Even after many people condemned Buhari's decision to head that ministry? Osinbajo still have many roles to play, he doesn't need to head any ministry. It breeds inefficiency, likewise Buhari too
VP portfolios are almost nonexistent except when the President is on leave hence it makes him dormant and bored.

Ministers are now more engaged in service than him. I would've supported the move if VP was partial but I trust him but fear a Northerner who has no conscience when it comes to equality and fair play.

Calm down. If there are no Igbo in Akwq Cross, then there no Igbo. Let's stop forcing things that don't exist into existence. Am from Abia, and 40 percent of people living here is from Akwa Cross infact the Aba women riot was in collaboration of Akwa Cross and Ngwa People. But that doesn't mean that we included Ibibio Language as one of our languages in Abia State. They are just migrants that came and fused into our society due to business.

Thank you. Abu m nwa afo Ngwa nọ na Aba n'ime Abịa Steeti nke Naijiria
Ndi Abala Nkamiri, Owo-elu, Ndiakata are same with people of Ikorokorieta and their Ibibio brethrens.

Do you remember the war and land dispute between the Ibibio and Ngwas along Nigerian Christian Hospital going towards Ikot-Ekpene were fought by merchineries and these neighbours were still buying from the same market?

First of all, I have zero interest in pushing propaganda. None whatsoever. What's my own on whether Abia is good or bad? I'm just calling out bad (Terrible?) governance. My beef with any terrible government/governor is that they are not performing. If you do a deeper analysis to determine why or how they are not performing, you'll realize that one issue is that they grab an inordinate amount of money for themselves alone. In other words greed.

The security vote is very likely at or around 1,000,000,000 monthly. It stood at 700 Million monthly as of 2010. I said it was a rumor because only very few people can confirm the actual amount because the governors don't need to account for it. You can always prove me wrong if you think I'm talking nonsense.

Here is the newspaper article I cited and spoke to a few people to figure out the current level now.

https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/39206/state-governors-and-their-security-votes.html

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/cut-your-security-vote-pdp-chieftain-tells-ikpeazu/

On the issue of parastatals generating revenue, my understanding is that states in Nigeria receive all of their internally generated revenue and then reallocates those funds according to their agenda. So revenue from Abia Teaching Hospital or the state schools go to the state government first and then "logically" should then receive enough money to run itself but that has not been the case for ages.

Again, please prove me wrong if you think anything I've stated doesn't make any sense.
The parastatals manage their income in Abia State. Example includes ABSU Uturu is sustainable. It pays salaries as at when due and remits money to Abia State most times.

Using 2010, the dreadful age of kidnapping in Abia State is nonsense.

Abia State is now among the most peaceful State in Nigeria as we speak hence your postulation is empirically faulty.

Check FAAC monthly allocations, Abia State gets 3 billion Naira at times hence can't afford a billion for Security vote. This a pure lie.

Politics › Re: Who Is The Worst Governor In Nigeria? by LadyExcellency: 10:01am On Oct 01, 2019

Also see the page attached. The governors security vote alone is larger than allocation to Ministry of education, health, sports and a bunch of other ministries COMBINED. Abia has an Abia Angels Football club? Wonders shall never end; they are receiving more money than Ministry of Sports. I read online that Abia State University Teaching Hospital staff haven't been paid for 13 months or so, is the N2.4 BN per year going to be enough for them? This state budget is shameful. I pity their citizens.
Please, parastatals are revenue generating agencies of government. Abia State teaching hospital doesn't offer free healthcare same with Abia State University and Polytechnics. These agencies receive subversion to help subsidize charges not the the money to run the agencies.

Secondly, stop this bold face lie of N1,000,000,000 security vote. State the facts with verifiable links on the amount and not propaganda

There's no proof to what exactly is the Governor's Security votes. The career opposition politicians can pontificate but that doesn't make it fact.

The wage bill is the same reason T. A. Orji sacked non Abians career civil servants.

Okay. Abia gets ~N5 Billion monthly as federal allocation. Governor do nothing gets 22% of that as security vote alone. Let's assume the security vote he's getting is legal, which it is according to Nigerian law, it probably pales in comparison to how much he pays himself and his cronies in government. So let's say all in all, the governor takes 1 Billion + another 1 Billion in salaries and other personal/government expenses monthly. That will be 2 billion/5 billion = 40% of the federal allocation! In what world is that okay?

In what world is it okay for one man to take that much of the states resources. Why not be "selfless" and use some of that stolen money to provide basic things like water, electricity and roads? Or better yet, clean up the filthy city?

There's this widespread notion that the FG is fixing roads in the north and abandoning the south, especially the SE and SS due to ethnocentric reasons. In a moment of truth and honesty devoid of political emotions, can you substantiate this your claim that the ministry of works is currently fixing more roads in the north than elsewhere?... Saying something over and over again, and believing it as fact, doesnt necessarily make it true. How long are we going to keep believing and propagating this false notion?

Meanwhile, regarding the directive by Buhari to governors, you cant really blame the FG and neither can you blame the governors. This is like a husband who while still thinking of a birthday gift he can afford for his wife, the wife goes ahead and buys a brand new Ferrarri as her gift, and then asks the husband to refund her the gift money. If you were the husband, what would be your reaction?
Get lost.

Adding this conviction to an appeal of the uk judgement, it might just bury P&ID considering the uk is one of those countries that take tax evasion as a VERY serious crime. Remember mafia boss Al Capone? The US could not find a witness to rat him out on his criminal businesses but they got him on tax evasion, sent him to prison where he died of syphilis.

If they do not have 'seizable' assets, it further shows they never had the bare minimum required to apply for the contract in the first place and thus wanted to scam the Nigerian government for what they could not accomplish and thus probably connived with some fraudulent officials to pass the screening stage. Just a few sacrifices from the secretary that collected bribe to an high ranking official in the ministry on the part of FG, P&ID bosses will be the ones begging not to be sent to jail.

I feel this is checkmate!
It's not true. Nigeria has already agreed to settlement but to the tune of "how much" is the disagreement.

Health › Re: Alcohol Vs Soft Drink: Which Is More Harmful? by LadyExcellency: 11:36am On Sep 14, 2019
ZoeyJ:
If you’re drinking a glass or two of soda (and let’s assume the glass is about 12 ounces or 350mL) per day, the effects should be negligible. If you’re drinking two liters or more of heavily sugared soda (a cola type beverage, for example) per day, after a time (everyone’s body responds differently so it could be sooner or later) you may become diabetic.
The same thing goes for alcoholic beverages. If you’re having one beer, or one glass of wine or a mixed drink on a regular basis, the effects are negligible. If, however, you are drinking a 750mL bottle of gin every night, after ten or fifteen years, you’ll eventually experience health problems ranging from mental health issues like depression to an irritated liver and/or pancreas and others, and that says nothing about the withdrawal effects.
Too much of anything is never a good thing. But, we’re all human and take just about anything to an extreme level.
My answer: depending on how much of either you consume, they both can wreak havoc on your body, however I think that alcohol is probably the worst out of these two simply because one can become addicted to it
One can't be diabetic by taking too much sugar. This is complete nonsense.

Organic Chemicals (extremes of the two pH) do weaken pancreas not sugar itself. It's only when the pancreas is weak that excess sugar becomes problematic.

Sugar is not the culprit.
