@ poster, I am assuming that you are not in Nigeria. I will suggest that you post it on ebay. Nice car indeed. Good luck in your sale |
190:Its a classic. You should buy this instead of the Yaris |

Check engine lite could be for any reason unless you run a diagnostics on it. Wha i can suggest is a regular service (plugs, etc) and probably an oil change. Even if its not the problem, you don't lose out. You will need those done anyway ![]() |
whats the dilly o? What did u settle for? Make we wash am now!!! ![]() |
Are u planning to ship this to Naija? What is the price? Can't seem to get this ride out of my mind In case you don't feel like relying here, my email is: promise72@yahoo.com |
Why do you want to sell ur inheritance? ![]() Nice ride. |
You will only be able to get a 2010 available. There's no dealer out here will be sitting on a brand new Sienna since 2005 even all the 2009 will be gone by now. The sienna also will be changing design for 2011. As a matter of fact, those are already hitting the showroom by now. The only tear rubber sienna i am aware you can get is a 2009. You need to specify the desired specs too. Good luck in your search. |
pics? |
Kia Motor Corp. is actually owned by Hyundai. So i will expect them to be quite a close horse race. Nonetheless, i will say you go for the one that you like the design more. For me, i will go for the hyundai. Are u buying brand new? Will you mind to share how much these cars are going for pls? Later |

Onwan:Are you kidding me? You sure you wanna talk about depreciation? You are planning to spend N5m for a ride that cost over N15m few years ago ![]() I hope you buy the car and see how much you will get for it after 2 years of driving it. You will have to pay me to take it from you ![]() |
Stay away. its a maintenance nightmare. I wont consider buying any vehicle taht doesn't run anyway. Under no circunstance. Especially a Landrover Freelander. Not very reliable vehicle anyway. Once again, stay away!!! |
@ Onwan, Like i promised you yesterday, this is why i gave the advise that i gave you. It really doesn't make me a whole lotta difference in the vehicle that you ended up with but at least you will have all the info of what you are getting into. The RR HSE in my opinion is probably the most graceful and elegant Jeep out there. It commands the respect that other jeeps can only dream of. Last year, a friend of mine was looking into getting the RR HSE. I have read a lot of negative things about the car online in terms of reliability so i advised him against it. But nonetheless, i set out to do my own investigation. I believe that as a dealer, you should know enough about the car you are trying to sell as much as the buyer (If not more). At least you can advise in the potential pitfalls the client's choice(s) may bring. My investigation led me to a small independent RR repair shop near my house here in California called "INLAND ROVERS". I spoke with the owner of the place who has owned the business for about 15years. The shop has since moved to a bigger location but the picture is the former location i went to. What i heard is too long to explain here. In short summary, i won't personally buy the car myself. I will rent one if i want to drive one. ![]() Even though the owner's wife's vehicle doesn't have any problem, not all owners are that lucky. I chose to speak with people like that cos they don't have anything at stake in whether or not i buy the car (i informed him that the car is for export). However, if i buy the car and send it to my friend and he start having problems, it will reflect bad on me cos he will think i bought a bad vehicle. All they will be saying is that "Kunle bought the car". Forgetting that i didn't make it. The above are just my opinion which might or might not translate to yours. At least i can share it with you. Good luck in your choices.

If its too good to be true, its usually is. Let everyone know that "Awoof dey run belle" Be careful. |
its a big country. There's always a niche for everyone. NOBODY can corner the car market in Naija. NOBODY. At least they won't do cotonou cars ![]() |
I am happy that you disagree with me. at least we are talking about a RR. Like i said different ppl have different opinions about the ride. Here's a direct quote inferring to JD power: What is the Predicted Reliability: J.D. Power gives the Rover 4.5 stars for design. Problems with the last generation include engine misfires, fuel odors, malfunctioning climate control, difficult starting, oil leaks, transmission leaks, and transmission noise. It was recalled nine times. The current Range Rover has issues with engine noise, inaccurate fuel gauges, and problematic air suspensions. It has been recalled four times, three of those in 2006 for issues such as uneven braking, non-buckling seat belts, and inability to shift into park. Expect average reliability. The basic warranty lasts for four years or 50,000 miles. For a ride that cost well over $100k brand new, i don't think so. The link: http://www.buyingadvice.com/land-rover-range-rover-2007-review.html JD Power is the Benchmark for reviews. It doesn't get better than JD Power. Totally Unbiased opinion. Here's their link: http://www.jdpower.com/autos/Land-Rover/Range-Rover/2007/SUV/ratings |

Onwan:If i were u , i will stay the hell away from the RR. As nice as the vehicle is, it is riddled with reliability issues all day. I have a friend who want to buy one and i advised him against it. The problem is that, you can have two ppl with totally opposite experiences with the car. Some ppl have sworn up and down that its the best ride around (which is true when its running) while some ppl will not even want to come anywhere near the car. I have heard of problematic RR from the day of sale (Brand New) and its problems non-stop. Its not that air ride is not strong enough for Naija, its only that the vehicle itself is UNRELIABLE period. I will look towards a Lexus LX570 jeep if you want something good. Don't waste your money. Leave the RR to the losers please. Please watch out this post by tomorrow morning or so. i have more for you (Hint: with some pics also) Good luck. ![]() |
it doesn't take much to get a sim card at all. He can't afford a phone? Hmmmmmm ![]() |
Leather or Fabric for the 2006? Also will you consider the option of you clearing it yourself? Will make you an offer on the 04 and 06 |
deluxek:You are very right without a doubt but you need to ask yourself what you are really looking for in a car and what are you planning to get out of that car. A brand new Accord is way more expensive than a brand new cerrato, so its a little unfair to compare a used accord and new kia. What is the resale value on a Tuscon? If you buy the accord and use it well for like 2yrs and decide to sell it today, if all of its equipment is working well i can almost guarantee you that it will be sold within days (which can't be said for Hyundai). Dont get me wrong i think Hyundai is getting better in their quality but Honda has a better quality track record than Kia/Hyundai. The feel you get from driving an Accord vs Cerrato is totally different. Hyundai came into the scene in late 80's with the Excel Model. Let me ask you: How many of those you have seen lately? I bet you see a lot of Honda Allah everyday. In fact, if i have 50 Honda Allah posted on NL for sale today, i will sell them all. A used Benz can cost more than a brand new Honda, why do people still buy them? ![]() It all depends on what you are looking for in a car and be ready to pay for it. |
