A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted the Department of State Service (DSS) permission to detain the convener of Revolution Now protest. Omoyele Sowore, for 45 days pending the conclusion of investigations. Granting an exparte order, Justice Taiwo Taiwo held that according to section 27 subsection 1 of the terrorism prevention Act , the word ”May” used in the section is directory and it’s not absolute, it affords the court the discretion to make a decision.
