A Nigerian-born US pilot, flying a commercial airplane from the US to Nigeria for the first time speaks in English, yoruba and pidgin effortlessly as he addresses his passengers who were amazed and shocked hahaha nice one
Take a listen.
This is not a Yankee born anything. This is an original Omo Isale Eko. Believe this lie that he has never been to Naija, then you are a big fool wey strong smelling yamayama don fall on your head already
RayRay06677: Can we ignore him and move on, thanks
Can who ignore who? Who are you to say who should be listened to and who should be ignored? I notice that about this thread. A few people feel they are the landlords and should decide who should talk and who should be cancelled. May very strong yamayama nack your shiny bald head morning afternoon and night
BarrElChapo: Hello guys. I was admitted with partial scholarship in Bleep in the Us and I was able to get my i20 last month. My sponsor is my Uncle but the account he gave me as at February had exactly the same amount of money that would cover my school fees and tuition. That is to say. My school fees and living expenses is about $55k and my uncle had the $55k then. Currently the man's account is down to $23k. He however has a corporate account that has over $150k in it. I would like to know my chances as my interview is in 2 weeks. Would they demand for an updated account? Do they still ask for Documents like that during interview or would I have to upload it somewhere in case they ask for further documents?
Guy, you will be refused. Visa officers now know the format wey Nigerians dey use. Out of 10 applicants, only 1 or 2 have genuine intentions. The others just want to jakpa by any means possible. Your uncle cannot use all his life savings to send you to school. Nobody in the real world uses business funds to send a nephew to school. I know say no be school get you. Try another format to jakpa if you no want yamayama to nack your bald head for embassy
Thank you for your useful tips on everything concerning abroad study. I have been a silent render and have learned a lot.
I was recently offered a full ride scholarship + stipend and TA position at Iowa State University, thanks to the tips I read here. I am currently preparing for the Visa process and I have absolutely no idea on how to proceed.
Here's my situation:
I have two children, 4 and 1, and they will be staying with their dad here in Nigeria (for now) to allow me study time. But I want them to be able to visit me throughout the duration of my study (3 - 4 years).
Should I go for a visiting Visa for my husband and our kids or should I opt for a resident Visa for them?
How long before a visiting Visa expires?
Can dependents with a resident Visa live outside the US for longer than 6 months? (What I mean here is, can they still live in Nigeria and visit me like twice a year if they have a resident Visa?)
How much (in naira) should I provide as proof of funds if I am going to get a resident Visa for them?
Like I said, I know nothing about all this. I'd appreciate it if someone who has been in such situation or knows much about it gives me helpful tips.
Thank you.
Your chances of getting the visa improve if your family is back home and you are going solo. It means you have family ties that will bring you back after your studies. If you go to interview as a family, you will be refused. Mark my words
shekhaz: Thank you for responding, God bless you Please any suggestions on how best to convince the V.O on plans to take care of the kids? What are the things I'm expected to have in place tobe able to travel with them.. I have not been able to find anyone in my shoe on this thread.
Let me tell you the cold hard truth. If you are not going to a top 5 MBA with funding in place (whether from your pocket or the school or other private sources) and you do not have a strong work background pre-mba, you will be refused. Mark my words!
Visa officers are not stupid. The most likely set of people to emigrate illegally are women with children. E get why
All of you using strangers to pay fees, I feel so sorry for you. Apart from the fact that the stranger can japa with your money, you don’t even know the source of the funds. Na so tomorrow when you reach Yankee and fbi come pick you, you go dey talk say village people follow you cross overseas. Not knowing say na stupidity. You better give yourselves brain before yamayama nack that una coconut head. Mugus
Jboss37: Do you have to insult the writer's intellect? You don't have to be rude as if you know all. You aren't God. I have seen plenty intelligent hopefuls requesting for assistance with SOP and CV. Stop acting like God. Be humble. I checked through your posts all you do is insult people. That's a bad character.
This is just plain stupidity. Someone looking to go and do a masters in public health in the US is seeking a mercenary to help her write a statement of purpose and you are here supporting her. May yamayama nack that your bald head for supporting such nonesense.
I will never ever support someone who wants to lie and deceive to get admitted. That is cheating and you are encouraging them to go there and disgrace Nigeria after taking the place of another student that deserves it more. They will now reach there and be put on probation and then kicked out of school. Is that good? Tueh!
Gracilicutes: Hello house who can help me write a good statement of purpose and resume master of public health
You want to go and do masters and you can’t write an ordinary statement of purpose and resume? May yamayama fall on that your dull head. You don’t deserve to be admitted and you will be taking the place of someone who deserves it more. God help us in this country. Very disappointing
shekhaz: I need the experienced ones to help with this. I am a single mum with two kids going for MBA by Spring/Summer. I have two questions please: 1. Would I get any question on my marital status? I am confused as regards getting questions on taking the kids with me. They are age 6 and 8 2. Would the kids be asked any question during the interview? Thanks in advance
ibechris: Whoever did this to you really frustrated u honestly. U sounded like someone whose life has been dented despite struggling to make sense yet the frustration keeps surfacing. Baba, park someone where and take inventory of your life,as time is going before u will commit suicide without u knowing.
And to those listening to thjs frustrated agbero, ignore his ranting,we have met more sophisticated idiots here before him,but soon he will definitely fizzle out like others.
For investing, start with whatever amount u have and as time goes on,u will compound and make some cash equivalent with your expectations. I know how much I started with in 2012 and today,I know how much i have realised so far. Don't mind critics like this, his likes have nothing reasonable or sensible to offer. The only thing that he says is"yamayama" which helps to explain where he is coming out from.
In conclusion, this guy is frustrated and bittered.
See another frustrated old eediot. May yamayama fall on that your empty big head by midnight tonight. Foolish people that think they are gaining by investing in the useless securities of this hopeless shithole should convert their gains to usd and only then will they realize they live in fools’ paradise.
Na your type dey brag say una get millions for account because million sound like money for your foolish head. Million Naira wey no reach 2k dollars lol. Your currency is fast depreciating and inflation is driving prices so high and you think you are making money with ten percent interest rate. Talk more of investing a measly 5k wey you fit use to feel fine with one correct okpo today. What a bunch of idiots we have here
RayRay06677: Bless you son, who is wiser, the one that gets 10% despite 15% inflation or the one with krowkrow balls chopping everything he has?
Who be this man that continues to show his stupidity?. If given a choice today between locking in a measly 5k in FGN bond and consuming it today, any wise man will know it is better to consume it today and enjoy the full utilities. Only a daft old fool like you with yamayama brain cells will throw the 5k in FGN bonds and allow it to dissipate with inflation and devaluation. After 3 years in this useless country, your 5k is useless. Can’t even pay for one round with okpo. Mugu full here sha
RayRay06677: [s]So happy we had contributions as before. For that dude that still dont understand why we are here cum investment. We invest because we want to add value, S.I. equals product of R, T and P. So whatever you get depends on P you brought to the table. Growth is increase in anything so therefore, a man with 5k that wishes to grow that 5k will invest it and gain higher amount but like he suggested, u can "wack" it. [/s]
[s]The boss tried educating us on the idea of consistency. I started with 2m, at 10% that would be 200 and also inconsequential but my people, today its not 200 any more, dont bother about what it has become but its not 200. For low income earners, consistency of investment that minute part of your salary monthly will definitely give you an edge at retirement.
The worst thing in life is stagnation. Let's encourage one another. I dont want this thread to die as I owe this thread all the advancement I have achieved.
Thanks all, respect[/s].
Yamayama nack your oily bald head for this rubbish wey you just type. You are getting 10% from Nigeria gov while currency dey devalue faster and you think you are making progress with FGN instruments? You are daft
emmanuelewumi: The young shall grow. The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. Little drops of water forms the big ocean.
The most important thing is consistency
The young cannot grow by investing 5k in Bonds to make 1k after three years with all this inflation wey we dey hear up and dan. That is stupidity. If you have only 5k free cash, better to flex that money and hope for better tomorrow o
petaling: Where you make money is in volume. If invest 50M, you will reap 15 million in 3 years. This is cool especially you don't know of other viable business to venture.
You are saying exactly what I’m saying. Only a very foolish man will invest 5k in the bonds
