At last after 43 working days, got a mail from tls for passport pickup. Lo and behold I was given the visa.

Biometrics: 29th of September
Pickup email and date: 27th of November
Duration: 6 months and first time applicant

Documents submited:
Leave letter
CAC document (am one of the directors)
ID card
Document listing the directors and no of shares
Marriage cert
Children birth cert
4 wedding pictures
Wife consent letter and int'l passport
Salary statement of acct(opening bal of 550k) no other yeye deposit
Accomodation evidence ( property belongs to my dad)
4 landed property belonging to both me and wife
Previous visa and stamp to dubai(just once)
Change of name for both me and dad because of the accomodation doc that belongs to him
Neco result showing old surname
Ond
Bsc
MSC

Just wanted to make sure I left no stone unturned.

This is wrong on so many levels. Heavy fine has proven to be more effective and long lasting. Getting traffic offenders to pay like 200k is way better because after paying such amount, they won't commit the offence ever again. Selling their vehicles in front of them is pure wickedness, they hussled and took loans to get that only to lose it in a day just like that. Our politicians and law enforcement agent break the law but i don't see anyone selling their cars. We are suffering in this country

Hi guys so I intend going to Dubai for the Christmas holiday but I’m really confused cause last time I took a trip out of the country I was like 5 years old and my parents did all the necessaries on my behalf.

Now the boy is matured, I intend going for the Christmas but I got quite some issues which I’ll love experienced travelers who have been to the UAE to explain for me;

1. I hear I might not be able to use my Naira Mastercard over there as there’s a $100 limit by CBN. How true is this?

2. If indeed it’s true then do I have to exchange my Naira for Diram here in Nigeria before leaving?


3. Can I be able to use my MTN while I am over there? Cause I don’t see the sense in buying a sim over there when I am not relocating fully.


All these and many more questions please I’ll be expecting some assistance and response from you all..

U can go with dollar n change to their currency wen u get dere ...

U can use ur mtn line from there...for easy n faster visa issuance..you can go to zenith bank ..they do u Dubai Visa ..

What happen if you did a transfer and the receiver didn't receive the money for 2 day.which is the bank error ...will bank pay for such fail transaction ...and more over not every debit in ur acct you get sms alert for with Nigeria system...what happen in that instance ...God no go shame us

I just got my 2yrs from tls, I applied this month and got it yesterday.
I don’t really think all these are compulsory, I feel if you have enough income and what you intend to spend alongside property or investments documents youre good na. Even my letter (cos I run my firm) I didn’t explain anything money ��‍♂️. Just told them I’m going for vacation and the kinda work I do. The form I filled my monthly expense and annual income.
I’m just wondering how all these calculations arise... but ten Weldone

You can't be sure .. probably u ve mistakenly input 10,000 point instead of 1000 in ur application ...if u still have the letter or where u input those information online ..pls go back and check again to be very sure

Nooo...if u re using self service ..u will only scan all your supporting document and upload them to their porta online while you keep the originals with you...and they are not return back to you when ur application is over ...tey keep them for thier own record

This is a vital update on you all being afraid of using an hotel. A friend who intended to spend 7 days in the UK decided to go for 21days due to the self isolation....he booked an hotel in wallsall for 21 days with 14 days quarantine placed on his hotel reservation for one room and he then have another 7days in another room for his usual program stay. So they issued him two different reservations the same hotel....on the first 14 day reservation he has a monitor name ( a staff of the hotel on it) and mobile number. He arrived yesterday the hotel was called and the guy picked up and he is good now....he is in self isolation in the hotel cos he got to the UK yesterday. He went with Turkish airlines and he arrived in Birmingham airport.
