Igbos have voted for all regions even against their own.

In 1999 PDP primaries Igbos voted for Olusegun Obasanjo, against their own Alex Ekwueme, Orji Uzor Kalu donated #500M for Obasanjo campaign when OBJ doesn't have #100k for election, because we believe in national unity and interest.

In 2003 Igbos voted for Olusegun Obasanjo as president against Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu.
