Honestly I dont like living in a compound where the lanlord or landlady also stay, i really find it not comfortable.

I have never had the experience of living with my lanlord or landlady before, except my mother landlady and father landlord.

I am giving room for people who have experienced this kind of situation to contribute.

TBH, I will just advice you leave the compound if you have seen a better place, so that the lanlord won't play a fast one on you.

Wish you success.
Bro that's not true sometime..not all landlords are bad...me for example I have a tenant and been the landlord of my house we have never had any issue of such..in fact...his wife and my family are very close ..even the husband to the woman usually come to play in my apartment.. Even charge their phones sometimes when ever their is no light ...in fact their wonderful tenant. I don't in fact for almost 1 year now we never bother them for electricity payment...and am cool with it..whenever they bring the money for light fine...and they respect me and my family...even now that my daughter has gone to school..they gave my daughter some good gift to take to school... So not all landlords are bad to live with

Hello Gurus in the house please I just want to ask a question am confused about.

It's about the reciprocity fees which is $110, will like to know if this fees is been paid by all applicant either if you are issued a Visa or not my understand before was that it's only when you are granted the Visa after the interview that you will be asked to make the payment but an applicant I know claimed he was not granted the Visa after the interview and he still made the payment of the reciprocity fees.
That's not true...I took my mum to the embassy ..they only told her she must come into the embassy on interview day ..if granted the u pay and if not you don't have to pay... But my mum was denied visa so she didn't pay ...she cane out with the money and handed it over to me

Business / Re: How Do I Raise Fund For My New Business? by kunzzy4me(m): 2:32pm On Nov 07, 2019
obillyj:
Lately, I have summoned the courage to start up a business. I have several business ideas but had being afraid to make the move because of all that is involved. I am ready to do so now but faced with the challenge of getting funds.
I will need about half a million to kick off and don't want to start with loan.

Do I need to write a proposal and submit to my prospective helpers or do I just meet and explain to them. I hope also to raise the fund from family and friends. How do I go about it please.

Thanks.

quote author=Justblow post=82144659]This is my story as attached, I can say I came, I saw and I conquered all to the Glory of God almighty.

I thank everyone on this great platform, respect to you all, especially @justwise, though we had some rough patch, but I must comend your effort and contributions.

Let me quickly add that, though I did not pay any lawyer to have this refusal over turned, but I actually paid for information and base on trust, I never regreted doing so, cause information is power.

And I will also mention that, there is review and once you have a solid case and you can prove it, they always over turn their decesion, because the home office know cases that can get to court and they will lose, they don't try it, cause in judicial review, the loser actually pays the winner.

Thank you house, thank you all, I wish everyone on this great platform all the best in all we do. Appreciate.

God bless you all mightily.

Hello bros.can I private chat you..thanks

uote author=atutupoyoyo2211 post=73157327]Hi Guys, I moved to Canada 2 years ago and i have not been able to save any money yet. I made up my mind that i must save $120,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand dollars) by November 10,2020. I decided to document my progress on this forum, so that anyone that wants to compel themselves to save money for the future can also be encouraged to do so. We all have different savings targets. I didn't put my full information on the forum due to security reasons since i am going to be posting my bank balances from time to time to document my progress. Now, a little background on myself. I am a graduate from Nigerian. I came to Canada in 2016, worked in a warehouse for a while. I presently work as a security guard while doing my Masters degree. Its a 2 year masters degree. My hourly earning is $16 an hour, but i work a heavy overtime schedule, since nobody wanted to work overtime, as a naija sharp guy, i offered to work the overtime shifts.
I started the Savings last week and i am going to post my first bank balance online. Lets see if i can meet my target. If anyone has tips that can help me achieve my goals, your suggestions are highly welcome. If anyone wants to save, you can also post on here , lets document our progress together. But please keep personal info off here for security reasons. So, lets do this.[/quote]
Travel / Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by kunzzy4me(m): 6:26pm On Aug 14, 2019
Gharnew112:
Good evening everyone!

How are you all doing?

My humble obeisances to both the freshers under unemployment pressure (believe in God, the story will change soon), the ones already engaged with jobs that are not giving the joy as expected (but please keep enduring, you are almost there) and the ones who feel that their joy, wealth, laughter and happiness could only be derived from other people's pain, loss and bitterness (Please, just have it in mind that it is only God that blesses. And "ill gotten goods never prosper"wink.

Please, my candid advise for anyone seeking a job is to always make, going through an agent be their last resort.
The Admin personnel are there to guide and be the middle men in transacting with agents (the registered ones though)

And if you have to deal with any other agents elsewhere. *Please* don't pay anyone hand to hand, instead request for their *Emirate ID* (that's if payment is required before anything) and make the deposit with the name on it and keep your receipt well because the Police will be glad to help you with that (I trust that they won't want to disappoint themselves).

So, below are the efforts expected of you to make, if you don't wanna go through agents...

1. Make CVs (you could do it yourself if you can download MS Word, PDF reader on your phone) for different job categories, go around to submit them e.g Malls, Hotels, Restaurants, etc. Though the present weather isn't body friendly, but what are you gonna do now?

2. Make soft copies of your CV (PDF copies though) available on your phone and stuffs the online job posting sites to drop them. (25% got hired via online jobs posting)

3. (Especially the guys) Try to approach and greet these *male Locals* in a friendly manner. And once you see he gives you attention. My friend, tell him your problem of getting a job (each Local is a *partner* in any organization, he could help you if you are lucky as my friend, he got an automatic job). But, always make sure you have at least 2 copies of your CV with you *anywhere* you go. (That was what helped that my friend).

4. Don't be selective when it comes to job (especially the freshers), the 800 Dirhams job you get that transportation and accommodation is provided (even it's a bed space), it's still manageable, than nothing/compared to where some of us are coming from.

5. (I'll check my phone to see if I can still get the link and post it after this message). For you to please check for the name of the company that is giving you an *Offer letter* in return for money/any company, to know if actually it's a registered Company in UAE.

And lastly, always believe in God and never get discouraged not relent in striving hard to bring out the best in this very land (even when the circumstances aren't really friendly)

Sorry for this long story...
To round this up.

Let me make one thing clear to us regarding all these so called agents.
Let's leave them God. If they think it is the money that will make them successful and prosperous. Fine!
But, they always fail to know that, God's blessings supercede all and it's always everlasting.

Please, let's just be careful dealing with them if the need be. *(My advice)*

Anything you do today, turns history tomorrow. And whatever we do to oneself today, determines how we are gonna open our arms to embrace each other later tomorrow.

Little is enough for the wise!

Thank you for your time, God bless you.

Wonderful write-up...pls can u DM me...need to get some info from you..thanks

Thanks, guys.

I picked you my passport today with 6 months visa. This was my second application. My first application came back with a refusal letter with the claim that my fix deposit is in doubt and how I accumulated such wealth.

As advised by justice and co, I addressed that section by providing answers to how I got the money although I have an unregistered business which makes up 70% of my fund, I just told them is it a side business and I provided receipts, invoices and legal commission agreement with the company.
( Note: I addressed my denial on the extra section of the application form and cover letter. Also, note that my employer does not pay money into my account. We receive salaries by hand).

Biometric- 1st July
DMC mail- 15nd July
VAC mail - 17th July
DHL pass- 20th July

6 months Visa issued.

Thanks
Congratulations.... Pls did u have any travel history before applying for this visa and more over where did u summit ur application

My little adventure began in Lagos were I applied for visa
With the required documents with my surprise it was grant
With no problem. The next step was to book my ticket, which
Was taken care of by a friend who worked for a traveling agency
And he was able to get me on the “ the flying dutchman

Flight=KLM
The flight wasn’t the best I have flown the comfort was what I taught it will be..but
It was perfect for my budget.
After arriving at Schiphol airport had to go through migration on arriving to the
Check point had to go to the line that says non European passport, while standing
In line I was approached by a beautiful south African lady who asked me were I was coming from
and what brought me to netherland. Which I replied, am from nigeria and came to enjoy the
Beauty of the Dutch land..
Immigration officer: what brought you and how many days you staying
Me: coming from lagos and hoping to stay for 3 days
Immigration officer: welcome to netherland and don’t forget to visit the red
Light districts
Me: chai !!.. oga I get woman oooo abeg u ..
The south African girl kept smiling at me .. as a sharp nigeria man.. I asked her name
Her : my name is sarah ..am from south Africa but currently doing my masters here
Me: that’s nice.. you have beautiful smile and eyes ..i think I just made a friend
Her: really ..sure we can be friends .maybe I can get to show you around
Me: that will be nice ..
Her: were you staying?
Me: I booked a hotel close to the central city
Her: really you so close to me ..take my number and hit me
Me: so you single..no way a beautiful lady like you would be single?
Her: its complicated but we talk ..have a nice day ..see u soon.

To be continued

Congratulations to you... Pls I shall need ur agent contact..i have a job for him... Thank you
