So bad. While undergoing my masters programme, I met my project supervisor during my B.sc days. We discussed and he later asked if I could help mark some scripts for his students. This course was a 200 level course and I had firm knowledge in the course as well as having a guide on what the answers should be What I saw that day left me gobsmacked. Students who can't churn out proper sentences, students writing in shorthand. I asked the lecturer how on earth were these students admitted and he said I haven't seen anything yet. During my service year I came to the conclusion that we do not have an educational sector. Graduates who can't speak proper English, who can't spell and they weren't fazed about it. School isn't the only parameter to success in life as shown by several great individuals who dropped out or never went to school. My only concern is that admission should be given to those who merit it and we need to stop graduating 'half baked' students. When students feel they can sort courses, sleep with lecturers or carry 'ochuko' into the exam hall before they can pass, we will keep having a shambolic educational sector |
Finally. It pains me to know that we know the right thing to do but due to the fact that some folks make huge amount from the bad situation, we let it be Sometimes I ask myself, why can't we get 24hr power supply? Some parts of China and Russia make use of coal to generate electricity so why can't we use the coal in Enugu to do likewise? Why can't we make use of solar energy to generate electricity in the north? Why not make use of gas that exist in the south south to generate power? How come Norway used waste to generate electricity, ran out of waste and had to import from other countries yet we can't replicate God help us |
My major concern is trying to find out if the properties been moved out are personal belongings of the outgoing lawmakers or they are properties attached to the various offices held. If they are personal, no problem but if these properties are meant to be official yet been moved out, it means that the new coming lawmakers will request for these same things and funds will be disbursed for it at probably ridiculous prices. That's how our funds are always wasted |
This country keeps going down the drain daily with no remedy in sight |

Dude buy an AKG earpiece. I got mine 5k. No matter how it squeezes, it can never cut. I don't joke with it. I recently saw a Bose earpiece. That one goes for 10k. If you know Bose product, you'll know no one comes close to them when it comes to sound. I may get it and give my akg to someone else |

So bad. Nigerian politicians are the worst on earth. Instead of fulfilling the promises they make during campaign so that their works can speak for them, they deprive the people what truly is theirs, create unemployment which in turn leads to poverty then call up touts to distribute meagre sums to the people. Owing to the fact that these folks have been subjected to extreme poverty, they then accept anything. We've seen politicians share rice, kerosene, bread and all sort of rubbish. Why not create an avenue for your people to make wealth and they will vote you all day |
Without pogba, Herrera, magic, martial, lingard, mata and Sanchez, we've done the impossible |

Utd go into this game with a bit of confidence and I hope we win. Without neymar and cavani, the attacking threat of PSG has been reduced but they still have mbappe and di maria not forgetting draxler. 2 nil to utd I predict |
