PoliticsRe: Lagos State Residents Registration Unveiled. Fashola PICS by KriTic24A: 5:20am On Sep 20, 2013
Kairoseki77: ,

Are you a learner?
I am not being mean, I am genuinely curious.

I just have honestly never heard anyone string sentences together and still make so little sense.

In every country on the planet you must register as a resident of the state in which you reside. There is nothing "indigenous" about it. This is not your tribal census.

You utilize the resources of the state in which you reside. (So you must pay taxes) Are you planning on not paying taxes to give back to the state that provides for you? If so, please leave immediately. You are a deadbeat and will not be welcome anywhere on Earth, not even in your brother's house.

In the US, for example, your only form of identification is your STATE ID. You car, has a STATE license plate. You pay local, STATE, and federal taxes. You vote in your STATE elections, and even get a voter card issued by your STATE dept of elections. The reasons for this are endless.

Who told you that you must carry additional residency cards? You have ONE ID. That is for the state where you reside. Reside is a word that means where you live. Do you live in Lagos? Then you will need a RESIDEncy card. Are you visiting Lagos? Then you do not need one. No one should need to explain this to you.

Move to another state? Guess what! You go get a new residency card. Do you own more than one house? Then you pick a PRIMARY RESIDENCE, and register only in that state. None of this is complex.

We are not savages living in an endless jungle, like they must do in your village. Roaming like pack animals with no fixed address. You get a donkey for that one.

https://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/fouroaks/fouroaks1003/fouroaks100300001/6535877-comical-looking-donkey-with-mouth-wide-open-showing-teeth.jpg

To have a functioning society people must have addresses, ID cards, and pay taxes. None of that exists in Nigeria, but it exists in Lagos State. If you can't handle being a big boy, pack your bags and go hug a lion.

Eko oni baje o. Fools will never slow down progress. On the contrary, we must provide for the disabled. undecided

The level of confidence that you used to spout something so utterly daft is shocking. I am ashamed for you, your mother, your father, your forefathers, and your teachers (if you have had any).
You certainly made a reasonable point going by what you wrote about your Country of Residence. But at the same time, you can't compare our own Country where the people who professed to be leaders but are actually RULERS have refused to let anything meant for the masses work, to an advanced society. You will agree with me that there are laws that you YOURSELF will simply obey in those clime but will come to Nigeria here and flout or disobey because you believe you have nothing to gain or loose by obeying or breaking them here. Over there, you know you can be deported, and you will not want to come back to Naija a deportee.

Your point would have been as educative were it not that you 'SPICED' it up with those abusive words in-spite of your environment and exposure as if you were raised in the streets. Can't you correct a fellowman whom you are obviously wiser, more educated than, without showing it or sound abusive?
Learn to be CULTURED

@deeptesting...there are areas where i think i can agree with you. There was a time in Lagos that drivers was almost carring two licences when there were issues between the Lagos State and the Federal Government because of the harrassment of the officials of both Government.

Today in Lagos, we pay taxes to the State Government and uses the Federal roads, yet the state Gov. foot-drags fixing Federal Roads because funds spent on those roads will not be remitted back to the state in good time.

We live in this clime, so we are better positioned to picture what can follow any policy being implemented by a state. It is just a matter of time.

PoliticsRe: Lawyer Sues FRSC Over New Driver’s Licence by KriTic24A: 5:55am On Sep 12, 2013
Mustay: Lol Tope Alabi! cool

Until there's a perpetual injuction, I won't celebrate. I don't understand why our fellow citizens are very inconsiderate. Methinks Nigerians themselves have not put enough pressure on their representatives in the House to stop this nonsense just the way they were so passionate about #childMarriage ish.

Yesterday when Osita Chidoka was speaking, it was very evident that the licensing was something they didn't test-run before launching. They are using Nigerians to be doing 'I.T. projects' and making us pay for such inconveniences and lapses that is none of their business.

Yeah, he says they want to have a record and database. He says the security feature can be seen with laser but why FORCE everyone to changehuh

If this trend isn't curbed, Nigerians would continue paying:
FRSC Licences
Yellow Card renewal
Police BCMR. . .am waiting for the next one.
I have been thinking seriously about this road safety people since the introduction of the second driver’s licence. (1993)
Before the advent of FRSC in Nigeria, you can run a valid license booklet for upward of 20years, because of renewal option of between 1 to 3 years. I used mine from 1980 to 1992 (and this can be renewed at ANY LOCAL GOVERNMENT in Nigeria despite it’s being paper-work) when they introduced the first so-called fool-proof or is it water-proof they call it.
But since the advent of RS, whose primary role is to ensure the safety of road users, now in charge, everything has gone haywire.
RS in about 25yrs in existence is having the fifth attempt at introducing another driver’s licence.

Each time they introduce a new one, they tell us it can’t be forged. We all know the out-come today.
Who are the importers of fake driver’s licence machine? You or me or FAKE FRSC?
Same thing goes for new number plates.
Where were their ‘think- tanks’ when they were brain-storming for a new number plate the first time for not including security features and data capture they now bandied around?
To me FRSC has lost focus. Sometime around 2008, we read that they were given some millions of Naira to procure road signs and all that, which to some extent, they did.
But today, can you find road sign anywhere in Lagos except few ones warning of Okada’s restriction and one-way traffic.
What is the road safety doing about accidents that has continued to escalate on our highways with the attendant high casualties?
FRSC simply wait for accidents to happen and go there to ‘rescue’ survivors.
NLs, what is really the function of FRSC vis -a -vis generating revenue or preventing accident on our road?

Baybe: Exhibit the qualities Christ exhibited while on earth. It's not only about going to church. Some cultists/ritualists seat on the front pew in church.
Are you sure that there are still Christian on earth? If there are, then they are just 2% remaining.
Because what we get to see in attitude of "Christian" is just nothing Christ-like.
Most of them are the worst marriage-mates, a boss who will seat on one’s promotion, employer who will not employ you, if a female, without an outing in a hotel, or a male without settlement or written undertaking.
You find them everywhere, as politicians, lawbreaker-cum-law enforcers or vice- versa among Police and Army with brutal behaviour yet Bible carrying, betrayal of trusts, thiefing pastors and ushers yet they all look so Pious and Innocent on Sundays in the name of being a Christian, all sitting in front seats “reserved” and paying the largest of tithes, Christians!!!.
There are fewer Christian these days than you think. The left-overs are just business men and women with their churches as business entities/centres.
For me, I learnt to repose more confidence in you as a human being than trusting YOU as a Christian.

I agree with you to some extent. It is true that our society place too much emphasis on marital Status irrespective of the end result.
While more and more marriages are crashing, young women are being pressured to get hooked-up by ALL-MEANS, not minding what the out-come will be in future.
We seem to living for somebody and not for ourselves anymore. And the society in question does not teach good moral to the would-be house wives.

Another undoing of the unmarried ladies is that some of them, who are opportune to secure a good job as soon as they leave school, allow the cash they are making gets into their head following which they live BIG and become kind of ostentatious. No serious man will allow such a life style go unnoticed. (A big car, tastefully furnished flat, or always the out-going kind). Or how do you expect a man who earns N50-100k to be in control of unmarried lady of N300k and above in a month. It’s just a matter of time before their marriage collapses.
A serious man will take all these into consideration before he proposes. Viewed from that angle, a lot of ladies will not get proposed to.

Kirinwa: As a caring nairalander,my advice to our single sisters is treat any man who approaches you nicely and respectfully.
Guys can you imagine approaching a lady to say hi and she's looking at you like you're ALIEN!Jeez. Some of them are architects of their own misfortune.I have discovered most times ladies hang out with playboys and sacrifice the future for a few meatpies or fried chicken while ignoring more serious guys who they consider boring without even giving them a chance.

Samoo01: ‘‘The state government said the decision was taken in its determination to ensure adequate monitoring of commuter bus operators as reagrds (sic) compliance with traffic rules and regulations.’’

So Lagos State needs to eradicate the remaining few dozens of 'Molue' that has been facing sustained attrition by Fashola's administration or the ‘‘adequate monitoring’’ of hundreds of thousands of vehicles plying Lagos roads daily will be in jeopardy? You can't make this stuff up.

Granted, ‘‘Molue’’ has become too haggard for this age and its carbon footprint being its Archiles heel, it, however, hasn't outlived its usefulness; the great unwashed still use the ugly Benz to commute themselves due to its affordability and uproariousity.

Why ban it from plying Iyana-Ipaja (the same road that heavy duty trucks ply) if it can ply Agege? And why did the reporter find it superfluous to get reactions from 'Molue' unionists?

I've never entered a 'Molue' before but I've been wondering how no one is upgrading this low budget means of transportation in an increasingly unaffordable Lagos.

The convoluted atmosphere that has become increasingly emblematic of Fashola's administration is the APC echo chamber cocooning.

Just when you think life can't get worse for Lagos proles, Fashola stifles it further with yet another Soviet-esque ukase.

As egregious as the PDP has been for us, Fashola's Lagos is a forlorn harbinger of what Nigerians will go through should APC get the mandate to man Aso-Rock. Alas, there's no alternative to PDP and APC. Nigerians are in for a bumpy ride. Pathetic, really.

touchmeder: Rubbish i saw the damn video out of curiosity and no curse rests anywhere close to me because i know who i am in Christ.
Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law please see Galatians 3:13

''Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:''

So i watched some bits of the video and kept laughing so hard at times but at other times i felt truly sorry for my country men and women. I didnt know about this church only heard of it today just like COZA church too but i am going to say the same thing. Please know Jesus Christ for yourself. 2 Timothy 2:15 says

''Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.''

Don't be moved by every wind and manner of doctrine. If you are truly a child of God with knowledge of the bible, you will test spirts and be able to detect what stinks a mile away. I am not an overly spiritual person but i trust God and read my bible fairly well. I have been to seemingly good churches worshiped there but didn't return because it didn't click with my spirit. Study the bible yourself and don't be intimidated by men of God.Respect them but know they are mere men whom God has chosen to lead his flock IN SOME CASES. You are the bride of Christ, don't undermine yourself.
There are way tooooooooooooooooo many stories of fake men of God, money loving bishops and daddy in the lord, fake miracles, churches being run like business empires passed on from the late bishop to the wife then the first son never leaving the family. LOL
Please let me not talk too much cos i know them crawlers will begin to scream and ask me not to judge. PLEASE DONT EVEN BOTHER.
Talk my brother. Talk. No matter how bad your talk is, some genuine people will learn from it.

PoliticsRe: LAGBUS Crashes Into Four Cars On Lagos Island by KriTic24A: 7:54pm On Sep 05, 2013
3ace: Although LAGBUS currently lacks good maintenance culture, that might not be the reason for the brake failure. Sudden brake
failure in well maintained cars is possible too. The only blame I may apportion to the driver is that he probably must have been feeling the symptoms but still decided to take the risk although there may not be warning signs in some cases. Brakes operate on a hydraulic system; for the system to work effectively there must be fluid in the hydraulic pipes. If the fluid
starts to leak from the system the brake
pedal will feel 'softer' and will often travel
further when pressed. Only God knows whether there were initial signs in this case or it just happened suddenly.
That is why i don't fully agree with proponents of compulsory and physical presense in data capturing introduced by the Lagos State Government as a way of reducing accidents on our road. They advocates that accidents happens too frequently as a result of no genuine driving training. You rightly mention mechanical failure. What about our road condition? Fatigue, IMPATIENCE and the grandfather and great grandmother of all errors and of course accidents: Human Frailty?
these are major causes of accidents.
Or do we take it that the driver in question does not possess the ORIGINAL Driver's Licence and the Proof of Institute compulsorily introduced by Lagos State?

I think in this wise, the driver might have negotiated that bend slightly on a high speed. That could have been the reason he struggled with the Bus before it eventually crashed.
Thank GOD no life was involved.
CrimeRe: Corporal Kills ASP Over Girlfriend In Yobe. by KriTic24A: 3:29am On Sep 04, 2013
Seriously, it's like the value of life is not being emphasized in the said police college, or rather, no orientation with regard to the SANTITY of human life. Or else how does one justify a situation where almost every member of the NPF want to killed or brutalized a fellow country-man to show status, to let the other person know he has power and the gun?

Because when it started as the so-called accidental discharge, there was no concerted effort made to nip it in the bud, it has now grown out of control that police now kill each other, a senior officer for that matter, for mundane reason.
Had it been there is a standing rule that the sin of only one policeman is visited on the other officer who is in the know, be it in patrol or in the station, there would have been a reasonable respect for anyone's life no matter his social strata. Don't forget that if a policeman in patrol killed a conductor or Okada man or anyone for that matter, for not parting with just

20, the driver of the patrol vehicle eazily zoom off the scene thereby helping his colleages escape and denial will follow. Before long, case is forggotten or stiffled out. No justice done. Shortly after that, another killing followed with little or no punishment meted out to the previous killer. Remember a policeman killed someone in Abeokuta some years ago, he was not even arrested not to talk of trial. The next thing was that he got promoted to the next rank to the chargerin of the deceased relatives who got to know when our policeman was giving thanks in a church. Even the then police Commissioner of Ogun state denied it and requests the relatives to produce evidence which they did by showing pictures of thanksgiving service before he believed.

What am i saying... when things like this happened to a policeman who commits murder, but was aided to escape justice by colleagues, how do you expect such a policeman to show repect to other people's life?
I have heard police told someone in full glare of the public that he will kill the person involved in that arguement with him back then and NOTHING will happen.

Because he knows that nothing had happened before.

Cast your mind back to the time of our Late President, Umar Musa Yar'adua, when the Channels TV station was sealed off.
A policeman in the team that came to the TV Station told one journalist that he would have KILLED him but because he PITIED his family, and that he 'KNOW' him, otherwise, he would have meritted being KILLED.
Despite the fact that all these was reported in the media, no senior policeman saw the danger in those utterances let alone punish whoever said that, at least publicly huh.

We have all seen now that because life does not matter much to them any longer, it has graduated to killing themselves.

But we believe that someday, someone with the fear of God and HIGH REGARD for human life will take over police service leadership and put an end to the trend.
May God spare our life from them oo...

chagga: Ogunjimi James Taiwo: In defence of Ese Walters: Memo to religious addicts

By Ogunjimi James Taiwo on August 25, 2013
Pin It
“You’re not to be so blind with patriotism that you can’t face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.” – Malcolm X

“Let hundreds like me perish, but let truth prevail. Let us not reduce the standards of truth even by a hair’s breadth for judging erring mortals like myself.” – Mahatma Gandhi

At the risk of being labelled a heretic and apostate by die-hard religious people who refused to believe that human beings are fallible regardless of their ‘spiritual’ stature, I have decided to give my opinion on this burning issue.

You see, like so many issues that we have in Nigeria, the issue of religion has perhaps shown over time that we are still immature when it comes to handling issues. We tend to neglect so many rules and embrace deliberate lies. The first rule every human must understand is: Trust no one. The Bible itself gave us that rule in Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

The Ese Walters issue has brought into light what many young women that have trudged into some of these new generation churches have been passing through in silence. The reactions that trailed Ese’s revelations are perhaps part of the reasons why these ladies have elected to keep quiet rather that face ridicule and open themselves up to scorn in the society.

I put it forward that some of the statements that Ese attributed to the COZA pastor are statements that cannot be denied by people who have spent their lives in churches and close to church leaders. I grew up in a pentecostal church where you get to listen to some of these statements; whether jokingly or not.

Most of those attacking Ese know this is the truth. Come to most of the churches on campus that have only student pastors without adult supervision and you’ll see and hear more than that. Some of the things that happen are too raw to even utter.

Over time, when pastors commit adultery and have affairs, their church members have always been quick to term the lady involved as an ‘agent’ of darkness sent to pull down the pastor. The pastor hides under that garb and gets away with sin while the lady involved is stigmatised forever.

These issues of sexual abuse are issues that bodies such as CAN and PFN must begin to address instead of concerning themselves with political issues. Recently, the Cameroon government ordered the closure of all pentecostal churches there because of their excesses and unacceptable acts. If these acts continue, Nigerian pentecostal churches must get ready to be shut down too and woe betide anyone who claims its persecution because even God must be disgusted with the way we practice religion.

As for Ese, my sympathies are with her and with the myriad of ladies who have suffered similar things and have had to keep quiet because of societal responses. As for the COZA pastor, let’s see you respond to the latest revelation by Franca. Thank God Franca has audio and pictorial evidences.

myOGAonTOP: Leave the sacred things of God for God! I beg all you.
2 samuel 6 : 1 - 7 is a perfect case study of someone who was trying to 'help' God out and stabilise His temple.
An ordained man of will ALWAYS have God's attention no matter what. His sins are only subject to God's judgement and reprimand . No other is allowed to venture into it.
In the case of moses as the OP cited;
1. Miriam was older than moses. She nursed him.
2. She was a prophetess well versed in spiritual matters.
3. She was 'right' in her assessment of the issue. Moses was wrong.
Yet.......i always shy away from such dicey issue because Yaweh is sovereighn and at such no man is qualified to do His duty for Him i.e passing judgement on someone He called to serve. Pls be guided so as not to provoke .......
@myOGAonTOP: in the case of Miriam, she digressed a little by arrogating to herself the power that Jehovah bestowed on Moses: intermediary. She equates herself to Moses forgetting she is a woman…
I remember somewhere in the book of Timothy that a sinner be rebuked publicly so as to create the fear of relapse to sin again in others. Do we still expect God to come down to rebuked again?
The lady involved did the right thing by talking to another pastor she believed is spiritually sound only for the matter to be played down.
If the down-playing game had started in the church right on the spot, what will happened when it gets to a higher level?
If the pastor is truly an anointed of God, he should be HUMBLE enough to apologise publicly because he is a public figure at least to his members.
Pride goes before a crash, so said the good book.

@OP: while I go with you on some of the points raised, you however will agree with me that the kind of anointing among so-called MOG these days cannot, can NEVER be compared to anointing by God. God himself directs the anointing then. They anoint themselves this time around.
Just about anybody who has enough money to float a church at any time in his career these days automatically becomes anointed of God. Did you not read in your Bible that some are actually called by their stomach and not by God? Will you go ahead and regard such people as anointed of God even when the good book had said otherwise?
Are there not MOG who are marrying and re-marrying and still claim they got revelation from God to remarry, even when it is in their Bible that God hates a divorce?
Did you also notice that MOG’s have accused one another of diabolical or satanic powers?
MoG? undecided Anointed?? cry cry Questions and more questions..

If Nigeria was a country, social services would investigate the circumstances that made him run away from home and endanger his life in this manner And put him in foster care if needed. Like I said this would only happen in a 'country' not Nigeria .But sadly, what do we have here? A media frenzy around a frightened teenager who is probably going to get the beating of his life back at home . Free the poor boy jare.......he deserves an award and a hot meal for outsmarting so called security and surviving the grueling flight
Just imagine that small boy like that being pulled as if he is an armed robber!
Like you rightly observed, were Nigeria to be a country, they would have been talking to the boy with a great regard in order to find out from him as to how he was able to beat all the so-called security at the airport.
Heads should have been rolled now.
Think of it, what would have happened now or in what mood would Nigerians have been, were that little boy an agent of the dreaded Boko Haram? How does that small boy gets near the airport, let alone walking down the tarmac, climbing the tire-rack of the plane, and got himself "settled-down" right in broad daylight in an 'Airport'!!! in Nigeria!! and there were security officershuh SECURITY!!!
That feat that the boy beats all of them makes him qualify for a National Award of Brilliance and disqualify the so-called security to be called security. If such intelligence is redirected to a noble course, i can bet that the sky is the limit for him.
As for the home front, this a challenge to those who belief they and their family must be confortable at all level to the negligent of majority of Nigerian youths. A pointer to them that they are not save if we ordinary Nigerians are not save.

Like it or not, there is a great lesson to be learnt here....Draw your own conclusion....

some of these so called pastors in Nigeria are just business men and women
their church remains a charade lipsrsealed
May God expand your understanding for saying this.
If you are not in the spirit, you will never, NEVER have the wisdom to say it. You can only speak for yourself.
You needs the mind's eye to see through all the shenanigans..
May God be with you jare.

We definitely know that nobody will want to go down without a fight.
Remember Adam refused to owned up when God questioned him then. Is it that God did not know Adam actually sinned? Yet he put up a 'good' defence for himself. Same thing goes for Eve. Everyone will rationalize his action one way or another irrespective of how glarringly exposed one is... undecided
Dear pastor, you have two "LAWSUIT" serves to you already.
Get a 'SAN' lawyer for yourself in the court of public opinion. We are waiting... COURT!!! grin grin

kingthreat: Everybody has weaknesses they are dealing with. Some its drugs, fornication, drinking, adultery, masturbation, etc. But to expose someone's weaknesses to make him seem evil is very wicked of you. Just wanted to remind you Ese Walter that as much as the pastor is a hypocrite, adulterer, etc. You are also a LovePeddler, an adultress, blackmailer and a hypocrite too. Enjoy the fame in pulling people down. Your christianity is no better than you hype yourself to be.
She does not enjoyed the fame of pulling down...
She was shocked that such a thing happened between her and the so-called MOG, yet there was no sign of remorse.
She talked to someone also a so-called MOG who played it down. So what else do you want her to do other than throw it open?
Do we not all celebrated here when the Video of police officer who asked to be bribed was shown the world? Do we not claimed we are starting a revolution to rid Nigeria of Corruption and starting that with the Police? How many of us complain of being pulled down then? Are we not in the know that bribery is flourishing within Goverment parastatal before the expose of that police? Is that the first one? Common!! Today, it happens to your MOG, you have to face it. What goes round surely comes round. Amen Somebody!!! grin

nbright: When I said the way Pastors behave nowadays is frightenin... People were looking at me as if I don't know what I was talking.. Instead of the Lagos branch pastor to act, he was just trying to cover up his colleague in the trade.. Pastors!.. After girls, pastors comes next when I want to categorise liars..

(Disclamer: Not all Pastors are liar or cheat... But how are we to know who is right and wrong?) wouldn't it be better to just avoid attending churches entirely?
Very close to my thinking grin

Dare you say a negative thing, they regard you as agent of Satan. Yet what are we seeing...
From money pastor to se**x pastor angry
Jesus had said it... those who will perish will perish.

Bishop TT: Suddenly, Pastors are now responsible for everything bad. Gone are those days when pastors were what we all wanted them to be...Poor!!! People we could push around and give peanuts to survive after which they would pray their tongue out in appreciation for whatever we give them (Same style as beggars). We were all comfortable with that and to us that was the way a true pastors should be. No one comes on the media to insult them because they weren't even worth the attention!

To our surprise, things have changed and we are so uncomfortable with the change!

People have taken this so far that they even accuse pastors of not building roads and providing free tertiary education. Pastor Adeboye for example should feed over 1 million member of the RCCG and Bishop Oyedepo should accept all Winners children into covenant free of charge.

Pastors should now take over the responsibilities of Federal Government and provide jobs. Very soon we will blame them for the poor state of the economy and accuse them for the downslide in the value of naira!!!

Its funny now that just anyone who can afford to pay for 30 min internet access in a cafe could just come up and Ridicule Adeboye or Olukoya, the two men who were PhDs before they started Ministry.

We all suddenly become God and pass judgement on pastors. If you are not happy with the way they spend your tithe...the easy thing to do is to stop paying it to them and watch if they would become poorer because of that.

A lot of folks who talk about pastors have never stepped into their churches...

Why not leave this men alone...are you not tired of ranting without impacthuh?

It is true that some men of God misappropriates church's fund....but ranting on the internet would not change anything.

Oyedepo bought is first Private jet in 1996...the press wouldn't let us rest. Today he has four of those. he started his first university in 2002...same noise, today he has started another one. Cant you see that your ranting isn't changing anythinghuh

I'm not a pastor neither do i receive tithes...But ever since i started paying tithe to God through those 'thieves' my finances have been better for it. If they like they should use my tithe to acquire more jets or fuel the existing ones. Let God be the judge..

If every prominent pastor in Nigeria is bad, then which pastor is good?? As bad as they are, the president goes to bow before them...As bad as they are, their schools are among the bests in the country...As bad as they are people wont stop trooping to them for their spiritual needs...If Adeboye is able to convince 1 Million people (including the elites)that gather at lagos ibadan express way monthly....then give him some respect! i'm not saying he doesn't have his faults.

Oyedepo, i guess has written more books than any Nigerian university professor....i think he deserve some respect too.

Thank you Bishop TT.
So pastors are free to do whatever they like with the tithes paid to their churhes and still not get distracted?
Whatever happens to the Bible's admonition to be on guard against being ensnared by the DECEPTIVE POWER of riches?
Are "pastors" not getting carried away by the same worldly things they have consistently preached against as being destined for destruction in the 80's? Not suprised though. Birds of same feather...
Do you still remember the Akingbolas of this world?... PASTORShuh

We understand it is your constituency. You can hardly find fault with them so long you belong there.

If your finace is better because you pay your tithes to whoever, is Alh. Folawiyo and Alh. Dangote also paying tithes to some pastorshuh Are there no reward for hard work any longer?

Jesus had said it all. Those who will perish will definitely perish no matter what is preached.
the voice of the people...

Aabheaven: Only God will help Naija.only in Nigeria, you will see police men vandalised civilians rights.well, i believe IGP MD Abubakar is really trying to reform policing in Nigeria so that this poor psychological mentality of policing is checked and put to an end. RIP to the dead.God help Naija
I appreciate your concern brother. But God will not single Naija out for a special help untill we are ready for such help.

However, God will not do for us what we ought to do ourselves...
