Politics / A Nairalanders Plea To Introduce Sharia In Lagos State. by Kweenisha: 3:32pm On Dec 09, 2008 |
bush2 writes Assallam, even though to whom i write this topic may not see it but please if you are opportune to read give it a wider publicity, analysis has been made and found that majority of the people living in Lagos are muslim faithfull so i did not see the reason why the Executive Governor of Lagos and his Cabinet will not introduce the Shari'a legal system in the State, Shari'a legal system bring love, peace, harmony, happiness, and understanding among muslim and none muslim, if someone looks at the Nigerian State that introduced Sharia they are living in harmony and understanding, Shari'a as it is concern only Muslim, all the rules and regulation therein will only be applicable on muslim, 4 example in Kano State when Shari'a legal System is about to be introduce romours has been going on trying to divide the society but today as the system has fully been implemented both the muslim and non muslim are living together with love, peace, harmony, and understanding of the role to be played by each in the society. Lastly i'm calling on His Excellency the Executive Governor of Lagos State to kindly introduce the Shari'a legal system in the state which will assist in eradicating some of the persistant social vices. I wanted to know if I was the only one. I usually get myself a Christmas gift every year. Last year it was a piece of jewelry and this year I plan on finally getting myself a navigation system. How about you? |

michelin89: what will it profit her to sue her mother for it? Like hotstepper asked, will it make the marks disappear? she needs to accept herself the way she is and either move on or find surgical help. Suing her relative for it is a stupid idea. |

Islam for Muslims / Re: Muslims Denounce Mumbai Attackers As Enemy Of Islam by Kweenisha: 10:02pm On Dec 08, 2008 |
auwal87: I hope you will not openly deny this group when it suits you.See the highlighted part and if you agree with their stance, then that is the Islam the world yearns for. The tolerant Islam where the swords are sheathed Do you really agree with them? If you do then our campaign is working you are the type of Muslims we pray for. Perhaps for the first time liberal Muslims were joined by the clerics coming from organisations like Jamiat-ul-Ulema in expressing their anger against the terror outfits who have hijacked Islam. Actor-TV anchor Javed Jaffri said the Muslims had to speak out openly because after all it's Islam which is being maligned. "There is nothing called Islamic terrorists. Islam is being misinterpreted by some groups. They kill people in the name of jihad. A religion which asks its members to greet each other with Assalamu Alaikum (peace be with you) could never sanction killing of innocents," he said. |

Arnold1: You see why I call you a transgendered pray ,tell, what gives you that silly idea? anyone with a bit of brain in them knows who the tribalist is between you and me.Just because you say it a million times doeasn't mean a darn thing. For a man who thinks Nairaland is a Yoruba site go figure arnold/Texcee,stop stalking me.I'm a married woman and I don't do shemales. Thanks |

Seal's parents were useless.Which mother gives out her own child for foster care at 4? Only to take him back a few years later and abandon him again? Then he ends up with a father who beat him daily with a belt like they were in Ajegunle. No wonder the poor guy hardly ever mentions his heritage. He was on the Steve harvey radio show this morning and said he was born in London and that his parents were West African immigrants. That kind of hurt me to hear him say that. |

@ david and lady T ,I don't deny her reality which you have pointed out but she came looking for advice. Is there nothing you can say since her face remains unchanged despite her efforts |
Culture / Re: My Tribal Marks by Kweenisha: 4:03am On Dec 06, 2008 |
DavidDylan: I'm sure there's a man out there who would look beyond her scars. There are some of us women that look beyond just the physical and look for substance in a man first (thank God mine came with both) 'll rather be with an intelligent man with no comeliness than a handsome airhead. I don't believe there are no men who would do same. I said this on another thread,I know this fine girl,a physician, excellent shape, charming personality and she has 2 long unsightly scars on her face from tribal marking and she's married to a very handsome guy with absolutely no marks. |
Culture / Re: My Tribal Marks by Kweenisha: 3:59am On Dec 06, 2008 |
DavidDylan: But first he accepted himself for who he was, scars and all. There are many in his position that would have hidden their faces from the world but he didn't. I'm sure there are several others we never hear of who have "overcome" things they couldn't help. That is the same situation here. She like seal didn't bring it upon herself and a scar is a scar. The girl needs upliftment and not a put down. She should not let her scars define her. |
Culture / Re: My Tribal Marks by Kweenisha: 3:54am On Dec 06, 2008 |
DavidDylan: haba David did she say she had 32 tribal marks. Is there enough space on anybody's face for 32? A relative of mine married a woman with a physical handicap, alady with a withered leg and we all love and accept her since she's the one he fell in love with but this lady is not handicapped. Don't make it look like she's doomed |
Culture / Re: My Tribal Marks by Kweenisha: 3:49am On Dec 06, 2008 |
DavidDylan: again David, seal got his "tribal marks" almost a decade before anyone ever heard of him but it didn't stop him. That is my point |
