mobuch:It not just a matter of the flags dude. Its the sense of pride they exude for being Ghanaian. The flags are willingly hanged by the motorists not being "forced down their throat" by being on the license plates. There is a difference. People wear shirts and wears proudly with their country's color. You need to see them to realize the difference in their sense of pride. Do you want to compare their schools too? Have you heard of their school closing down for a whole year? They take their future seriously if you ask me. |
I beg to disagree. I am a Nigerian 100%. However, i was in Ghana for 2 months (Sept and Oct. 2009). I stayed in Accra (Dansoman Area). While its true that not all places are glam like Abuja or Lagos, however, what makes it different is that things are working. There are far better roads in Accra than Lagos. Electricity is fairly stable ( I can count on how many times it went out during my stay). Everytime there is a power outage, it never crosses my mind that we will sleep in darkness at night. Usually, it will be restored by nitetime. Only once, it went out till around midnight. Most houses don't have generators. There is also water. Most houses dont have boreholes like Lagos. The biggest thing Ghana has going for it? SECURITY!!. There are some cases of robbery but i can tell you that its not bad at all. We were at the beach till around 8pm and people are still there when we left. We need to call a spade a spade. The mechanism than runs Ghana is much better than Nigeria! Plain and simple. The university dont shut down for a whole year!. The people are well laid back and are not all trying to get in your pocket all the time (Though some do) The public office works very decent. They take their job more serious than Nigerians!. That i know! You find a lot of foreigners in Ghana than Naija considering that its only 25million people Ghanaians are very proud of their country. About 95% of the vehicles in Ghana have a Ghanaian flag inside them! As much as i dont want to get into the Nigeria/Ghana bashing, it will be nice to speak the truth at least once. |

tonyflez:First of all, my name is Kunle, not Tunde. I dont mind giving myself some brain. However, you forget (or better still you dont realize) that this is an internet. People can be reading anywhere in the world. You want to sell a property worth well over $1million with no pictures? ![]() You want people to just show up for inspection as if they live next door!. Even if i live next door, shouldn't i know the reason i am leaving my house for before i leave my house? Are you serious at all? It doesn't look that the property belongs to you. There's nothing wrong in being a broker, but at least be upfront with what you are selling. Unless of course, you are not authorized to sell the property in the first place. ![]() |
benin-man:Make sure that you are not sucker punched. Ask your neighbor how they did their own. Or wait until you get back home. The estimate looks a lot fishy to me. How much then to roof the house? if a septic tank is gonna cost 900k? |
tonyflez:So you wanna sell a 750m property with no pics? Hmmmmmmmm |
TRUCKMAN:How come you never have any pics for your postings? in this day and age, no one would take you serious! |

Luniyi_Glo:Personally, i will advise you to get the Lexus. They dont have the "WoW Appeal" like the Benz but they are very friendly to your wallet unlike the Benz. In fact in the luxury class category, they cost the least to maintain. I used to have a 1992 LS 400 with over 250k miles. No issue. Smooth car. In fact the guy i sold it to came from a different state to buy it. He was once a Lexus owner too. The high miles doesn't even bother him at all. You will be glad you did. Whenever you are ready, hit me up. I will surely track one down for you here is Sunny California that will be jaw dropping , Rust free and Super Solid but you have to be careful, the militants might grab you thinking that you are wealthier than Dangote! ![]() As usual, my email is: promise72@yahoo.com Later |
Luniyi_Glo:I am a registered dealer here in California. I am not presently focusing on Nigeria market. However, i will be willing to source and ship vehicles in excellent conditions with no micky mouse story if paid for upfront. I call it buyers' assistant program. I look for the car myself and make sure it meets all expectation rather than rely on someone out here. The car has to be perfect. No exceptions!. No excuses! If you need my help you know what to do. You have my email. |

Dear Mr. Benniewank, In follow-up to your request on this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-357138.0.html I have located a very nice 1998 Toyota Camry with a Manual Transmission for you. Manual Camry are somewhat rare but can be found. This car has 116,000 Original miles and its a 1 Owner car. Its clean in and out. The cost to deliver to Cotonou will be $6500 Like we said, payment terms is that 100% of funds will have to be paid upfront. You handle the clearing from Cotonou from your end. There are lots of people in the house that can help you get in to your place. I ship and sent you all your documents. I have a good friend in Abuja, 2 Banker friends in Lagos (VI and Ikorodu) and a Mr. Biggs Executive childhood friend in Ibadan in case you want to meet someone on my behalf. Remember that i wont make any move on the car until you do, hence, there's no guarantee how long this car will be around. I have highlighted the "FLAWS" i see. I like to keep you 100% aware of the condition of the car. No surprises! Car runs smooth and everything works on the car. My email is: Promise72@yahoo.com

Fhemmmy:Pay attention guy! He wants a Corolla!. Stay away from too much thanksgiving turkey! ![]() |
blackdolla:Why dont you get any of the guys in house to help you pre-order it. You MIGHT be lucky to find one that is not salvage on ground in Lagos but you know how that is? Very slim chances. Does it have to be a 2005 precisely? What if newer? |
ateke2:Please watch out for my posting tomorrow, i will probably have some pics on this issue. Nice pics too. Later friend. |
. |
blackdolla:Auto/Manual? Any color preference? |
Benniewank:The vehicles takes about 4 weeks to get to Naija after it leaves here. Clearing in Cotonou will take only few days and few more days to get to you (depending on your Cotonou agent). I actually have a really nice on for you ready and waiting. Will strive to get the pics tomorrow or saturday and see if i can post it. Go ahead and send me email and we will discuss further. Later. |
