I come in peace. Its quite clear that the Southerners are not liked much in Nigeria. This includes the Anioma-Igbo, Annang, Efik, Ibibio, Idoma/Igede, Igala, Ala-Igbo,Ikwerre-Igbo, Itsekiri, Isoko, Izon, Ogoni and Ihrobo etc.

This hate has been shown not just on the National level, but even on NL. Its inevitable that the Nation will split because a line has been crossed, but lets have a reasonable discussion here for once without insults. Tell me truthfully, what are your grievances with the region and people? Also, since you have such, why are you so against the departure of people that you hate so much?

I'll start. My grievances with North is that they are not competitive in so many areas yet they remain adamant that they must rule. Even with the Power, they still use it to oppress and spread an agenda.

With the West. They are brilliant and educated, however, I'm not a fan of the way they play. They are neither here nor there. This makes me not want to relate much with them because i don't know where they stand.

In saying that, I'll gladly accept if these regions wanted to separate from me. Self-Determination is a right everyone has. It's unfortunate they won't do the same for me.
See olodo ba

babaolofin:
Though, I have no contribution to make here because of the South East governors, but I have an observation which needs to be corrected. Orji Uzor Kalu has never been an OBJ boy. Calling Kalu an OBJ boy is trying to boost his image and CV. He cannot even be called IBB boy despite believing so much in IBB power and always run to pay homage to IBB. I know a lot of IBB boys, they are not Kalu type of person and character.

Kalu is more attached to IBB despite the fact that IBB and IBB boys are not looking at his side. In 2002 / 2003, he begged PDP not to allow OBJ goes for second term so as to prevent Yorubas from consolidating unto power after June 12 crisis. He said 8 years in power would allow the Yorubas to consolidate.

His credential is mainly attending Unimaid and his public display of closeness to IBB. He doesn't have anything to do with OBJ despite his mother having to plead on his behalf when he was having issues with OBJ as governor.

Finally, what is happening now is what a radical Northerner said since 2019 which I have posted severally. The South East governors hosted Southern governors forum at Enugu, but none of them in attendance because of 2023 Presidency and VAT issues. They have never contributed anything to Southern Governors Forum since inception. They are so full of themselves, so self centered and I Before Others behavior beclouded them . They are so weak and timid that they don't believe in the power of Southern unity and still harbour vendetta against South West and South South. They are now begging the North for Presidency. I wish them well.
Intelligent respond though I have never heard about how Kalu tried blocking OBJ second term, it’s new to me (cc BeeBeeOoh come ooo this is new to me)
And secondly the south east governors felt the their south west counterparts want to play smart on them, so the withdrawal
Though I still believe Kalu is IBB’s boy
Lastly for you to win an all south affair you need the north
Bless you brother

Oga tell me which of the present leader in the south east is credible to be president? is it Uzordinma the betrayer of his own people? or Umahi who would rather tell his people to fast and pray rather than confront the headmen like Akaredolu did. That psychophant that even prayed for Buhari to rule nigeria again. Then we have Obiano that has continued to Ignore all southern unity meeting. And has refused to sign the anti-grazing bil, despite the killings in his region by herdsmen..Name one Leader from the east that you can vouch, that you believe will be a good leader to rule Nigeria. I like Peter obi, becos of his antecedent, Bath Nnaji and some credible Igbo leaders that can be packaged and supported by all Igbos, before they can be marketed and promoted to rest of the country..But they will never allow these people, becos these jokes you call leaders of the east will want to rule Nigeria when then know they cannot even secure their state .

Restructuring will work bro and you guys won't die either though it's gonna be hard at first but will soften as time goes on. Again, it will make all the governors to put on their thinking cap's and find ways to increase their IGR rather than this feeding bottle style of governance we're practicing now which made the governors became lazy ass's.

Getting the right person is not the problem, the problem of Nigeria is that we place ethnicity before any other thing and that's why Nigeria is where it is today.

Kalu was OBJ's boy then but frolicks with Fulani's now so, he must dance to their tune. Remember, his fraud case was quashed for a reason unless he wants to be ....

As for Peter Obi, eye yam just watching.

God has hands off in anything concerning Nigeria long time ago, he's attending to countries that are serious

Baba, my confusion is even more confused and as a matter of fact, I don't think we have a presidential candidate in the east now. What we have now are efulefu's, persona none grata's and people that are eager to clean Fulani people's butt 365 days in a year. Take for example, do we talk about Umahi, Uzodimma or Orji Uzor Kalu.

Peter Obi is outta the fray because he's from the opposition

Baba, to be honest with you, what Nigeria needs now is restructuring not Osinbajo, Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, Umahi, OUK or hardship and sorrow distributor that is presently on the seat.

Like this, I don't talk about Nigeria again because I can't hustle to eat and after eating I'll waste my precious strength talking about Nigeria thereby losing my strength which will result me eating again. Local man cannot can angry
Do you think restructuring would work?
It might work for some region but some region won’t find it easy( talking about my region and state) Na die we go die

I believe this system of government will work with little tweaking if the right person is up there. But the question now is, who’s the right person?

Kalu is more of a OBJ guy and I don’t think he will asslick any Fulani but it’s a different ball game with gov Hope

As for OBi, I think something can still happen in the opposition, you never can tell

God help us in this country

Oga ,there is not need to preach ..Yes the presidential ticket should go to the east but these crop of leaders (especially the present Governors ) are complete nuisance and a turn in the flesh to Thier own people . Who want to give these jokes the presidential ticket, when they cannot secure Thier various state? And are too having to use the lives of Thier own citizens as pawn In Thier game of Chest . Non of them in that picture deserve to be president . They are recently the new bride of the Fulanis . If they really want power to come to the East, then they must look for a credible and strong Igbo candidate, that has a good tract record .They should all endorse and campaign for him .Then we will know they are ready .But if they are talking about Thier own ambition, then they are jokers .
That’s the problem every region is supporting their leaders even bad or good for the presidency but here you are castigating your own to prove what, I don’t know
What’s your game plan you want the ticket but you won’t support those that are capable of securing the ticket

Bello ? Oga, tell me one thing that Bello has done in Kogi state . Kogi state is still a shadow of himself .Dino on the other hand looks very unserious to me . I am not a bigot but I hate the Injustice that is presently playing out in the country .this is why I have always been speaking against the nepotistic behaviour of Pres.Buhari, for his continued protection of his killer kinsmen and his disdain toward other ethnic group .
If you check my past comment ,you will observe that I have always spoken against these things and against Tinubu that brought him to power. Who has remained silent when herdmen became bolder with Thier killings &raping .
I am not a bigot but I hate the way the north looks at one side without thinking about the progress of the whole country .
I have also spoken against Osibanjo and his continues silence toward all the happenings in the country while he continues to dig his head in the sand . But that would not stop me from voting for him, if he decide to contest .Becos we have witness a bit of his leadership when Buhari was away.
Regarding which region should produce the next president: Due to the arrogance of the north against the south is more reason for me to support any credible southern leader , aside Tinubu who I believe will end up using half of his administration in treating himself than ruling .
So you can call me a bigot, just becos I dislike Buhari nepotistic leadership and hate the arrogance of the Fulanis' as well as my disappointment towards Tinubu, Osibanjo & other APC leaders for Thier cowardice in the face of the various atrocities perpetrated by the Fulanis which the helped installed into power. So, if this is why I am labeled a bigot ,then so be it .
Okay I understand you now and you have rights to be angry with them, in fact I’m angry at myself for voting Buhari twice chai! And even campaigning for him

And as for bello
If you go back at my first comment
I was trying to point out how bad both Dino and bello and they are both youths

it not about popularity . Buhari was only popular in the core North & disliked in the rest of the country until he was re-parkaged and marketed for the whole of Nigerians to buy .
We can get good hands that have served Nigerians before. They can be parkaged very well & marketed to Nigerians. Femi Adeshina (not the idiotic Femi Adeshina ) ,Bath Nnaji, Soludo,Peter obi etc .
Why much we only limit ourselves to stupid leaders just becos they are stupid & popular Any young , credible and vision driven candidate that APC can parkage & promote very well, will definitely sell .they have the federal might & resources to do that. But they won't , because they don't want any change .
