Spoondar: THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVENT GONE FOR INTERVIEW
When i sent our forms to KCC i made my US Visa using photoshop i replaced this photo with the one i sent to KCC and put my information in it. Then i used this as my phone screen saver, so everytime i saw it even before i went to bed I could look at it and say "Thank you God for this wonderful Visa". Always thank God in advance and believe you have it. Anything you want to achieve make photos of it stick it in your bedroom atleast this is where nobody visits apart from you, if you visualize something, it will eventually come true.

Please have been working before and my interview is around the corner. I did jamb last year and gained admission into polytechnic. But it was not included when sending the for. I only used high school no degree. So please is it necessarily to take along with me the admission letter?

I dont think so. Except u just want to take it along but not submit it in case they ask what u are doing now. Aside that, it's really not necessary since the highest education u filled was ur school cert. Shallom.

junkerhill: how could he expect his 2NL this march when he is not current yet and he has not received a notification letter from kcc telling him they have received his form. If you send your form to kcc, they will send you an email informing you the date your form got to them. Correct me if I'm wrong people.

KCC doesnt need to acknowledge his form. He should expect his 2NL soon, since he has been current since last year.

ericgold: What can one do if he/she cannnot find his/her Confimation number How can one check?? Or except you win and they contacted you!!!

U mean ur 1NL? I think ur confirmation no is very key o. Try and get it by all means. I dont think they will send it to ur inbox o except for 2NL. Others can confirm this.

Gentiger: This is Gentiger reporting live and direct from LOS ANGELES California. I arrived safely yesterday, 17:00 local time after about 20hrs flifgt and 6hrs layover at Istanbul.

It was a fun experience and i thank everyone who through prayers and goodwill messages made this happen. If you are coming through Los Angeles, i must prepare your mind on what to expect. I cant tell if it's the same thing everywhere else. On arrival, we were greeted by sniffing scoundrels. They had to ensure we were drugs free. We proceeded to the immigration post to have our documents and visa packets (sealed Envelope} processed. It took a while because we were about 6 of us. I issued them with a new address for the delivery of my green card. You can change the delivery address of your green card to anywhere of your choice within the US. It's not true, neither is it mandatory you must come in through the Port you specified in your form to KCC.

From the immigration post we were ushered to the customs for screening. They spent time processing us. Expect discriminatory treatment if you are an African male, Asian or Middle east. They will single you out for special attention. They did what must be done and formally welcomed us to America.

For those of you who already have your visas, hurry up and join us here. This country is a beautiful place. Nowhere in Nigeria can be compared to Los Angeles California. Those awaiting interview, i wish you success. You will surely testify. I will be back here to share my experience with gay people as a way of preparing your minds for what obtains here. Spoondar: Oh yes, you are right about this coz someone will just imagine that the information must be inside not knowing it is on the immigration summary sheet that is attached to the sealed envelope. Please people read every thing you receive because this information i saw it at the Consulate office before we got out and also the same number is written on the white peace of paper you are given after the visa is approved, if at all you got one together with the green one. Thank you Adzovia for that reminder.

Guys, @ what point are u given the big sealed envelope? is it when ur visa is approved on the interview day or on the day of ur passport/via pick-up?

My tip for those awaiting the interview is.... Follow the instructions on the website thoroughly, & be very nice & civil. It can shorten ur interview considerably.

But more importantly, be confident in God. When it's ur time to change location, then it's ur time, hopefully for d best.

I left my phone @ home that why I have not spoken since.

My Visa was approve.

I got to the embassy @ 6:15am.. I waited till 9:45am before I was called in. Collected the payment slip, when thru the security and straight to the hall where interview is being conducted. I paid payment, submitted mine document. And I was waiting for my number to be call. I meet couple of guys.. We just started chatting like as if we have know each other for long time. With great believe that our visa has being approved. Suddenly my number beep @ counter 13 about 12 :15pm.

Me: Good afternoon Sir.
Co: Good afternoon and how are u doing.
Me: fine and u.
Co: Raise up ur hand...bla bla bla.
Me: yes I do.. Finger print.
Co: Wat do U do.
Me: Schooling and working.
Co: What d name of sch
Me: lasu sch of part time.
Co: he ask about my work.
Me: I told him designation at work
Co: he ask full meaning of my designation.
Me : I told him.
Co: Hope u are finding it easy.
Me: yes and it cool.

Last week Thursday at exactly 11:40.29 AM i received a call from The Embassy the lady that called me said that the Administrative Procesing for my name being so common was completed and that my name was cleared. I was told to bring my passport in and to pick up my visa. Thank you Jesus!!! the nightmare is over. My case was sent to administrative procesing Jan 15th and I got a confirmation that they can issue my visa yesterday Monday 25th it took 5 working days.
Today I realized no matter how old we get, we will always be full of joy and happiness as soon as we have the support of our friends and family,ALL THANKS TO THE MASTER PLAN.BABA GOD!.

That was all, we left feeling pretty. By the we were interviewed all of us at the same time, she didnt say that i sit she interviews my hubby no no.

oayombo: I may not be able to post my sisters testimony in the format u guys want but I hope you all understand the gist.
They got to the embassy... herself, husband and baby. Did all the pre-interview stuffs and paid the visa fee.
They called them to the window where a young white guy was at the other end.
He immediately told the husband to move far away from them, at this point the baby started crying profusely until the father had to come carry him. The CO kept saying, sorry baby...dont cry nomore..lol
She took the oath, the guy looked at her waec...asked her for proof of actually attending that school of which she brought out her testimonial.
Then he quizzed her on ALL the subjects, I repeat...ALL 9 SUBJECTS. She was asked to mention at least one topic/aspect from each.
CO....tell me something about biology.
My Sis...Amoeba, Paramecium....bla bla bla
CO....that sounds like Agric
My sis....Nooo, it's biology o. I know what I am saying (na lie).
CO...ok, I see you had A1 in maths..u must be very brilliant. Tell me a topic in maths.
Nice one (presentation quite interesting and hillarious).
My sis...Simultaneous equation.
They did that for all other subjects too.
CO....where did you meet your husband, when did you get married, where you pregnant before u got married, how/where did you tell him about it, what was his reaction, how did he propose, when did you accept and when did you fix a date for the wedding.
My sister answered all the questions confidently.

Then my sister brought out a very big album, oyibo look photo tire.
CO....ok, go to the circled address & pick up your bla bla bla.
The husband wasn't called to the window at all till visa was approved.
Thereafter the young man started quizzing the CO ón some issues as regards travelling and stuffs. He even spent longer time than the wife at the window. (If na me, na to just run conot before the CO change hin mind).
That was how the whole thing went, Grace of God naim be the koko.

nero xp: For those waitn for their 2NL,jst hav patient nd it wil land lyk ours landed.if u're current for April,as in u became current dis month,pls expect ur 2NL next month,because doz dat became current last month,most of dem re yet to receive their 2NL which wil land dis feb.so u guys dat jst became current on dis new bulletin shuld be expectin ur 2NL next month,dats hw it was in my own case wen I became current on DEC,received 2NL on JAN,nd interview scheduled on march...

@ Nero XP, I think I need to correct this fact you just stated. From my observation so far, those that become current in a particular month gets their 2NL like 6-7 weeks before the interview (this is to allow room for adequate preparation like medicals, police report and other docs) e.g those current in April should be expecting their letter this month. Your case i.e December/January is quite different as CN 10,000 was maintained for both months. So guys (current for April) be expectant!
