The CAS, Air Mshl Abubakar presented a copy of the NAF Airman Magazine to Brig Gen Mark Camerer, the Director of Plans, Programs and Analyses for HQ US Air Force in Europe and US Air Forces Africa at the meeting.

Using the word upgraded doesn't feel appropriate as it is a whole new aircraft with less/few similarities with the Mig-21/ F-7 tho and with more advance avionics.

Tucanos are replacing the Alpha jets. The JF17 is an upgraded 4th generation capable of competing with F-15, Tejas, Mig series and Gripen.

JF-17 is an upgraded mig-21.

Tucanos are different set of planes from Alphas, F-7 and JF-17 are modified alpha jets by the Chinese.
