I really appreciate your contributions, comments and reply to my question.
I will want to say specifically that I never used anything forged to apply for usa tourist visa. I have my companies and bank statements and invitation letter (which were not even checked at the cause of the interview anyway). I travelled to Kenya, Dubai, Ghana, South Africa with my wife.
what I really want to know is "how can I know why visa was cancelled and why last month own was refused"?
More so I have never applied for Canada as some people were commenting towards that direction.
what I only know I defaulted is not going when I stated on ds160 form that I will be going.

Why didn't you visit the embassy when you got a notification concerning the cancellation before you decided to go ahead and travel? Someone just stated that you were indeed notified has you mentioned such on anither thread.That would have given you the chance to know why but you were trying to play smart and the embassy too will show you that they are smarter.

You eventually went to the embassy on the pretext of applying and you would be assessed as such. If you had presented yourself as on a fact finding mission when you went for your interview, you would have known the reason for cancellation.

Please be aware that there is no VO here as such no one knows or can tell you why, so go back to the embassy and find out then come back here afterwards to give us the gist. Atleast also to safe guard your travel immigratuon to other A rated countries in future; you never can tell.

This program started after sep 9/11 ,Turkey Airline had to fly you back to Nigeria cause your visa was already revoked even though it was not stamped

Note that airlines have access to check visa status particularly if it's a USA to be sure u have the access to entry. More so Nigeria system have been failing since 19 gbogboro. Don't rely on it and how are u sure the passenger didn't settle in nija so immigration turned a blind eye?

NB: No biometric request since I've done it in 2015.

I guess this the fastest online application I've come across so far.

That's why. All first timers must have their biometrics done, if you are a first timer and yet to get your biometric request then there is a problem.

Note that biometric is valid for 10years

It is my first application, there was obviously an error in the system, because it was originally showing biometric collection fees when i started the application, but after july 31st when they rolled out the compulsory bometrics for all regions in middle east, africa and so on, the fees stopped showing. My friend that applied second week in august got the biometrics letter after 24 hours. I sent a CSE, all i have to do now is wait till they respond

Pls confirm if your friend is applying for Canada visa for the first time ?

Nigerian's really acted drama and it was fun..No serious face as everybody just dey laugh as if they don know their fate before interview. Applicant were so few but everybody dey gist as if we came from the same Street.I just know say oyinbo pple dey put ha.

Is there any possibility for immigration officer at the POE to stamp one year instead of the normal six months to someone on a multiple entry visit visa that lasts for 4 years?

Initially I thought one can only be given 6 months at a time at the POE but I learnt someone was given one year at POE, she didn't even know at first, it was when she wanted to extend it after six months that she realised she was given one year at POE. Does this happen?

Find out from the horses mouth, never heard of that however nothing is impossible. I heard many years ago of someone who applied for canada TRV but got PR instead, I dont know if its true because I didnt see it. So ask for evidence not hear say.

Got my passport back this morning with my visa granted. Alhamdulillah.

No transcript since it's drop box.

Something confusing though, i submitted mine and my husband's together, he being the principal applicant. Surprisingly, I got mine and he's is yet to be ready. Please has this happened to anyone? Any idea what this means?

I may be for several reasons: Finger print, over stay, medicals, new passport, change of details etc to mention but few but no cause for alarm as along as he used his previous visa accordingly.

I know for a certainty these countries can NEVER give visa to every Nigerian/African that qualifies for the visa otherwise their won't be enough space to contain everyone.

We will be spending our annual family vacation in Turkey and Greece, if I am in a good mood in December or early next year I may reapply the USA visa but for now I still dey vex bc I shouldn't struggle to get visa to go and spend my hard earned money in someone's country.

Point of Entry Experience

Arrived YYZ Airport today from the US.

Walked to to customs area.
Went to the automated machines to scan my passport and filled an online form, printed the slip generated.

Approached a nice looking lady.

Customs officer: hello
Myself : hello, handed over the slip and passport
Customs officer: Why are you here?
Myself: A private visit
Customs officer: where will you be staying?
Myself: Hotelxxxxxx
Custom officer: How long are you staying?
Myself: xxxxxdays
Customs officer: Enjoy your stay, stamps the printed slip gives me my passport back.

Na so I enter Toronto, seems saner that the Cities have been to in the States

I have a question, what danger does a host have if a tourist (visiting visa) stays beyond the required 6 months (just as in US case)? Will the visitor have opportunity to work or do anything after the expiry of 6 months issued at POE?

I have to ask this question as someone discussed this plan and I want to be sure he won't be endangering the host's image/reputation.

He might. It may also end up affecting the chancrs of any other person he may want to invite. Let him know it's illegal to stay beyond 6 months

Please house I need to confirm from those who applied online. After the biometrics is done does the application status indicates that "biometrics is taken" on their profile?

i have someone who is worried that maybe because her application status still reads "Biometrics Collection Letter" that's why the application is being delayed. She submitted June 10 and did her biometrics June 13.

So for current applicants who applied online and have done biometrics pls does your application status states biometrics taken?

Not only bankers you wud be suprised at the nums of oil workers that are taking off.

Truth is these are the categories of professionals that know/understand better where the economic situations of our dear country is swinging to hence they don't want to be caught with the siege due to the life style they have created for themselves as such they tend to take off now becos they can't cope.
