You can apply through SA since that's where your ties lies. I just assisted a friend who has SA resident Permit through study and he got his visa

Misrepresentation is when you get visa or entry stamps for countries you have never visited. Such stamps are fraudulent and attract a ban if presented.

DON'T GET VISA/ENTRY STAMPS JUST TO CLAIM YOU HAVE TRAVELLED TO PLACES YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN

Visa application forms require you to sign that ALL information presented by you is TRUE. When you get an 'agent' to fill forms or package on your behalf it does not ABSOLVE you of any consequence because it's YOUR NAME on the form not anybody else's. Agent loses nothing.

Just to buttress/explain on the bolded, getting a VISA(s) to a country you didn't travel to is not misinterpretation as long as you rightfully obtained these Visa and you didn't claim to have been to these countries.

But where these visas/stamps were fraudulently obtained and yet claimed to have travelled to this places is misinterpretation.

I have had several A rated Countries visas that I didn't travel too yet have renewed my USA visas after words.

Yea. Even though Ghana is visa free for passport holders like you, you are still required to travel with some form of travel documents eg, epassport, ecowas passport etc.

So if you are yet to attend you interview, you better fill another form and state no for travel history then update your new ds160 ID with your interview ID.

Look let me tell you, even if it's only the Kenya that was stamped on you passport, the gravity of the outcome is the same as when you have Ghana Togo, etc stamps join together.

I will tell you a story. I once met a USA immigrant applicant who had been invited for USA immi interview. As at the time to his interview, he had a fake Tanzania visa on his passport, immediately I detected this, I advise him not to attend the interview with that passport, rather he sud declare the passport damaged. and go get a new passport, then explain at the embassy the new passport number. He had very short time but he quickly got a new one done. Thank God he listened to my advise as he got his visa. Supposed he attended the interview with the passport with d fake visa, not only will he be banned, he might never visit the USA and some other A rated countries.

So my brother, your case is even more complicated becos you have already 10printed at the usa embassy with a passport with fake visa(s) (it doesn't matter how many countries visas the consequences is d same) so no escape even if you do another passport.

Maybe you may not be banned if you come out clean during the interview concerning your fake visa but the.chances of you getting the visa is very slim; you may be pardon but chances are you will definitely be refused except you explain/convince to the VO beyond reasonable doubt.

A word is enuf for the wise! Listen to the words if the elders.

Is Chicago your stated POE on your Day 160 form,? If not be prepared for scrutiny. Make sure you have a clear purposes of visit and adequate cash for your visit in case you are asked.

I have a thought I would like to share, I think the methods VO's use in visa application assessment are far from perfect, or they are not following them at all. It could be that getting a Visa could just be another 1/2 probability gamble. I say this because I have seen far less qualified people get approved and people who I know to meet these requirements get denied. And this happens across embassies, and it has led some naive people to seek the services of visa racketeers, a family friend who is a naira billionaire, with a construction company, married with four kids was denied visa to Germany when he wanted to shop for earth moving equipments on the ground That he had no travel history. Ironically that same VO will approve an application for someone with fake visa stamps and travel history. My friend could damn have a travel history to 20 countries if he wanted to, but he probably never had a reason to travel. The US embassy is worst in this regards. I am not advocating for Visa racketeers. But the truth is most times the visa's go to the very people the system was designed to keep out.

Bros sometimes, I feel that way too. Oftentimes in the course of my travels, I meet people and I just wonder which consular granted them Visas in the first place, and these are the ones who abuse the conditions of their visas Making it difficult for geniune applicant to be granted.

You cannot also rule out human factor, it's ordinary human beings like you and I that process theses visas, when fatigue sets in, the quality of performance drops there by leading to errors or no proper checks conducted on application. I tell you, these people have thousands of application daily that they need to work on and it's so much work.

All the same, prays plays a major role in all situations.

My intention was to visit US with my whole family(4kids..ages10,8,8,1) and hubby as I stated in my previous questions. but having read through thread 1-3, I have seen that so much has been talked about home ties, though hubby and I have good income,
But am thinking if it would be best, hubby and I with our one year old baby should go first this summer thereby using our 3 other kids as home tie, then maybe during Xmas we will apply for the rest of our kids, and then travel as a family.
Or do you we should go ahead and apply as a family,?

Your friend's IV won't be looked at, he and others with that "sealed envelope of hope" (its been sealed even complicates it all for him, it is the US embassy that gives you a sealed envelope, not the other way round if I know right) are likely already being extorted from wherever the IV is coming from. There is nothing special about the letter of invitation, it has no relevance to him getting the visa. The most important thing is for him to convince the VO to issue him the visa base on how he perform during his interview vis a vis the information on his dad 160 form
