Do u know if your relative's countenance was observed and she came across as dodgy Look one thing u guys need to understand is for every case that they turn down or send back, they account to their Senior/Chief officer as to reason why, and they also bear in mind that a complaint/appeal could be filed against them. They will not send anybody back without good judgement and reason on their part.
If your relative had everything right, including body language there is NO way only a letter of intent got her sent back. And the reply we have seen so far from the embassy on here, states u have NO LEGAL REQUIREMENT to notify them! If that's not clear English I dunno what is.

Shawbabe you are right but this letter of intent has helped to build ppls 'burden of proof' and has been requested for by cbp in lots of ppls poe stories so please don't downplay it by saying it's overrated. If it will help one feel more confident let them go ahead and get it. We won't be there when they face the cbp. I'm using doctor le. His charges depend on how far gone u are. The farther along u are, there's a discount. Like cs is 3600 but cos I registered at 32 weeks I pay 2700. Methodist sugarland hospital is great. I just got out of one day admission yesterday cos my BP rose to 170/110 and they were gonna remove my babies yesterday but to God be all the glory, God intervened and it went back to 125/55. The nurses were great to say the least. Some even prayed with me.

As promised, this is my story.

I flew BA cos I love them and wanted to boost my mileage. My travel scripture was John 10:9 so I was ready to enjoy all round favour.
I had earlier requested for wheel chair or buggy assistance.

got to the airport at 8.00pm flight was for 11:30pm. Filled my e bola form and checked in. Presented my fit to fly letter. No questions asked and hubby made a photocopy for them. They asked us to come back to the desk at 9.30pm so someone can escort me to fast track. We were asked to go rest at the FAAN customers service area with a/c and TV till I was ready to go in. Please take advantage of this so u Dont stand n sweat for nothing.

as a preggy, I was one of the first to board the plane. Food was good and crew very helpful. Slept throughout the journey and landed Heathrow 6.00am naija time. Went to freshen up and went to get my buggy ride. I was taken to a nice lounge to chill where i could charge my phones and eat but there was no shower. Then hunger set in. Used my zenith master card to quench it and the rate was good. When it was time, I was driven to my boarding gate for houston. While ppl were waiting I was fastracked and asked to board the plane first with the elderly n children really feeling special with my economy ticket.

then the 9 and a half hr journey began. I wore my compression socks cos my ankles were swollen after d lagos London journey. I must hv slept n woke up 50 times and we hadn't reached anywhere. I wanted to cry. For those flying with children I 'dobale' for una o. I just kept singing worship songs, playing sudoku and dozing off in between. We eventually landed and my wheelchair was waiting for me as I stepped out of the plane. Since we landed in the afternoon I knew lots of airlines would hv landed as well so there would be crazy queues so I borrowed my self brain and sat on the wheelchair. I was wheeled to the front of one of the queues.

Everything takes about 7 mins. she says it's okay but that her colleague will take me for secondary inspection.
I'm wheeled to secondary inspection n then I saw the crowd then I began to thank God for wheelchair wisdom. They hand my file to a lady who keys in my details and passes it to some male officers. They r all laughing and deliberately delaying people but I later learn it's an act to study ppls behaviour. After 10 mins, I bring out my shiloh mantle and wipe my face 3 times. I no get time....i gat to activate my heavenly powers. Immediately the lady who keyed in my details gets up and rearranges the files, placing my file first and drops it for the officer. Next thing, they call me.

are you gonna be using reddington hospital? Of course not. That's my hospital in Nigeria.

Whose your doctor? Dr. Zimmerman (though I just used his letter for show)

na so them wheel me to the carousel for my baggage and wheel me even up to my uncles car cos the Mexican woman wan collect tip. I get home and find in my box a body shop scrub dats not mine. Apparently they searched my box even though it was padlocked. Everything was intact even the food items I brought. Thanks anyway for the scrub it will remove the 'wowoness' wey dey my face.

There is a consent form for this purpose on the us govt passport website . Here is the link: http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/passports/under-16.html. or you can google " us passport application for a minor under 16 "the form is called DS-3053. Print it out and have your husband fill it in front of a notary public and have the notary public notarise it. This was what i did before i left 9ja for Dalla,so that i can use it when applying for my baby's Us passport. I dint have or use any consent letter at poe . Pm me if you have any dififculty downloading the form ,so that i can email it to you

Generally, I don't think there's any cause to fear sha. Lots of ppl hv also had great POE experiences at the same houston. Fear can make us make some irrational decisions that will cost us more eventually. Please be at peace and God will give us wisdom and guide us appropriately. I remember when I went for my visa interview, the lady who was bouncing everybody was the same woman that granted our visas without checking a single document. My husband asked me to pray that our number won't be called at her Window and I just said it doesn't matter who it is, so long as It's God's will no one can say 'NO'.

when I was a month late for my masters course in uk, the border officer in Heathrow was about to make trouble when another officer walked up to her and asked why she was deliberately delaying me. She insisted that so long as I have a valid student visa I shouldn't be held for no just cause. Na so them let me pass. Pls hv faith in God and He will be a ready help in time of need.

Giving birth requires lots of faith so u might as well extend it to visa interviews n POE experiences. When a man's way pleases the Lord, He makes even His enemies to be at peace with him. I'm flying BA to houston and I'm at peace.

You will only need a schengen visa if airfrance stops over in 2 schengen or more countries before heading to usa. If it's just one schegen country e.g France, u don't need a schengen visa.
