Unfortuantely i like better. Maybe its just because i am one of those who believe close friendships should end up in love.

Inna Allaha ya/muru bialAAadli waal-ihsani wa-eeta-i thee alqurba wayanha AAani alfahsha-i waalmunkari waalbaghyi yaAAithukum laAAallakum tathakkaroona

God commands justice, doing good, and generosity towards relatives and He forbids what is shameful, blameworthy, and oppressive. He teaches you, so that you may take heed. (Surah 16:90)

And Allah knows best.
It is definitely the verse above, thank you for providing the chapter and the verse. May Allah continue to increase you better in your endeavors.

vescucci: I must warn you, dear reader, that my poems veer towards the dark. Even when I write about love, there's a piercing melancholy about it. This is because I believe sadness is the deepest and one of the purest emotions. Sadness can be beautiful. Apologies in advance. smiley And please, feel free to critique. This is the reason for posting them. And of course the perverse need for validation that humans are afflicted with sad

Wa sere omo...to all my fellow Sutin fans. Yes indeed we need to support ours. Just to inform us i remember there was a little blue book titled Up Sutin! about the good old days of the club with stories about Best Ogedengbe, Segun odegbami and co. It helps to get a hold of the book as it details the history of the club and the name changes it went through.

Foreign AffairsRe: Oscar Pistorius Charged With Premeditated Murder by kq(m): 5:47pm On Feb 19, 2013
There have also been reports of Oscar having anger issues. One NBC reporter after the coverage of the Olympics last year narrated an incident where they were setting up lights and camera at Oscar's home for an interview and the crew left his garage door opened. Oscar came back home, saw the garage door open and yelled at his house keeper for leaving the door open. The interview crew had to calm him down that it was there fault but he was in visible rage at just the fact that his garage door was open.

If APGA+CPC+ANPP+ACN=APC
&

EFCC+ICPC+GEJ+ JEGA = PDP,

(ai) Using Pythagoras theorem prove that: PDP=APC.

(ii) Using Almighty formula where JEGA is constant what is the value of PDP?

(b) if Tinubu/Buhari/Okorocha varies, what is the coefficient of APC.

(c) if PDP is constant, what is the cube root of rigging coefficient?

(d) use Leibnitz theory & explain all the answers above before 2015.

''Good luck''

@ijebabe there are two songs that deserve to be on that list in my own opinion

1. Aisan - Lagbaja (ooops just saw you had this on the list, this song is the bomb right wink)
2. Abosede - Sunny Nneji (the instrumentals for this song is serious especially on speakers that accentuate all tones bass, treble, soprano etc)

SportsRe: Zambia Vs Nigeria (AFCON 2013) (1 - 1) On 25th January 2013 by kq(m): 8:23pm On Jan 25, 2013
In my own opinion i think the team is just average in terms of team play and overall tactical display besides the players show a lot of inexperience with their tackles and less finese especially the defenders. I dont blame them one bit afterall they were strung together with little or no playtime together, they have an ultimatum from NFF to win the cup or Keshi gets sacked then we hire a new coach who strings together a new team with the same average players or new average players. Well we shall see how far we go..
SportsRe: Zambia Vs Nigeria (AFCON 2013) (1 - 1) On 25th January 2013 by kq(m): 6:02pm On Jan 25, 2013
Well we got a draw out of it. We should not expect much from this team, average players so inexperienced notice that most of our tackles even in the final minutes of the game were worthy of yellow cards. Also the pitch and officiating did not help much.
SportsRe: Zambia Vs Nigeria (AFCON 2013) (1 - 1) On 25th January 2013 by kq(m): 5:35pm On Jan 25, 2013
pword: btw keshi and siasia who is a better coach owing to the turn of even na?
In all honesty i cannot say who is better, all i can say is Siasia was getting a good team together and should have been allowed to stay on. And this is the same opinion i hold about Keshi even of we dont win the cup let him stay on and build a team....
SportsRe: Zambia Vs Nigeria (AFCON 2013) (1 - 1) On 25th January 2013 by kq(m): 4:59pm On Jan 25, 2013
I dont see us winning this match, unless some miracle happens. Our play in this match is even worse than the Burkina Faso match. The players can best be described as inexperienced and it just seems they cannot withstand pressure. For example Oboabana a central defender already has a yellow card early in the game, Mikel lost a penalty and there is just too much space in the midfield for the Zamibians.
I dont know why these coaches keep signing contracts promising what they cannot do when you know that you have to build a team first and ensure proper team integration. If he does not win the nations cup Keshi is getting sacked so what is the essence of trying in the first place? Then we get a new coach who also has an ultimatum assembles a team with just average players and then we expect miracles.

"Ni kam, what is all this raving rave about President Jonathan's interview with Christiane Amanpour?

The man is already president, what good is what he says anymore?
Analyse his actions if you must analyse something, if that's too boring play sudoku.

Tell me when GEJ agrees to an interview with Pius Adesanmi, Simon Kolawale or Sam Nda-Isiah,"

But alas i trust my people as he concern Ronaldo now all of una don turn am to he is arrogant, If Messi is ignored by Mourinho all of us go still complain. The problem is not Ronaldo or Messi it is us we no go just leave matter for Matthias always speculating about whether he is arrogant or whether Messi is better...
IslamRe: Are Islamic Religious Leaders Failing Islam? by kq(m): 4:30pm On Dec 15, 2012
Atheist:-D:
I agree. But they still play a major role in Islamic societies.

Why would I be bound by Islamic law (sharia) as a muslim if others are not?

I think the silence of these leaders poses a somewhat negative view of Islam.
Well like tbaba said individually as a muslim you have to implement sharia in your life, notwithstanding whether you live under sharia laws or not. Please dont take this to mean having a sharia court in your house,,,No. What it means let the rules and laws of Islam guide you in your daily life e.g family affairs, work , business transactions and relation to others(Muslims and non-muslims).

You cannot assume because the leadership is corrupt then you dont need to be responsible in your faith. Remember you will be responsible for your actions to God on the day of judgement, although the so called leaders will be responsible for their actions and stewardship as leaders.

One point i would like you to note is there is no order of priesthood in Islam, so anybody can declare himself an Alfa, Imam, Emir, Sultan, Amir as long as there is the followership. Whatever leadership muslims in Nigeria have now is an effort at best trying present some form of leadership.
PoliticsRe: Ibadan: One Of Five African Cities To Watch - Financial Times by kq(m): 11:45pm On Dec 14, 2012
Prof Corruption: No, I disagree. The ancient part of Ibadan is a legitimate part of the city and you can't force people to spend what they don't have.
There are modern sections that are lovely with magnificent structures. The State can play an initiative by creating more modern sections. Declare like six more planned GRA: you can only build a structure that has been approved. With time, everyone ll smile.

Ibadan paid the price of developing far before many southern cities.
Bros abeg leave dem be let dem talk nonsense with their mouth. There are many modern cities in the world that still have their old sections standing, please find out about the the madina of marrakech in Morrocco. Those brown roofs and clay houses are a part of the history of Ibadan and I as an Ibadan man will always support leaving them as it is or even restoring them as clay houses with corrugated roof to show how far we have come and that we are not a city with manufactured history. By the way many people do not know that Ibadan traditional rulership system is one of the most organised traditional system in Nigeria. Every Ibadan family has the potential of producing an Olubadan at sometime in their generation. No family or families holds the sole right to the Olubadan title in Ibadan.

But comprehension and wisdom is far from many of us nowadays...like they say haters gonna hate....
