You can always fill a new DS-160 to correlate with your interview location. In my case, I'd selected Lagos when filling my initial DS-160 but I was only able to get a date in Abuja. So I filled a new DS-160 selecting Abuja. Then I created a ticket on AVITS (the visa portal) and asked them to link my new DS-160 to my visa application while attaching my new DS-160 confirmation that shows Abuja. They did and I printed new Visa appointment confirmation.

Yes. You need to also upload your school transcripts and pay the application fee.
once you pay and submit, you will receive the acknowledgement and after few days, they will send you your login details to monitor your application progress.

I have my WES evaluation already. I uploaded it on the portal. Do you know if I’m suppose to upload my normal transcripts? What program are you applying to?

Have you paid for the appication fee and also submitted your WES evaluation report? They need your evaluation report if you study outside the U.S. They are actually responding to my emails

I landed yesterday. No question was asked. You only need to give the officer at the POE your passport and form I-20. The officer takes your photograph, stamp your passport and return them (I-20 and passport) back to you.

You will also be given a form to fill while on the queue.

Mine only show amount for nine months. My account statement also covered only 9months and i got my visa approved.

If one is going for a 2 year program, and your I-20 shows Estimated average cost for 9 months (x amount), does the total student funding on the I-20 need to show double or more of x amount because it is a 2 year course?

My take: One needs to tighten up his/her plans right from the beginning. Then pray for luck. I think luck takes care of like 50% chance.

Hello friends, I'm new here.
Got Fall admission and graduate assistantship, with a full tuition waiver, living expenses, housing and flight.
My Nigerian Uni seems to be delaying the sending of my transcript to the US, and of course without it, they will not release the I-20. US school intends to email the I-20 so I'm sure to get it with 48 hours of transcript getting there. I need that I-20 like yesterday...
I can already see interview dates in Lagos showing January 2022 (too late), and Abuja showing July, still too late. I don't want emergency.
Please anyone with useful info here should help a brother- connect, advice, etc. Still pressing exams and records to do the needful though. I feel like I should travel down there and gatecrash them till they send it. I want it to leave this week.
