This would have made more sense if the Northern golds were sold to fund oil exploration in the Southern states. And the said gold in the North what happens to the money generated from it? Well all these things happen basically cus of the Southern greed. Governors, Lawmakers and stakeholders in the south are just after their pockets how on earth is 3% to host communities logical? The problem with this country remains that every region wants the head of the other. All most all the refineries in the south if not all are currently not functional yet the FG is channeling all the resources into growing Dangote’s refinery and making the already rich Northern politicians richer and not the entire northern region. We don’t necessarily have to ignore the potentials of the entire country just to grow one man. There are up to 5-7 Americans currently on the first 10 richest people in the world.
