Your ardent followers will follow you anywhere.
Its not easy to compose stuff and make it as Interesting as you do.
So if you require a little bit of compensation, just do it. Those who appreciate you well enough won't mind.

FLAWS:

1. Your descriptive aspect of the story has been thrown out of the window compared as to when you first started.

2. Some of your character fade completely into oblivion.

Inasmuch as i believe the first flaw, i also find it more interesting.

Telling the story from only Ndifreke's POV would have made the story boring (personal opinion though).
Letting the authors play their various roles makes the story more intriguing. They leave their life and play their roles without "certain" constraints.

However, despite the fact that everybody will not be relevant in a particular time (just like family and a compound like Katakata), i would appreciate if they (the characters) come around once in a while.
