My appointment was for 8am this morning. Got here 7:35 and I’m done . It was easy peasy. You get into that first check point area where there are lots of chairs and they check your old visa, receipt, appointment confirmation and Ds 160 confirmation page. They collect your passport or passports and your passport photo only and tell you have a nice day. That’s all.

Hi @oab1, that might actually be it as well. My colleague has also been on it for himself and his wife (joint application) and he never sees a date too even when i did. He also raised it earlier... so just maybe.

Now i'm wondering if adding dependant has something to do with the difficulty. So the system probably sees you as requiring two or more slots (depending on the number of dependents you added). So if it doesnt have the number of slots you need at thesame time then maybe thats why you dont see anything.
In my case, its also a combined application for parents and i also didnt see any appointment while others (who likely have single applicants) were able to see appointment slots.

I had started feeling bad too when i updated that people should check after i got mine this morning as well - reason i kept quiet so it does not feel like i sent people on a wild goose chase. I got a date for tomorrow, as at when i checked... there were 3 different time slots available for tomorrow. I wish everyone searching all the best.

The custodians of the UNited states said the applicant is not qualified to come into their country . Leave them nowww. I’m sure you are aware that after a denial the system is only available for re-application after 6 months ( I read that here some time ago) . Nigeria is one of those countries with a high immigration intent rate .
How did her daughter become a US resident ? How this her son-in-law also become a US resident ? These are some of the questions she should ask herself instead of rushing to go through the whole visa application process

What email did she send to them? Change of intent letter or what?

Hello, this just means you would need to schedule a follow up interview. You don't need to wait for DHL's message, you documents will be waiting for you there already.

Though I haven't received text from DHL for pick up. But ceac status is showing administrative processing. Abeg is my issued or to show up for follow up appointment? Hello everyone...quick input. Some slots just opened up in August for Lagos US Interview. Please hurry there if you are in search of a closer date. Just about 3 days in August i think. This also applies to people who have been previously refused. All the best.

Whilst i understand that this misconception has been going around for quite a while... i beg to differ. I have several people between May and June who were denied, reapplied, picked the 'Previously Refused' option and still got a date for the interview. Infact, the dates that pop up for that category is actually earlier than the other option. Someone still re-applied yesterday in Lagos, and got a date in September for an interview and i am quite certain that Lagos dates are in November right now.

It’s not incorrect. Once you try to book an appointment, the portal asks you if you’ve been denied a visa previously in the last 6 months. If you click yes, it doesn’t give you an interview date (it blanks out the dates). And it’s also stated there that if you lie about your refusal, you will get denied at the interview for misrepresentation.
