My dad got passport request since Sept 4th but he was in London. He got to nigeria on 4th oct and went straight to vfs to submit his passport and he has long collected his passport back since on the 9th oct 2019.

It happens to me too what I do is close all brower and shut and restart the computer an I try login into cic again. I always do this each time I want to login.

Sometimes I just close all brower and open a nice new then login, that also works

Yes they both did ages 17 and 15 but the 12years old did not do

Please I just want to confirm if applicant ages 12 years old are not meant to do biometrics?

I submitted application for my family online on 26/6/19 by 27/6/19 biometrics request letters were sent for every member of the family except the 12years old applicatant.

Does it mean that Children don't do biometrics? If so what age is exempted? Why am asking is because the rest of the children that got biometrics letter request were ages 17 and 15 respectively except the applicant that is 12years old.

You can track your application by following the link sent to your email after you successfully paid for the Visa application. This takes you to Gov.uk site where you have to login. You will then be re-directed to TLS contact website. Click TRACK to see the status of your application.

I picked up my passport today and six months Visa was granted.

Below is the time line:

23rd April: Did biometrics at TLS office Ikeja.

23rd April: Visa application transferred to DMC.

1st June: Sent an email to UK Visa requesting status of Visa application.

3rd June: Received an email from UK Visa informing me that a decision has been reached and that I will receive an email from the VAC with respect to passport pick-up.

3rd June: Received an email from TLS informing me that my document is ready for pick-up.

3rd June: Received another email from TLS that my document has been dispatched via DHL.

6th June: DHL attempted delivery but I was not around. Document was returned to their office.

Note: I used self service and no Visa agent was utilised.

Thank God for His favour.

In my application I made a similar mistake by not stating all previous visa denial, as I had misunderstood the question to mean denials from Canada. Please would this have a negative effect on my application, especially with a visible Italian consolate denial stamp unmentioned on a page in my passport. My application is about 2weeks old now. You better write them and disclose your refusal otherwise you are calling 5 years inadmissible for yourself

Since she didn't do medicals, her visa allows her stay in Canada for 6 months at every visit... I'm guessing she can always go to Yankee and come back and let another 6 months start counting

Totally wrong. Her 6months starts counting once she enters either of the countries. Mind you 6months stay is not automatic its at the discretion of the immigration officer at the POE so always check what duration you are stamped in for.

Your passport will be requeted for whenever they feel the need for it. Otherwise they will still contact you, just be checking your mail.

Do biometrics once and you have achieved it till the next ten years.

Note biometric doesn't guarantee visa it only guarantees that your data has been captured.

Too bad expect a refusal with 5years inadmissible no two ways about it. If you know what is good for you quickly before your application is processed send them an email saying you erroneously omitted your USA visa refusal on your application

You may need yo pay for the conference and include the evidence of registration/conference invitation letter to the application to show evidence of registration/purpose of visit.

You need to also provide evidence of accommodation hence the hotel reservation. You can make hotel reservation and not necessarily make payment. Go online and book for hotel

You can also do flight reservation and not make paymenthe. Then you submit all these documents in ur application.

even if you renew her passport before you submit it, as long as her visa has been approved on the old passport,: the visa duration she will be granted will be the length of validity on the passport number she used to initiate her application whose visa was approved. Say for instances the passport she used to apply will expire in 8mths time and along the line her visa got approved via online application and she now quickly renewed her passport before she sends her passport on request with the hope of having a longer passort duration in order to get a longer year visa validity; too bad applicants will only be granted 8mths visa validity based on the length of the passport whose passport number was used to initiate the application.
