Following His Life-Threatening Accident, Ketchup's Record Label Issue A Press Statement;

Nigerian music act,Ketchup who had a life-threatening accident while sky boarding in Dubai on May 2nd which left him in a Coma, is said to be responding to treatment. His record label 606 has released a statement regarding his accident and his state of health now, read below

We would like to clarify the state of Health of 606 Music's dancehall artiste, Ketchup
Our artiste who just celebrated his birthday in Dubai went Skyboarding around 6pm UAE time on the 2nd of May 2016 with friends. Due to his adventurous nature, he decided to give it a try
During one of such attempts he lost his balance and fell into the water. and hit his head which made him unconscious.
He was administered first aid and was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment where he remained unconscious for some hours.
As at the time of this press release he has regained consciousness and is responding to treatment.

According to a student who sent these photos in, the people in the picture above are students of University of Lagos who are being made to sleep outside in the cold on bare hard ground after failing to complete their re-absorption forms. According to the university management, no student was allowed to stay in the residential halls without completing the forms which now include a "hall of residence clearance form" for students who reside on campus.

The university, which resumed academic operations on Tuesday, refused to give students who could not complete their forms,access to the halls of residence. The University also banned squatting and any form of gathering in the halls of residence.

What sort of rubbish is this, This is inhuman! why endanger the lives of young students because of a form, why did the school not provide a room where they all can pass the night instead of making to sleep out in the open on bare hard grounds, should incase anything happen to any of them, hope the school authority will step up and not run and hide.

Reports say Senior Special Assistant to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Youth and Students Matters, Barr. Ikenga Ugochinyere, who was detained by the DSS has refused to eat anything for the past three days he has been in detention. His family who raised the alarm said the Barrister has not accepted any food or drink from them.

Following the continuous allegations that he uses charms to perform miracle, The founder of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Prophet (Dr.) T. A. Jegede, in a recent chat with City People Magazine says they are all lies that he is a true man of God called by God himself.

The Ilesa-Oshun State-born prophet fondly called Baba Ago, had been accused of using charms to accumulate some wealth in Ile-Epo area of Oke-Odo among many other allegations. However, the prophet said none of ‘these satanic allegations’ shook him.

The bitter battle land between Celestial Church of Christ and The Deeper Life Bible Church have come to an end legally as court has struck out the appeal case filed by the Deeper Life Church challenging the judgment of a Lagos High Court which ordered Deeper Christian Life Ministry to pay N5m as damages for trespassing on a parcel of land belonging to the Celestial Church of Christ, CCC,

CCC had sued Deeper Life Church over the disputed land situated at Mulero, Agege, Lagos. On January 17, 2014, the Lagos High Court declared the CCC as the rightful owner of the land and awarded N5 million as damages against Deeper Life Church.

Dissatisfied with the verdict, Deeper Life Church appealed the ruling and urged the appellate court to set the entire judgment aside. But, in a unanimous decision, the appellate court struck out the appeal after pointing out that the CCC obtained its title in 1973 as against that of Deeper Life Church which was obtained 1998.

Following the incessant rape on the campus, female students of Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa took to the streets all topless in a wild protest. Topless female students with 'this is mine scrawled on their breasts' were seen among the protesters demonstrating against the rape culture on a university campus. The police tried to disperse students using pepper spray and stun guns but it did not work. The students started demonstrating after a list of suspected rapists on campus was leaked on social media on Sunday.

Many students, who were raped on campus said they have reported rapes to the university as well as police, but that their complaints have been ignored by campus authorities, the BBC reported. Students are demanding the university suspend 11 alleged rapists on campus who were listed on the leaked list on social media and change its policies on how rape victims are treated.


On Tuesday afternoon female students danced topless with some writing 'this is mine' on their breasts to show only they can decide to do with their bodies. On Wednesday, more than 200 students were attacked with rubber bullets and pepper spray and stun grenades by police officers who were trying to disperse the crowd even after the vice chancellor of the University had begged the police to stop attacking his students.
Eastern Cape police arrested five students during the protest . They were later released without bail and are due to re-appear on charges of public violence in July.


According to Naledi Mashishi of the Students Representative Council, five students were arrested and one hospitalized after police fired stun grenades and rubber bullets at them. Members of the Students Representative Council said they will only stop if they are assured "no protester will face disciplinary action or be penalised for participating in the protests”.
University lecturers have also joined in the demonstration.


National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union told Eyewitness News : “We decided to join the strike of the students because of the brutality of the police.
"We can’t watch our children being treated the way they were yesterday; so we took a decision that it’s too much now."
The protests are now being wound down as university staff agree to set up a task force to research the allegations.

Lectures are due to resume next Monday. According to statistics released, South Africa has the highest number of rapes in the world.
